In Beijing in July, the persistent high temperature makes people want to escape to the cool green nature in the suburbs of Beijing. Among the districts in the suburbs of Beijing, Fangshan is worthy of in-depth exploration with its rich world cultural heritage and long history. So, I made an appointment with my girlfriends, and in the best season, I went to Fangshan for a journey through time and space.

Zhoukoudian Ruins Searching for Hominids 7 Billion Years Ago

The Zhoukoudian Peking Man Site is an important site of the Paleolithic Age in China, and it should also be one of the must-see scenic spots on the travel list of Beijingers and even Chinese. According to the staff of the scenic spot, in the early 1980s, my country sent a series of applications for UNESCO's "World Cultural Heritage List" for approval. There is no Zhoukoudian ruins among them, but the information that UNESCO gave back to my country after reading the list is: "China declares the world cultural heritage, and the Zhoukoudian ruins should bear the brunt. Because no matter from all aspects, it should be more valuable than the Forbidden City. .”

The entire scenic area of the Zhoukoudian ruins is divided into two major areas, the museum and the cave ruins. It is cool and cool throughout. Both the museum and the cave ruins are summer resorts. The Peking Man statue at the entrance of the museum is impressively written with the words "Peking Man", attracting little sisters from Beijing to take a group photo.

At the Zhoukoudian site, 6 skulls, 12 skull fragments, 15 mandibles, 157 teeth, and broken femurs and tibias were unearthed between 500,000 and 200,000 years ago, belonging to more than 40 species. Men, women, old and young individuals. 100,000 pieces of stone material and ashes of fire, burnt stones and bones were found.

Most of the animal bones currently displayed in museums are genuine, while most of the precious primitive human bones are preserved in the Academy of Social Sciences. There is a story behind the primitive remains unearthed here. It is said that after the July 7th Incident, Zhoukoudian was occupied by the Japanese army, the excavators were killed, and the excavation work was terminated. During the Anti-Japanese War, the six relatively complete skulls excavated were stored in the Peking Union Medical College Medical College run by the United States. On the eve of the outbreak of the Pacific War, China and the United States planned to transfer them to the United States to prevent them from falling into Japanese hands. The skull disappeared on the way, and its whereabouts are still unknown.

Among the many unearthed exhibits, I love these two the most. One is a needle made of animal bone, and the other is a necklace made of animal bone and Baker. The love of beauty has sprouted since billions of years ago.

In the cave ruins behind the museum, the modern exhibition facilities make it more dramatic. Color projections are cast on the walls of the cave, with numbers representing the age, illustrating the soil under the influence of crustal changes. The well-produced primitive films are more entertaining and educational, and are very suitable for parent-child travel.

The Zhoukoudian site is one of the sites with rich connotations, complete materials and scientific research value among the updated ancient human sites in the world. It is also a rare historical evidence about human society in the Asian continent in ancient times, and it also clarifies the process of human evolution. According to the unearthed objects at the Zhoukoudian site, it can be proved that the Peking Man lived in the Zhoukoudian area about 700,000 to 200,000 years ago, and lived a life mainly based on gathering and supplemented by hunting. Peking man is a primitive human being in the intermediate stage of the evolution from ancient ape to Homo sapiens. This discovery is of extremely important value in the study of biology, history and human development history.

In 1987, the Zhoukoudian site was included in China's first batch of "World Cultural Heritage List" by UNESCO, which is a well-deserved honor. The seven world cultural heritages in Beijing are: Zhoukoudian Peking Man Site, Forbidden City, Great Wall, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, Ming Tombs, and Grand Canal.

Global Geopark Museum opens Pandora's box

Walking into the Fangshan World Geopark Museum is like opening Pandora's box. The content of the exhibition is based on "earth evolution, biological evolution, and human evolution" as the main line, and has five functions of "science education, leisure tourism, geological research, publicity and display, and information exchange". The summer vacation is coming, and this cool parent-child resort that entertains and educates is really not to be missed.

In the museum with an exhibition area of 5,800 square meters, there are more than 100 types of rocks, animal and plant fossil specimens, more than 3,000 cases, more than 20 model installations, more than 40 multimedia demonstrations, and 1,000 square meters of model scenes. Walking in the museum is like walking in the miniature landscape of the entire Fangshan District, allowing people to have a cool understanding of the world's geological changes and human evolution without leaving home.

