After more than 1,300 years, what finally presented to us is the Yuanyang Hani terraced fields distributed in the Ailao Mountains of one million mu. After the terraces are filled with water in winter, the Yuanyang terraces seem to become a huge mesh mirror under the sky. Every sunrise and sunset, the smooth water surface of the terraces reflects a magical light, which fascinates countless photographers.
The magnificent Bada terraces, the elegant and humane Qingkou terraces, the majestic and precipitous Laohuzui terraces, and the sunrise Duoyishu terraces are the most representative landscape terraces of Yuanyang Hani terraces. Such landscapes are affected by the weather. The impact is greater. When the weather is bad and the humidity is heavy, it is difficult to see the panorama. Therefore, like most scenic spots, winter is also the season with the least rainfall, which is more suitable for taking pictures than March-April.
There are two types of tickets for Yuanyang Rice Terraces
1. The ticket is 100 yuan, that is, each scenic spot can be entered once (the four scenic spots are Qingkou, Bada, Duoyishu, and Laohuzui). The four viewing platforms can only be entered once. Valid on the same day, punching void. It is necessary to pay attention to the reasonable arrangement of the tour time.
2. The weekly ticket is 180 yuan, and you can enter any time within a week, and you can enter the four scenic spots unlimited times within seven days. Concession tickets are half price.
Tickets can only be bought at the Qingkou Visitor Center, and the four viewing platforms do not sell tickets. If you plan to arrange a trip for more than 2-3 days, it is recommended to buy a weekly ticket.
In addition to the four main viewing platforms, there are many other viewing platforms set up on the side of the scenic road. You can see beautiful scenery without tickets.
Terraced fields must go:
(1) Bada Terraced Fields: Bada Scenic Area includes terraced fields of more than 14,000 mu, including Qingkou, Quanfuzhuang, Malizhai, and Zhulu. Standing at the Malizhai Tea Factory to watch the terraced fields, the terraced fields of nearly 10,000 mu are like a sea of slopes, shining with sparkling waves, rushing to the eyes, the scenery is very spectacular. It gradually turns pink and red, and then turns pink and white. It is a place to watch and take photos of terraced fields that change with time.
(2) Tiger Mouth: Tiger Mouth is definitely the highlight of Yuanyang. This is a good place to shoot the sunset. Even if the weather is bad, the magnificent lines of the tiger's mouth will shock you. (Experience: If there is fog in Bada, go to Laohuzui, and if there is fog in Bada, go to Bada). The sunset time is about seven o'clock, and it can occupy an ideal position around four o'clock in the afternoon.
【Arrival method】
Car: There are two counties in Yuanyang, one is Nansha County, which is a new county, and it is at the foot of the mountain. The other is called Xinjie Town, which is an old county town on the mountain. If you want to see Yuanyang terraced fields, you need to go to the old county town of Yuanyang (Xinjie Town), and then transfer to Xinjie Town to enter the scenic spot. It is recommended to go directly to Yuanyang New Street from Kunming. It departs from Kunming South Bus Station at 10:20 every morning and arrives at Xinjie around 5 pm. After arriving at Xinjie Town, there is still a distance, about 10 kilometers, away from Laohuzui Duoyishu and other scenic spots.

The overall accommodation conditions in Yuanyang are relatively poor. There are electric blankets in winter, and you can choose to live in Shengcun. There are many homestays, and the price ranges from 120-200. There are frequent power outages in the village, so be prepared.
2. Magic Paradise, the only tropical rainforest in China - Xishuangbanna
Xishuangbanna is located south of the Tropic of Cancer, and the areas at the same latitude are either deserts, oceans or savannahs. Its particularity is due to the vertical span of Yunnan, so the weather is the same as the tropics, with only comfortable and hot seasons throughout the year. When it was snowing heavily in the north, people in Banna lived nightlife wearing slippers and drinking cold beer.
Banna in December-February is the most suitable for sheltering from the cold. In addition to the climate, there are countless places that can attract attention in Banna, such as Dai style, outdoor resorts, special food, high-end special hotels, etc. Of course, it also has a synonym, the south of the border.
Must play for shelter from the cold:
(1) Wild Elephant Valley: National Nature Reserve. Xishuangbanna is the only habitat for Asian elephants in China. There are domesticated Asian elephants here, and at the same time, you have the opportunity to see wild elephants on the plank road. Tickets for Wild Elephant Valley are 65 yuan per person, 50 yuan for students, and 50 yuan per person for one-way cableway sightseeing.
(2) Primeval Forest Park: Forest Park is located 8 kilometers away from Jinghong. The most distinctive feature in the park is the flying of peacocks and a section of primitive tropical rainforest. For tourists who travel with a large family and want to experience the most primitive tropical rainforest, Primitive Forest Park is the most suitable. (3) Dai Minority Garden: The typical Dai folk house style preserved in the scenic area, as well as the Manchunman Temple with a long history. (5) Xishuangbanna Zhongke Botanical Garden: Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, also known as Menglun Botanical Garden, has more than 3,000 species of tropical and subtropical plants at home and abroad. 3. Millennium Bai Village, "Ham on the Bite of the Tongue" - Dali Nuodeng
If there weren't so many foodies, and the "China on the Bite of the Tongue", I believe that no one would know about this thousand-year-old Bai village "Nuodeng". Nuodeng Ancient Village is located in the valley northwest of Yunlong County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Since the name of "Nuodeng" village has not changed since the Nanzhao period of Tang Dynasty for more than 1,000 years, it is called "Millennium Bai Village". In addition to ham, there are 24 more than 100-year-old protected courtyards and Yuhuang Pavilion. When you come to Nuodeng in winter, you can see how the villagers marinate the famous ham, and it is also the best time to watch Tai Chi lock water.
Nuo Deng must visit:
(1) Nuodeng Ancient Village: The ancient village is located on the mountainside, and it takes an hour to visit and taste the village. There is a salt well at the foot of the village, which is still in use today.

Car: Nuodeng is located in Yunlong County, Dali. If you depart from Kunming, you can take a shuttle bus to the West Passenger Station. There are two buses. The fare is 175-189 yuan/person, about 7.5 hours;
If you start from Dali, the train departs every 40 minutes from 07:30 to 16:30, and the fare is 39 yuan per person; after arriving at Yunlong, you can take a mini-car to Nuodeng, which is about 7 kilometers, and the price is about 15-15 It ranges from 40 yuan.

Nuodeng's overall accommodation conditions are poor. There is an inn on the top of the mountain called Daqingshu Inn. Celebrities live here, only public health. The house price is about 100-120 yuan.
