foreword

During the more than ten days in Xinjiang, I was moved by the vastness and magnificence of Xinjiang almost all the time.

I never thought that I would come to Xinjiang in this life. When it comes to Xinjiang, I only know the desert, Tianshan snow lotus, and at most, mutton skewers and big plate chicken.

It was by chance that I came to these outdoor websites and came into contact with the concept of heavy equipment and hiking, and then I realized that Xinjiang is the second most beautiful place in China after Tibet.

I am very envious of these donkey friends who play heavy equipment hiking, and they intend to follow suit, and many of them are even retired and semi-retired aunts and uncles. I think that my physical strength should not lose to them, but I am a little troublesome. , When I learned more about repacking and hiking, it’s not just as simple as carrying a sleeping bag for camping, but also carrying tents, moisture-proof pads and many other equipment. Wait until you build your own wild fire and cook! Instead of simply bringing some dry food. I feel tired cooking a meal at home! So I quit.

It’s not that I don’t have the experience of sleeping in the wild. It was many years ago when the company was first established. I took turns sleeping in the countryside with my colleagues to take care of the company’s construction site. In summer nights, I laid a mat and a blanket to sleep on the construction site. Although you can watch Looking at the stars or something, but there is not much romantic feeling, because the thoughts are all focused on worrying about thieves coming to steal things.

So I decided to go on a regular tour. Unfortunately, it was either high temperature or rainy everywhere in the south. The railway map was adjusted during the summer, and the ticket source was cut off. It has become difficult to reach, but I was surprised to find that there seems to be only one place - Xinjiang, which I can still go to. So, by accident, I came to Xinjiang.

Because the time is too long and the length of the article is too long, I have to write it in chapters, about ten chapters, or combine them into one chapter after I finish writing.

Day 2 Tianshan Tianchi

On the second day, I went to Tianshan Tianchi. This Tianshan Tianchi is only 95 kilometers away from Urumqi. It is almost the most convenient transportation among all tourist attractions in Xinjiang. However, it is not easy for outsiders to go there. Find a way to get there, that is to take the shuttle bus that departs at seven or eight o'clock at the entrance of China Southern Airlines Pearl International Hotel and another entrance called "Nigong Stadium" (this time is equivalent to five or six o'clock in the mainland, and This section of the road takes two hours), in fact, this should be a chartered car of each tour group, and individual passengers seem to be able to buy a ticket separately, but instead of taking a car alone, you might as well just go up the mountain with their group Come on, because this car only goes to the gate of the scenic spot, and there are more than 30 kilometers from the gate of the scenic spot to the actual scenic spot! You have to sit for nearly an hour to get to the actual scenic spot! Moreover, there is still a shuttle bus that needs to be purchased separately! You have to spend your own time queuing up to buy a ticket and queuing up for a ride. Now is the peak tourist season, I can't guarantee how long this time will be delayed.

As for what kind of shuttle bus you can take at the entrance of People's Park and Hongshan Hotel on Baidu Encyclopedia, I feel that it may be outdated information, because no matter how you search, you can't find ticket information. It is not recommended to take a bus from any passenger station to Fukang City and then transfer to Fukang City. I think it is too time-consuming.

You can also directly book a package that includes through tickets + tickets + section tickets on major travel websites. This is essentially a group ticket for various one-day tours.

On the way to Tianshan Tianchi, the tour guide told us proudly: Do you know the three types of tour groups in Xinjiang? Economic group, quality group, pure play group. Do you know what kind of regiment we are? We are pure play group! There is no shopping, no going to any meaningless places, and the time is long. The most important thing is that we use special passages to enter and exit the scenic spot!

Afterwards, it turned out that she really didn't brag, at least in Tianshan Tianchi. We departed from China Southern Airlines Pearl International Hotel at 8 o'clock and arrived at the gate of the scenic spot at 10 o'clock. After picking up the tickets, we didn't go to one side to queue up for the bus like other tourists, but went directly to the other side and took our car and went up the mountain. It is a bus of the same model and color, but we use a special passage. Then I arrived at the actual scenic spot at eleven o'clock sharp, and then returned after four o'clock in the afternoon. The actual time in the scenic spot was five hours. When I returned, I didn’t find our car at first. After asking the staff, I asked me to go back to the ramp to queue for the car. I almost went to the queue. At this time, the tour guide called and asked me to come to the parking lot next to it. Get on the bus directly, they are all buses of the same model and color, but our bus does not drive to the queue to pick up passengers like other cars, and our people do not queue up, just walk to the bus and get on the bus and leave up. After I got on the bus, I said that we are really VIPs, and the tour guide proudly said: We are VIPs among VIPs! hehe

Well, then we are ready to go. Here are some important things to remind us. The tour guide reminded us that there is no place to eat in Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Area, so our group meal is arranged after the return trip. It is eaten at five o'clock in the afternoon, because the meal time is so late, so it is best to bring some dry food to the mountain to eat. However, the information that "there is no place to eat in Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Area" is not entirely accurate. In fact, when I took a mountain bike and took the cableway to the viewing platform on the middle of Maya Mountain, I found that there were some snacks sold there, but this kind of place Definitely can't eat a group meal. So it is best to bring some dry food with you. In addition, don't carry too heavy luggage, anyway, you still have to go back to the hotel in Urumqi after you go down the mountain, so just put it in the hotel.