Baihua Cave and Yinhu Cave are the other two major scenic spots in Fangshan District, and in the World Geopark Museum, you can include their miniature landscapes at one time. In the realistic scenery, it is amazing to easily punch in the "two major landscapes".

The magical nature is displayed here one by one, and the precious animal and plant specimens are a parent-child classroom that entertains and educates. Many families visiting with their children visited here, and the children were very interested in the exhibits. I often see elementary and middle school students studying in museums abroad, and I always think it is very desirable. Indeed, a good place like Fangshan World Geopark Museum is really suitable for study tour courses. If it is used as a natural and biological class, the teaching quality must be very high, and the children must have a vivid memory and excellent grades.

But for us big friends, walking down the whole exhibition hall, especially lingering on the shiny gems. Huge rubies, sapphires, rough emeralds, and many precious ores are definitely treasures for friends who like geology, more like Pandora's box.

Yunju Temple See life and sentient beings

Entering the ancient temple in the early morning, the first sun shines on the high forest.

The winding path leads to a secluded place, and the flowers and trees in the meditation room are deep.

Stepping into the Yunju Temple, which was built in the late Sui and early Tang Dynasties early in the morning, a cool breeze blows in with the fragrance of Zen. Five courtyards and six temples, surrounded by mountains and rivers, are magnificent; thousand-year-old temples, thousands of stone scriptures; countless steles and stone carvings, and Buddhist pagodas at the foot of Tibetan peaks. The brilliance of culture is worthy of the reputation of "Great Wall of Stone Classics" and "Beijing Dunhuang".

In the thousands of years of inheritance, Yunju Temple has always been famous both at home and abroad for its "three wonders and four treasures". Stone scriptures, paper scriptures, and wooden board scriptures are the three treasures, and the big copper Buddha in the Pilu Hall, the ancient Tang and Liao pagodas in the temple, the ancient bell in the bell tower, and the bodied Buddha are the four treasures. There are profound historical stories and cultural backgrounds behind each of them, which are worthy of in-depth exploration.

The most famous thing in Yunju Temple is the stone scriptures, and the process of engraving scriptures has also gone through the Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, and Ming Dynasties. With the spirit of the foolish old man moving mountains, monks of all dynasties carved 14,278 stone scriptures, 1,122 Buddhist scriptures and 3,572 volumes in 1039 years, and hid them in the caves of Shijing Mountain. Among them are the scriptures translated by Xuanzang at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi'an after he went to the West for Buddhist scriptures.

In 1942, the planes of the Japanese invaders bombed Yunju Temple, and the temple was destroyed, but the stone scriptures were safe and sound. At 9:9:9 on September 9, 1999, 10,082 pieces of stone scriptures were returned to the Underground Palace of Tibet. The Fangshan Stone Scriptures also gained the reputation of being called "Beijing Dunhuang" by Buddhist circles.

Among the many collections, the most shocking one is the original "Tongue Blood Sutra" from the Ming Dynasty. In Chinese Buddhist culture, there is a legend that "peeling the skin into paper, pricking blood into ink, and burning fingers into lamps". According to historical records: In order to express their devotion to the Buddha, the monks made a vow to prick blood into ink and write scriptures. Every morning, after cleansing hands and burning incense, pierce the tip of tongue, drip blood into the cup, and write with a brush dipped in blood. The Tongue Blood Sutra "Dafang Guangfo Huayan Sutra" hidden in Yunju Temple has 80 volumes and about 600,000 words. While being extremely shocking, it regenerates the devotion of the monks of the Ming Dynasty to their beliefs, which is admirable.

The ancient Tang and Liao pagodas in the temple, like the bright lights of the entire mountains and courtyards, attract the attention of tourists at the highest point. Walking in the courtyard, the scent of plants is accompanied by the breeze. In addition to the flowers, the two heart-shaped trees with roots make people stop naturally. The dense bamboo forest path is full of the unique fragrance of bamboo, which is more like walking into a space-time tunnel leading to the truth of life.

Stroll the courtyard with your girlfriends, and finally return to the Zen Tea House to drink tea. As the time approached noon, the sun began to warm up, but in the quiet place of the monastery, it didn't feel very hot. Especially sitting in the Zen teahouse, watching the process of the tea artisan brewing tea is full of artistic sense like dancing on the fingertips. The heart also calmed down along with it.

