Snow, piece by piece~

Before the plane landed, a large expanse of snow broke into my eyes. Walking out of the cabin door, a gust of cold air hit him unexpectedly. This is the familiar feeling of dryness and coldness in the north! Hi, Snow in the North, long time no see! Hi, Xinjiang, hello, please give me your advice when we meet for the first time!

Fine snowflakes are flying in the air, like dancing elves, making people want to reach out and touch her. Since graduating and moving to Shanghai, I have never seen snow. It may be difficult for children in the north to imagine the temptation of snow to children in the south.

I still remember when I saw snow for the first time that year, I was really like a happy lunatic—running happily on the playground aimlessly, and frantically calling my relatives and friends: "It's snowing! It’s snowing!” But you know what? The snow at that time was only as big as dandruff, and it hadn't fallen to the ground, and the shadows were gone. It wasn't until later that I gradually became familiar with it, and I got used to it and then forgot it. After 4 years, I saw snowflakes flying all over the sky and thick snow again, as if I had returned to that crazy afternoon. This is the snow I love! This is the Xinjiang I miss so much!

Day1 Arrival | Xinjiang on the tip of the tongue - Beitingzi

The first stop when I came to Xinjiang was Beiyuanzi. This is a very Xinjiang-style restaurant with magnificent decoration, and the ceiling lights are like palace lanterns in the palace. As soon as you enter the door, you will be greeted by a girl dressed in Uighur nationality, which is very exotic. The dining table and the stage are together. It is very comfortable to watch the performance while eating, and even go on stage to dance together. I went to Xinjiang restaurants several times in Shanghai before, but none of them were decorated so magnificently.

Before the meal, a very delicate plate was placed on the turntable. There were snow, cows and sheep on the plate. It was very delicate. At first I thought it might be a dessert made of chocolate, but later I found out that it was just a decoration. But I have to say that this decoration is really exquisite. From this, I can guess that the dishes here must be exquisite, and my idea was confirmed later.

Before the dishes are ready, the singing and dancing will be served first. The enthusiastic host and the enthusiastic Xinjiang dance made the atmosphere of the whole restaurant very good, and friends from all over the world gathered together. The restaurant specializes in Xinjiang cuisine, but in order to allow the majority of diners to adapt to Xinjiang cuisine, the dishes have also been improved. Some dishes are a fusion of Sichuan cuisine, Cantonese cuisine, Fujian cuisine, and Beijing cuisine. Not only does it look good, but the taste is also quite good! The people at our table from all corners of the country are full of praise for the dishes. Here are some of the dishes:

Cranberry Hummus: It looks a bit like a cake, but it tastes a little sweet and sour.

Cold Noodles with Chicken Shrimps and Mushrooms: An improved cuisine based on Sichuan cuisine, it tastes spicy and delicious.

Age-appropriate fresh fruit yogurt Gu: pure Xinjiang yogurt, not too sour to eat

Puff pastry roasted leg of lamb: the leg of lamb is wrapped in roasted naan, dipped in dried chili, the crispy naan, the delicate combination of lamb and the aroma of dried chili are delicious

Yanji Chili Fried Pork with Desert Mantou: The desert mantou tastes a bit like the skin of a puff, crispy and sweet, and it is a good choice with chili fried meat or yogurt

Of course, in addition to the appealing dishes, there are many other delicious things, a table is too rich to eat! It’s really going out with a round belly~ When you come to Xinjiang, you must not miss this restaurant~ This is the beginning of our Xinjiang, a feast of food, an embrace of exotic customs, so I can’t help but start to look forward to the future the itinerary.

Day2 Karamay City Day Tour
Tracing Karamay's past and present | Karamay Exhibition (Museum) Hall

To understand a city, the first thing to do is to start with its history. So, on our new day of reorganization, the first thing we came to was the Karamay Exhibition Hall.

