Mojiang Tropic of Cancer Sign Park

Leaving the ancient city of Jianshui, we passed through Mojiang County on the way to Xishuangbanna, and visited the Tropic of Cancer Sign Park. The Tropic of Cancer runs through four provinces in my country, and Yunnan is one of them.

Drive to the gate of the scenic spot, and find the staff at the ticket office to exchange the e-ticket bought on Ctrip. Buy a ticket at the scene for 40 yuan, and buy it on Ctrip for only 20 yuan. The staff asked me to drive up the road on the left side of the gate, and the parking lot is on it. After driving to the mountain, park the car, and there is also an entrance to the scenic spot here. Entering the scenic spot from above is to visit from top to bottom, and the scenic spots are all artificially built scenic spots. Because I had to hurry, I only saw a few iconic buildings.

The towering building is entered from the passage below, and there is a hole the size of a bowl at the top, which allows you to see the sky. On the day when the sun passes the Tropic of Cancer, the sun should be visible.

Several poles of different lengths were erected on the nearby ground to observe the changes in the length of shadows throughout the year.

This spiral building is the main hall, and you can go up to the top to see the surrounding scenery.

After leaving Mojiang, I stayed in Pu'er City for one night. Go to Pu'er People's Hospital to test nucleic acid before staying. The nucleic acid test in this hospital is 24 hours.

When I came to Xishuangbanna the next day, there was an epidemic checkpoint when I exited the expressway. Our health code, itinerary code, and nucleic acid certificates were all complete, and we passed smoothly.

When you come to Xishuangbanna, you first go to the Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which is the kingdom of tropical plants.

The botanical garden is very large, divided into the west area and the east area, and the east area is divided into the green stone forest scenic spot and the tropical rainforest scenic spot. The West District is the main scenic spot with the most scenic spots. Because of the sultry weather, we didn't want to be too tired, so we bought sightseeing tickets. There are two kinds of sightseeing cars, the fare of the West District sightseeing bus is 50, and the fare of the whole park sightseeing bus is 100. We bought the whole park bus.

It is very labor-saving to make a sightseeing bus. You have to get on and off at the designated places. Some scenic spots do not go to the sightseeing bus. Of course, if you want to go, you can also walk there, and then return to the boarding point to take the bus. It will take a lot of walking. Taking a sightseeing bus in the West District mainly visits the Hundred Gardens, the Germination Botanical Garden, the Aquatic Botanical Garden, the Celebrity and Famous Tree Garden, the National Tree National Garden, etc.

This is the king lotus growing in the water, with huge leaves. Among the crowd in the distance, there are children sitting on the leaves to take pictures, which is a chargeable item.

There is a lawn in the west area, and you can take a hot air balloon to overlook the scenic spot. The minimum charge for a hot air balloon is 298 yuan for an adult, and it takes about 10 minutes.

After visiting the West District, change trains at the transfer point to the Green Stone Forest Scenic Area in the East District.

There is only one boarding point in the Green Stone Forest Scenic Area, where you can get on and off at one place. After getting off the bus, there are 7 main scenic spots, among which Hangsha Banyan, Tree Waterfall, Orchid Mountain, and Wangjiang Pavilion are relatively close to the drop-off point. Other scenic spots such as Dabangen need to climb mountains, which are a bit far away and require physical strength.

The banyan tree usually grows under the canopy of a big tree. It will grow aerial roots, and the aerial roots will grow more and more, intertwined with the roots of the big tree, and finally cause the big tree to lack nutrients and sunlight and be killed.

The tree waterfall is that the dense aerial roots of the banyan tree grow straight, like a waterfall.

The big root is far away from other scenic spots. It is hot and tiring to climb a mountain along the trail. If you don’t want to work too hard, you don’t have to go. Because there are also big roots in the tropical rainforest scenic spot behind, which can also be seen.

The next stop is the tropical rainforest scenic spot, and the getting on and off here is also at the same place.

The tropical rainforest scenic spot is densely wooded, and there are artificially opened roads on the ground for tourists to visit on foot.

There are also the strangled banyan tree and the big root that I saw in the green stone forest just now, and there is also a suspension bridge. It takes about 40 minutes to tour around, and then return to the bus point and return to the exit of the scenic spot.

Starlight Night Market

After leaving the botanical garden, we went to a nearby hotel to rest for a while. In the evening, drive to the Starlight Night Market in Jinghong. This night market is an Internet celebrity attraction, and it has become very popular in recent years. The night market is in a bustling area, so parking is not easy. We walked around and found a parking lot, which happened to be the last one.

There are many tropical fruit shops on both sides of the road near the night market, and the prices are cheaper than those in the inland areas.

The Starlight Night Market is located near the Shwedagon Pagoda Temple in Jinghong. When entering the Shwedagon Pagoda scenic spot, in addition to checking the health code, there are also people checking the clothes. Some women are not allowed in if they wear miniskirts or are more revealing.

To enter the night market from the entrance behind the Jinta Temple, you need to scan the code with your mobile phone to make a free appointment. There are crafts sellers in the night market, and more food stalls.

There is a river in the night market, and you can take a boat tour in the river.

Go back to the hotel for one night, and take the high-speed train to Kunming the next afternoon. There is still half a day in the morning. First go to Xishuangbanna Zongfo Temple to have a look. This temple is adjacent to Manting Park. It is free to visit the temple, but you need to buy tickets to enter Manting Park.

The Zongfo Temple is resplendent and resplendent, and its style is very different from that of Han temples. Leaving Zongfo Temple, we went to Xishuangbanna Ethnic Museum. Xishuangbanna is a place where many ethnic groups live together. The museum introduces the history of Xishuangbanna and the situation of various ethnic minorities.