Among the Buddhist halls in the entire temple, the one that impressed me the most is the main hall dedicated to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. These two halls full of ingenuity make Yunju Temple full of human touch. The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has overcome all sufferings in the world. In the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Hall of Yunju Temple, many niches are thoughtfully set up on both sides. Many filial sons and virtuous grandchildren enshrine the spiritual tablets of their deceased relatives, and they are protected by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva day and night.

The Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva in Yunju Temple is even more famous for the Avalokitesvara of Sending Children. If you look at the various dolls sent back by the mothers on both sides of the Avalokitesvara Hall, you will know the effect of Avalokitesvara on Sending Children.

From the Ksitigarbha Temple to the Avalokitesvara Hall, a cycle of life is silently staged in the spring, summer, autumn and winter of Yunju Temple. Here you can see life and death, all living beings, filial piety, compassion, the righteousness of the leisurely world, and even more human affection. This is also the first time I have been touched and inspired by many temples in the past.

Tianyu Villa Travel through the Bavarian Dream Forest

In the lush greenery everywhere, 11 German-style wood-reinforced houses with different characteristics are scattered, which are naturally integrated with the surrounding mountains and rivers, making people feel that they have strayed into the dream forest of Bavaria. Who would have thought that in Zhoukoudian, Fangshan District, on the outskirts of Beijing, there would be such a beautiful resort transformed from an abandoned mine and a century-old gray kiln.

Founded in 2005, Tianyu Villa covers an area of 40,000 square meters and is located in Zhoukoudian, Fangshan District, in the suburbs of Beijing. It is only 2.5 kilometers away from the Zhoukoudian ape-man site, which is an internationally renowned world cultural heritage. The pure and beautiful natural environment, the green beauty everywhere, the singing of birds and the fragrance of flowers, open a perfect holiday to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The landscape of Tianyu Villa is not crowded, and there are always new discoveries when you stop and go. Of course, it is also the favorite natural background for taking pictures of girls who love beauty. What attracts us the most in the villa is Tianyu Villa·Berlin County. It is built according to the mountain, and various villas with Nordic style and different shapes form a garden courtyard.

Birds chirping, insects chirping, cocks crowing and dogs barking can be heard from time to time in the tranquility. It takes only one hour's drive to embrace the beautiful nature and enjoy the dreamy forest. We all love the pampering of Tianyu Villa!

I stayed at the Edburgh Villa at the highest point of the villa with my best friend. The location of the Edburgh Villa is really good. Our guest room on the second floor overlooks the Berlin County buildings on the left, and the lawn wedding platform in front of us, overlooking Freiburg. On the right hand side of the villa are Yangyuan, Jinyuan, Jintong apartments, vegetable greenhouses, and a pool of lake water inlaid in the center like emeralds.

There are a total of 6 rooms in Edburgh, 1 dining room, 1 living room, which can accommodate 12-14 people. Several good friends live together. Boys live downstairs, girls live upstairs, and my best friend and I live on the second floor In the room, the panoramic wooden windows are especially favorite. From the little stars at night to the fragrance of birds and flowers in the morning, a country music, a good mood to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, spread here...

For several moments, I really seemed to have traveled to the dream forest of Bavaria; sometimes it seemed to have traveled to the Jane Eyre desk in the England manor.

Sitting in the quiet silhouette of the floor-to-ceiling windows, Jane Eyre's words unconsciously passed through her mind: "You know some birds are not meant to be caged, their feathers are just too bright. You know, some birds are destined not to be caged. caged, for every feather of theirs shines with the light of freedom."

This kind of brilliance is like Tianyu Villa hidden in the pure nature; it is also like us hidden in the bustling city.

And that brilliance will flash for those who understand you.

At the Zhoukoudian site, we first saw the appearance of our distant ancestors, the shocking changes in life, and marveled at the evolution of human beings.

In the World Geopark Museum, open Pandora's box with your own hands, and see for the first time the universe in the "ever-changing" time and space, the evolution of the earth, and the treasures left on the historical galaxy.

In the quiet courtyard and magnificent palace of Yunju Temple, you can see the power of faith and the cycle of life.

In front of the floor-to-ceiling windows of Tianyu Villa, you can see the most shining light in every ordinary life.

Two days and one night in Fangshan is a magical journey through time and space, and it is also a magical journey of seeing the universe, seeing the world, seeing life, seeing all living beings, and seeing yourself.