Speaking of the first impression of Xinjiang, it is probably safe. Security checks are required when entering restaurants, security checks are required when entering hotels, and security checks are required when entering exhibition halls. No, the security uncle asked us to go through security checks carefully before letting us into the exhibition hall.

The Karamay Exhibition Hall is divided into an inner hall and an outer hall. The inner hall mainly introduces the history of Karamay's oilfield development systematically. When you open the curtain, you can see the big words written on the wall: "The first large oil field in New China, Karamay Oilfield. Every time you walk into an exhibition hall, you will know more about Karamay. This is the beautiful place we are about to visit. Karamay.

The outside of the exhibition hall mainly displays the offices and cellars in the early stage of oilfield development. Seeing the crude decoration and furniture and household items in the cellar, I can't help but think that the conditions for starting a business in the past were really too difficult. Fortunately, life is getting better now, and people richer.

Cultural and Creative Center|Cultural and Creative Park

After learning about Karamay's past and present, we arrived at Karamay Machinery Cultural and Creative Park, where we learned about Karamay's purple sand culture and iron pot culture.

First of all, let me ask you, do you know how many colors purple sand has? Are you like me, thinking that purple sand should be purple? It was not until the Karamay Purple Clay Museum that it was popularized. Originally, there were five colors of purple clay: red clay, vermilion clay, purple clay, green clay and segmented clay.

It is understood that Karamay’s purple sand ore mud traveled in the Jurassic era and has a very, very long history. Not only purple sand pots are displayed in the store, but also various purple sand works and raw purple sand mines are displayed. What impressed me the most was the "Desert Beauty" exhibited in the museum. The "Desert Beauty" may seem ordinary at first glance, just like a beautiful woman. When you look closely, you will find that this statue is very knowledgeable. For example, her head is shaped like a camel caravan climbing on the sand dunes The brain looks like a pumping machine, and the cheeks are also exquisite. Welcome everyone to study. At present, this "desert beauty" is the only designation for Karamay Zisha.

Some people may say that the things in this museum are too high-end, and ordinary people may not be able to afford them. Don't worry about the cultural park being so big, there will always be places where you can set your feet. No, Carat Mingsha next door is much more confident. A set of things is cheaper than 200, which is affordable for most people. There are also some pretty good flowerpots for growing flowers and plants.

In addition to the purple sand hall, there is also an iron pot hall in the Cultural Park. I am afraid I will not forget the iron pot boiled eggs that the boss in the iron pot hall gave us to try. The taste seems to be different from what we usually eat. The museum is also very interesting. There are teapots made of iron, mandarin duck pots, etc. It is also interesting to see if you don’t buy them.

City Art Center | Karamay Big Oil Bubble

Not too far from the Cultural Park, there is another interesting building, the Karamay Oil Pao. Although I haven't seen the appearance of oil bubbles before, I have probably figured it out after seeing the building.

This is a magnificent building, composed of the ruins of the Ke No. 1 well and more than 200 oil bubble groups. It is very interesting to see the surrounding buildings and yourself staring at the oil bubbles on the oil bubbles. If you are driving by, stop and have a look.

See oil bubbles at close range | Black Oil Mountain

I just said that I have never seen a big oil bubble, but when I turned around, I saw a real oil bubble. The entrance of the scenic spot looks a bit like a container, but it is probably the shape of an oil refinery workshop. In this white snow, the combination of black and yellow is particularly conspicuous. The visitor center looks like a piece of tubular objects. From then on, a professional guide will take us to visit Heiyou Mountain.

"Karamay" means "black oil" in Uighur, so this natural petroleum asphalt mound is called "Black Oil Mountain". You can see bubbling oil pools in Heiyoushanhai. In the innermost big oil pool, it seemed a little calm, but when everyone was bouncing on the spot together, the oil pool seemed to be able to receive the signal and start to respond. At first we only had 4 girls dancing together, and Yuji didn’t respond at all, but when everyone danced together, Yuji began to change.

Although our basic necessities of life are inseparable from oil, we used to always feel that oil refining or crude oil was a bit out of reach. I didn’t expect to be able to get close contact here. It’s really amazing. experience.

