Huoyan Mountain is located 10 kilometers northeast of Turpan City. The mountain is more than 100 kilometers long and 10 kilometers wide at its widest point. The landmark of Huoyanshan is this giant thermometer. Tourists must come here to take pictures.

In midsummer, when the red sun is in the sky, the reddish-brown mountain is irradiated by the scorching sun, the sandstone is shining brightly, and the hot air flow is rolling up, just like a raging flame, and the tongue of fire touches the sky, so it is also called Flaming Mountain. The thermometer shows that the ground temperature has exceeded 70 degrees Celsius!
Huoyan Mountain has its unique natural features. In addition, in the late Ming Dynasty, Wu Chengen blocked Tang Sanzang from learning scriptures. The connection between the bull and the demon king makes the Flaming Mountain full of magic and becomes a strange mountain in the world. This is the statue of Tang Monk.
