When it comes to Lop Nur, a series of mysterious names always flash in my mind: Loulan Ancient City, Black Mountain, Bayi Spring...

This trip to the uninhabited land of Loper is an adventure full of unknowns and surprises.

 Day 1: Everywhere - Dunhuang

We all arrived at the reserved hotel in advance to check in, and then watched the lingering ripples by ourselves, like emeralds. The spring is in the quicksand, the drought is not exhausted, the landscape of the Crescent Spring that the wind blows and the sand does not fall, and how the beautiful Buddhist murals in the Mogao Grottoes exude a magical charm...

Day 2: Participate in desert driving training

Driving in the desert is more difficult. If you want to travel through desert no-man's land, you must first take desert driving training. The trainers are mainly about desert driving skills, desert driving tire pressure, accelerator and brake control, and practical desert driving skills. You must listen carefully during the training, details are very important. In the evening we had a grand dinner.

Day 3: Departure Ceremony Entering No Man's Land (Yadan Landform, Wangshu Village "Moon Experimental Field")

Vehicle performance checks and material checks before departure. In the no-man’s land, we enjoyed the sunset in the desert all the way, felt the desolation and vastness of the desert in the northwest, and then took pictures of the sunset in the Yadan Scenic Area; Make your own beautiful films and micro movies; you can rent sandboards for free to feel the excitement of sandboarding in the desert; you can surf the sand in the sand ridges of the nearby Kumtag Desert.

In the evening, enjoy a roasted whole lamb banquet in Wangshu Village. The lamb looks charred on the outside and tender on the inside, with crispy skin and smooth meat. Coupled with beer, music, and drinking and talking, the aftertaste is endless.

Day 4: Base Camp No. 1 - Bayi Spring - Pengjiamu Monument

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the departure ceremony (starting platform, arches, sword flags), take group photo videos, slogans, and officially set off after the end, experience the desert high speed, desert off-road, shoot desert off-road videos, equipment: camera, aerial photography. You can pick up stones (fengling stone or jade) at the No. 1 base camp, and visit the water source after arriving at Bayi Spring; arrive at the destination [Pengjiamu Monument] at noon for camping in the wild; account), provide music, and can sing karaoke.

 Day 5: Mining Area

After breakfast at the camp, set off to camp at the opal jade mining area. Pass by Xilaishun along the way, go to the Hongshijing mining area, the salt water spring gold mine and jade mine, and pick up ore (the opal jade picked up by the opal jade mine can be taken away), and continue at night Camping tents (inflatable tents). Let's have fun together at the bonfire (available in good weather).

 Day 6: Haidao

After breakfast at the camp, depart for Haidao, which is the shortest road between ancient Dunhuang-Hami-Turpan. Its opening and use began in the Han Dynasty. After the Tang Dynasty, the official use tended to stop, and the sea channel gradually faded out of people's vision, becoming an ancient Silk Road that stayed in historical memory. The Silk Road, as an ancient channel connecting Chinese and Western civilizations, has always attracted the attention of academic circles because of its great role in the history of human civilization exchanges.

With the deepening of academic research, most of the sections of the Silk Road have been gradually unveiled the veil of history, but the specific route of the sea road is still buried in the dust of history. You can take pictures of the sunset in the Haidao Yadan Group, and deeply appreciate the endless beauty left by the Silk Road.

Day 7 Shanshan, Kumtag Desert - Celebration Banquet - End of the event

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for [Kumtag Desert Hero Pot] In literary and artistic works throughout the ages, a hero must have three basic conditions: one is to have extraordinary courage, the other is to have superb skills, and the third is , a horse that can gallop thousands of miles. In the Kumtag Desert, the "Hero Pot" is not only the temple in the hearts of countless off-road enthusiasts with heroic dreams, but also makes many challengers return home in defeat.

The "Hero Pot" is surrounded by two sand mountains and a sand beam, with a drop of more than 100 meters, and the diameter of the upper edge is more than 200 meters. It is hemispherical, just like a natural cauldron located in the desert. If the driver does not have enough courage, he can only stand by the pot and imagine the pride of rushing out of the hero pot. And if the driver who entered the pot did not have superb driving skills, he would either fall into the pot, or hit the sand with his head straight at the moment of rushing out, and fell into darkness. After all, not everyone can be a hero.

Stayed at the hotel in the evening and held a celebration dinner. The driving brigade’s 2019 self-driving trip through the “Sea of Death” Lop Nur no-man’s land has come to an end. It lasted 7 days and 6 nights, driving 1358 kilometers, 43 rescues, 2 broken cars, and finally crossed successfully . This is really an adventure full of unknowns and surprises.