Although our basic necessities of life are inseparable from oil, we used to always feel that oil refining or crude oil was a bit out of reach. I didn’t expect to be able to get close contact here. It’s really amazing. experience.

The filming location of Manghuangji | Ji's Film and Television City

This is a scenic spot we decided to go to temporarily. Originally, we were going straight to the Wuerhe area. It happened that it was early in the morning and passed a good place, so we decided to stop and visit. If you have been to Hengdian, or to the Western Film and Television City of Beibao, Ningxia Town, maybe there is nothing to see in this film and television city whose name you are not familiar with, right? That would be dead wrong.

If you haven't heard of Ji's Film and Television City, maybe you should have watched "Reckless Desolation" starring Hawick Lau and Ou Wang. At that time, the pair of CPs were also rumored to be a scandal. So, is it a bit impressive? ? This scenic spot is the main shooting location of this film. In the film and television corridor of the scenic spot, you can still see many film and television works that have been filmed. Only when you see the scene will you suddenly realize, "oh~ it was filmed here, no wonder There is a feeling of déjà vu.”

My favorite is probably the two mammoths at the entrance of the scenic spot. They stand at the two entrances. They are so powerful that people are a little afraid to approach them, and they have a feeling of time travel. Even some buildings in the film and television city are very tasteful, giving people an ancient atmosphere. Although the training ground in the distance is almost invisible covered by snow, the smell of the battlefield can still be smelled. I especially like the buildings in the tribe and the cloth strips hanging between the tribal buildings. It always reminds people of the cloth strips fluttering in ancient TV dramas, and then turn around to see the scene where the protagonist appears, as if "Looking for the crowd" She Baidu thousands of times, suddenly looking back at the artistic conception that the person is in a dimly lit place".

The most worth mentioning is that tickets are not charged here now, just go in when the car arrives. If you switch to other places, such a film and television city may charge a ticket of about 100 yuan, so hurry up and take a look while the ticket is confiscated!

Day3 The uncanny workmanship of nature
Millennium legend | Populus euphratica forest in Wuerhe

"Live a thousand years and not die, die a thousand years and not fall, fall a thousand years and not die"

Just listening to the introduction is a kind of respect for Populus euphratica. Before that, I have seen countless pictures of the golden Populus euphratica forest, and I almost went to the Populus euphratica forest once, but in the end I passed by. Unexpectedly, the first time I visited Populus euphratica Forest was in winter in Xinjiang.

The Populus euphratica forest in winter lacks the gorgeousness of autumn and more simplicity like ink. The snow-covered Populus euphratica forest has changed from gold to white, from oil painting to ink painting. The tour guide said that if you walk lightly and observe carefully enough, you can still see small animals in the jungle. It's a pity that we are all children who have never seen the world. How can we care about tiptoeing when we see such a beautiful scene, and jumped into the Populus euphratica forest happily.

Only when I approached did I find that the dry and vigorous branches on the branches of Populus euphratica, the branches with traces of resisting sandstorms with their bodies, wrote the vicissitudes of history. It is precisely because of them that the civilization of the Silk Road can continue, and the Senegalese civilization continues to thrive. This is a living fossil in Xinjiang! The whistling wind blew away my thoughts and sent us away as well. Thinking about it, I will meet you next time in autumn~

When Yadan landform meets canyon landform | Baiyanghe Grand Canyon

I have seen the Yadan landform in Dunhuang, and I have seen many kinds of Grand Canyons, but it is the first time I have seen the natural scenery of the Yadan landform and the Grand Canyon. This is Baiyanghe Grand Canyon, a scenic spot located in Karamay, Xinjiang, more than 100 kilometers away from the urban area.

