I have longed for Xishuangbanna since I was very young, and I always feel that there is the most mysterious tropical kingdom there. Finally, when I was 25 years old, I really came to Xishuangbanna. It took five days to witness many beautiful things in Xishuangbanna.

Meet the beauty of Xishuangbanna
It was already late when we landed in Xishuangbanna, so we drove directly to Gaozhuang Night Market after picking up the car. The first time I met Xishuangbanna was such a beautiful night scene, I was very satisfied.
When going to the night market, we first passed the Shwedagon Pagoda Temple. This temple is golden and looks very high-end. After passing through the temple, we arrived at the Gaozhuang Night Market. This night market gives people the feeling that it is a super market. There is everything in it, it is simply too lively.
Stand on the stairs and take a look at the scenery of Gaozhuang Night Market. The Mekong River guards the city quietly. Some people took a cruise ship to visit the scenery on both sides of the strait, and some people walked around the shore, either holding snacks in their hands, or taking pictures with a camera, or carrying the gifts they just bought. As a tourist, I really felt the atmosphere of life here.
Let’s talk about snacks first, there are a lot of night market stalls here. There are really all kinds of food! To be honest, the night markets in Thailand are completely inferior to those in Xishuangbanna, neither in cleanliness nor in the size of the night markets.
As we walked, we came across a big stage. There were always singers singing on this stage. It was also very good to listen to the songs and see the scenery.
Xishuangbanna is a place with a strong exotic style. If you want to take some pictures of ethnic style, the best way is to buy a set of clothes in a clothing store and take pictures in the clothes. You can really blend into the style of Xishuangbanna, especially good.

The first night we wandered around the Gaozhuang Night Market until close to 11 o'clock. When we returned to the hotel, a few people chatted and ate takeaway food. We didn't go to bed until late at night, so we woke up naturally the next day. We had some food in a small shop downstairs in the hotel, and then we went to Mengle Great Buddhist Temple.
The Mengle Great Buddha Temple is a well-known local temple, and the temple tickets are a bit expensive, 60 yuan per person. I heard that this is still a half-price ticket. It used to be 120 yuan a ticket. It is probably half-price during the epidemic.
By the way, when we came to Xishuangbanna, we found that the tickets for all the attractions here are half price. In this way, it can be regarded as saving money.
There are explanations in the temple, which require an additional fee. We were not willing, but we just listened to the official audio explanation. The audio explanation is definitely not as vivid as the tour guide's, but I think it is enough for tourists like me.
We also met people playing water splashing games in the square. Tourists can also join in, but need to rent their costumes, which we gave up.
Manting Park, the park is very large, and the environment inside is not bad. I saw this elephant riding place while walking. Elephants must be unhappy. I really hope that domestic zoos can achieve zero animal performances one day earlier. I also hope that more and more tourists will not watch animal performances or participate in any paid and animal-interactive projects.
There are indeed a lot of people in Manting Park. I like the tone here very much. It feels like going to Thailand.
Tourists almost kneel down to worship a Buddha statue. I heard that people are responsible for different "projects" of different Buddha statues in popular science.
The bar street in Xishuangbanna is also very good, you can go to the bar, or you can choose to be quiet. We went to a hotel at random to feel the feel of the hotel. The consumption in the hotel is very high, each of us just ordered a bottle of beer, drank the beer and felt the atmosphere before leaving.
Starting from the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences
The Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Xishuangbanna is a must-see, where the plant species are particularly rich. It can be said that the types of tropical plants I have seen here have completely enriched my biological knowledge, and here I can see many plants that I have never seen or heard before.
The Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is very large, and there are battery cars in the scenic area. I still recommend that everyone take a battery car, especially the East Garden, which is very large. If you don't take a battery car, you can't finish shopping until the botanical garden is closed. By the way, the battery car costs 100 yuan regardless of whether it is in the East Park or the West Park. If you choose a battery car in both places, it will cost 140 yuan.
After arriving at the botanical garden, the first scenery to see is Wang Lianchi. Wang Lianchi is the most representative scenic spot in the botanical garden. You can take pictures in the pond for 10 yuan. The photos taken are really nice, but the management in the scenic area is really poor. Some people even filmed there for 2 hours straight, while others lined up behind them. I felt that it would be better if an administrator could control the time.
There are hot air balloons in the scenic area to experience. The hot air balloon costs 280 yuan per person, but the hot air balloon here is only born about 50 meters in the air and then comes down. In many areas, the hot air balloon has a flying process. Personally, I feel that the 280 yuan spent is really not worth it. Note that the hot air balloon is in the West Park, and you can walk from the East Park to the West Park.

We went to Mandiu Village, and many people went to Kilo Village, but this village is too popular, and it must be very commercialized. Mandiu Village is different, where the customs and customs are clearly visible. Moreover, there are indeed many fewer tourists here.
The whole village is very big, and there is even a morning market in the morning. It's a pity that it was almost noon when we came, and the morning market was closed.
