Qilin Gorge and 100,000 sand dunes have given me enough surprises, but I didn’t expect that the next Guandi Temple will also have a wonderful visual impact. Visited many famous temples. But this highest-altitude Guandi Temple is different. It is so small that it doesn't even have Baidu Encyclopedia.
First of all, we will officially introduce the highest Guandi Temple in the world, the Qomolangma Guandi Temple. This temple was born more than 200 years ago and has witnessed the history of Tibetan and Han compatriots resisting foreign aggression. Ga hill. Sakya Monastery 4316m
Since yesterday, I have started to return to Shigatse. Today’s itinerary is mainly about Sakya Monastery, and there are some local culture and arts in Tibet. Sect monasteries, while most of the previous visits were Gelug Sect temples.
There are more local Tibetans and lamas here, the humanistic atmosphere is more pure, and there are not many tourists.
Sakya Monastery plays a very important role in Tibetan culture. It can be said to be the highest academic temple. It is called "Second Dunhuang"
Sakya means "grey and white land" in Tibetan, which is the color of the local soil. Its outer wall is painted with three different colors of red, white and black, which symbolize Manjusri, Guanyin and Vajrapani Bodhisattva, which has become a unique symbol of the Sakya Temple, so the Sakya Sect is also commonly known as "Flower Sect".
I think the Sakya Temple is a must-see temple in Tibet, which is mysterious and has a strong humanistic atmosphere.