In fact, since we entered Karamay, Karamay has been snowing non-stop. Even the bus driver said that we are noble people. As the so-called auspicious snow heralds a good year, there has not been much snow here in the first ten days before we came. Here comes the first heavy snow in Karamay in 2019. Wherever we go, there will be snow. No, when we arrived at the Baiyanghe Grand Canyon, the snow began to grow again. In addition to the snow that had accumulated for several days before, the river bed of the canyon was almost filled with snowflakes, leaving only a little edge of the rock and the view point. King Plank Road.

Even so, you can still feel the magnificence of the scenery. After the snow, the Baiyanghe Grand Canyon has faded from the gorgeous colors of the past, and has another unique beauty, which is more lonely and mighty. Although it does not speak, it transmits the voice of the millennium to our hearts.

Wanting to get more scenery, we walked to the plank road of the Grand Canyon alone. Walking down from the viewing plank road, you can get close to the river bed. There are not many details covered by the snow. Only some places faintly reveal the traces here. I left in a hurry with a little regret. We will meet again next time. ,Right?

The Paradise of the Rock Pickers|Urho Devil City

This is the second Devil City I have been to. Compared with the Devil City in Dunhuang, the Devil City in Wuerhe attracted me deeply at the first sight.

On the way around the entrance of the scenic spot to the parking lot, when the bus passed the gate of Devil City, I noticed a pair of colorful eyes on the gate, which looked a bit like the eyes of a devil, but you would not think it was evil, but There is an indescribable attraction, and I can't help but look at it a few more times.

This is the Urho Devil City that we are about to explore! There are many places called Devil City, but only the Urho Devil City in Xinjiang is known as the World Devil City. It is also known as Urho Wind City and has a typical Yardang landform.

The Devil City is called the Devil City only because there is a dead silence in it, with patches of loess and no grass growing. It is said that every night, there will be the whining of the undead here. However, we are of course fearless as a group traveler, and the few days we arrived coincided with the heavy snowfall in Wuerhe, and those loess sand dunes with hideous masks were hidden under the white snow.

Fortunately, the hills of Devil City are still relatively solid, and they are not completely covered by snow. If you look closely, you can still find some outlines. You will be surprised to find that some of these hills are like eagles spreading their wings, some are like Egyptian pyramids, and some are like Angkor Wat in Cambodia. It is no wonder that it was named the first place among the "Three Most Beautiful Yadans in China" by China National Geographic. Even the movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" came here to shoot.

Day4 Skier's Paradise
Fall in love with snow sports | Bingfeng Ski Resort

"Is skiing the same as skating?"

"It's definitely different!"

"I'm asking about the principle, such as braking and turning, is the force of the foot the same?"

"Not the same." "Same."

Everyone's answers are surprisingly inconsistent. Perhaps only by experiencing it yourself can you know the difference. This day of skiing should be the happiest time in the past few days. We not only skied, but also played snow circle. I think we will never forget that the six of us pulled each other's snow circles together and rushed down from the top of the mountain to become a snowman. It may be difficult to experience such joy again for a long time.

Bingfeng Ski Resort is a 4S-level ski resort in Karamay. As the name suggests, the construction inside is actually quite complete, including junior high school and advanced ski tracks and snow circles and other entertainment facilities. We children from the south have arrived at the ski resort, how can we easily hide in the house and turn on the heater, and we have to drag our ski equipment to the ski resort clumsily!

A few of us who don't know how to ski helped each other put on our ski shoes and ran to the primary track. How should I put it? It can only be said that a newborn calf is not afraid of tigers. It dared to go to the track without standing firmly on the flat ground. Not surprisingly, it fell a lot on the track. I sat down on the ground and couldn't get up. I lost one of my shoes and didn't put it on. After repeated tossing and turning several times, I finally got up from the track. Of course, I still rushed down without giving up. This time I was much more stable than last time, but I couldn’t brake at one third of the way and I still fell again. Fortunately, they were relatively gentle and nothing serious. fault.

The first time I experienced skiing, I was envious of Xinjiang~ If you want to ask me why I am so courageous, of course it is because I have played skating before. It feels similar in theory, but skiing is still much more difficult than skating. However, my friend said that with the guidance of a professional coach, the basic movements can be learned in about an hour. Next time, I will sign up for a course system to learn to ski~

The public, who was tossed by skiing, decided to try snow circle. Snow rings are difficult to understand, but when I say tires, you will understand what they are. This is a skiing project that does not require mastery of technology at all. You only need to sit on the snow ring and tighten the rope to have fun. Our greatest joy this time was that the weather just turned bad. When we rushed downhill, we were blown all over with snow. Although it was very embarrassing, it was really interesting. I want to play it 30 times more!

I soaked in hot springs and ate barbecue on the edge of the snow | Alashan Hot Springs

Do you know what is the happiest thing after skiing? Hot springs of course! After skiing, many parts of the body are sore. Of course, it is most enjoyable to go to the beautiful hot spring to relax.

Leaving the ski resort, the car ran all the way to the Alashan Nursing Home. Don't be surprised, we didn't go to visit the elderly, it's actually a hot spring, the hot spring there is known as "the hot spring water is smooth and smooth", and it has become a place for many people of status to recuperate. Of course, it is open to the outside world, and you can still live there. The water in the hotel rooms is hot spring water.

This nursing home is built on the mountainside, and there is a section of the road that even cars cannot drive up, and can only be reached on foot. It is also because it is at a high place, so you can look far ahead. At night, there is a touch of blue and a touch of orange in the sky, and then the sea of clouds billows up, which is very spectacular. Originally, I didn't want to go out after putting my luggage, but I heard that the surrounding area is beautiful, so I couldn't help but come out and release the drone. At that moment, I just want to exclaim "oh, my god!"

Fortunately, I didn't fly for too long, and I didn't freeze myself stupidly. After soaking in the hot spring, I was completely exhausted~ The hot spring at night is very comfortable~ The swimming pool in the suite is also very private. The swimming pool, kitchen, and living room are all next to each other, very close, so a hot spring floating dinner is also within reach. It feels really great to drink tea and eat barbecue while taking a bath in the hot spring! If you feel that the house is too stuffy, you can open the curtains, the pool is connected to the outside, and you can enjoy the snow scene at the same time. It is really a novel experience! I'm playing in the snow and soaking in the hot spring at -12 degrees below zero. Do you want to join?

Day5 Exploring Dushanzi
Oil Workers Club | Dushanzi Exhibition Hall

To be honest, I am not a fan of exhibition halls, but every time I go to a city, if I have enough time, I may choose to go to the exhibition hall. Each exhibition hall has its magical charm. For me, the most fascinating part of the Dushanzi Exhibition Hall is the three-dimensional cinema sand table model created by using sound and light.

When the sound is heard, the lights are turned on, the explanation is matched, and the data is run, you will be moved and proud of its achievements over the years. This place is also a place that our tour guide is very familiar with. He knows every exhibit in the museum, and he knows every corner and every change.

The predecessor of Dushanzi Exhibition Hall was the Oil Workers Club. The story here is inseparable from a girl named Yang Zhenglu, who is the youngest daughter of General Yang Hucheng. She was only 22 years old when she died, and she was still unmarried. In order to protect the geological map, she was held tightly in her arms, and everyone in Dushanzi regarded her as a hero. Here, we not only learned about the development of Dushanzi, but also learned about the relevant deeds of the oil workers. In the exhibition hall, we saw a sentence that impressed us deeply: "Eat three, sleep five, work sixteen", which means eating for 3 hours a day , sleep 5 hours, work 16 hours of 24-hour division method, the fighting spirit of Dushanzi people is worthy of admiration. Compared with this, our 996 working system seems to have nothing to cry about? We left the exhibition hall with a little shock and a little thought.

Dushanzi Grand Canyon

What can I say about this place? It is the first scene of Duku Highway, the most beautiful highway in the country. Both "Kyushu Misty Record" and "Flying Life" have been filmed here. It is not only fairy-like, but also down-to-earth.

The scenic spot is very well developed, not just a lonely canyon, but there are many interesting entertainment facilities at the entrance, such as banana boats. Speaking of which, I used to play banana boat on water, but I didn’t know that this project can also be played on ice. When the trailer makes a sharp turn and is covered in snow, I really hope that it will drive slowly, but when it really slows down, you hope it will Can drive faster and turn a few more turns.

If you want to go down the mountain quickly, the scenic spot will provide a simple way, that is to take a slide lock. With a click, you can go directly to the core part of the scenic spot from above, where there are viewing plank roads and glass plank roads.

Since the glass walkway became popular, it seems that all scenic spots that can build glass bridges have been built, and many glass walkways are just for excitement. The glass plank road in the Dushanzi Grand Canyon also combines the special terrain here, and the glass plank road spans the canyon, allowing people to appreciate the canyon scenery at a closer distance, which feels very meaningful. However, even if you wear shoe covers in snowy weather, it is still very slippery, so you must pay attention to safety when visiting!

In the end, I couldn't help but go to the plank road to look at the canyon again. The mountains in this canyon seem to have many giant brushes stained with ink neatly arranged together, and they are like a choir in evening gowns lined up to sing a chorus. They are singing about the beautiful mountains and rivers of the motherland and the beauty of Xinjiang. .

conclusion

The white horse flies, the sun and the moon fly like a shuttle. Unknowingly, we stayed in Karamay for a full 5 days. We were amazed by the uncanny workmanship of nature. There are still many places waiting for us to explore together in the beautiful Xinjiang. The next stop, Shihezi, we will see you there~

about food

We all know that Xinjiang has a lot of delicious food, such as Xinjiang's fruits, dried fruits, pilaf, and yogurt. In Xinjiang, people live a life of not being able to lose weight every day. Who makes the food here so delicious? We always eat until we can’t sit still, and then we bring some fruit and yogurt back to the hotel, chatting in short-sleeved clothes, not to mention how comfortable it is~ Then, I will mention a few restaurants that I have eaten in Xinjiang and thought they were not bad. .

North courtyard

This place was introduced in detail at the beginning of the travel notes, so I won’t spend any more time here to recount it for you.

Shepherd's pilaf

Don't laugh at me for not pursuing. In Xinjiang, my favorite is this pilaf. The restaurant is so ordinary that it cannot be more ordinary, and there is no good decoration or rich cuisine. The restaurant only sells 2 things, rice and lamb. But it's this simple hand-picked rice, but I eat it with relish. There is unlimited supply of rice and cold dishes in the store, you can eat as much as you want.

Address: No. 8-1-9, 8-2-9, Deputy 8-1-9, Karamayita Mountain Road

Per capita: 28 yuan

Forty-Nine Meatball Soup

This is a gourmet restaurant that is said to be absolutely unmissable on National Highway 312, but I don’t think it’s an exaggerated name. The restaurant may have won many gourmet honors, and even made outstanding contributions in the fight against ice and snow, and earthquake relief. The meatball soup looks very ordinary, it tastes a bit like Huainan beef soup, but it is not the same. The beef bone soup here not only contains beef balls, sweet potato vermicelli, asafoetida, and even some herbs. It looks ordinary, but it tastes extraordinary. Now this restaurant has become a chain restaurant in Xinjiang, and it should be available in many places. A serving of meatball soup is only more than 20 yuan.

Aili Catering Metropolis

This is a very interesting restaurant, how to say interesting? There is a building at the gate, and after entering the door, I realized that this is a food city, with fast food and hot pot next to it, and we ate stir-fried vegetables. When the door is opened, the scene suddenly becomes magnificent, which is completely inconsistent with the small house at the door. The decoration has the feeling of a European-style palace, and there are still jumping parrots hanging on the branches. The food in this restaurant is very delicious. It is the cleanest we have eaten in the past few days, and almost all of them are CD-ROMs.

Address: No. 18 Daqing West Road, Dushanzi District, Karamay