This is here, China Southern Airlines Pearl International Hotel

Early morning in Urumqi, busy tourism

Then arrived at the gate of Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Area at ten o'clock

This is the ticket office at the gate of the scenic spot. When you arrive here, you will feel like you are coming to war. Not to mention the huge crowds, there are also various checkpoints. However, it is worthwhile to think of the vast world after entering the scenic spot.

I remember that I said before that there are still more than 30 kilometers from this gate to the actual scenic spot, and it takes 50 minutes to get there by a shuttle bus that needs to be purchased separately. However, I searched the Internet and found that ten years ago it seemed That’s not the case. At that time, the gate of the scenic spot seemed to be in the actual scenic spot, and there was no need to take an extra shuttle bus.

Why did it become like this now? Before I came here, I saw a lot of comments on the Internet and said angrily: This is why Xinjiang locals deliberately moved the good gate to more than 30 kilometers away in order to cheat people and kill people, and they charged a lot of tolls! And there is a separate fee!

Indeed, not only Tianchi Lake in Tianshan is like this, but many places we are going to go to later, such as Hemu Village, Kanas, Sailimu Lake, Nalati, and Bayinbulak, are all such scenic spots. For dozens of kilometers, you need to buy a separate ticket and take a shuttle bus to get in, and there are multi-section shuttle buses with multiple charges!

It’s not good to comment on whether it’s really cheating people or killing people. Maybe it can be considered from both good and bad aspects. Maybe it’s really for the sake of environmental protection as the scenic spot advertises, so the gate is moved dozens of kilometers away, so as not to You all drove your private cars into the scenic spot to pollute and destroy the environment.

However, among the above-mentioned scenic spots, there are several that you only need to pay for, and a private car can also let you drive into the scenic spots! This makes people dumbfounded.

Moreover, because some netizens hated Wujiwu, they turned their anger on Tianshan Tianchi itself, calling it a "little broken lake"! Our tour guide also said aggrievedly: Last time, there was a young man who scolded her, "You tour guide is crazy! It took us hundreds of dollars to see this small broken lake that can be seen in a few minutes! I want to give You have a bad review!" Haha, in fact, these friends can't play, of course this is not a "little broken lake", even if it is a broken lake, it is also a "big broken lake", right? Moreover, a few minutes is definitely not enough, in fact, it took me a full five hours to barely complete the circle.

Before I came, I read Xinjiang's travel strategy for several days, but Xinjiang is too big! There are so many places to play! Those strategies made me dizzy. If I tried to grasp all the information before leaving, I am afraid that there will be no results for a few years, and I will never be able to finish reading those thousands of strategies. In fact, I have read the strategy for several days and just have a general understanding of Tianshan Tianchi, even I am already on the car to Tianshan Tianchi, I am still not sure how to play, because Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Area The Maya Mountain inside, I didn’t know that there is such a place in the scenic spot before I came here, and it has to be charged separately. The car + cableway up the mountain is 220 yuan! I was hesitant to go there, and even wondered if it was another attraction? But the tour guide clearly told us that there are three main ways to play in Tianchi Tianchi: 220 yuan to go to Maya Mountain, 100 yuan to take a boat tour of the lake, and 25 yuan to enter the West Queen Mother Temple (you can pass by the lakeside trail or by boat) ). And it is obvious that the ornamental value is directly proportional to the price. After the tour guide finished speaking, everyone said they wanted to go to Maya Mountain, so I decided to go to Maya Mountain without any hesitation. It turned out that this decision was absolutely correct for me!

Because although this Maya Mountain is just an inconspicuous and insignificant hill in the entire Tianshan Mountains, it is also 3056 meters above sea level! It is the highest point in the entire circle of mountains around Tianchi. You must know that Mount Emei, the first mountain in central Sichuan, is only 3099 meters! (Although Gongga Mountain is in the Sichuan administrative region, it should actually be regarded as a Tibetan mountain in the Tibetan area) And I didn’t realize until I traveled around northern Xinjiang that this Maya Mountain is the only one for us ordinary people in the entire Tianshan Mountains. The peaks that can be climbed to the top are almost the only real Tianshan Mountains that ordinary people can get close to. In fact it was only developed a few years ago.

However, people with poor physical strength don’t necessarily have to go to Maya Mountain. Although you can take the cableway to the viewing platform halfway up the mountain, you will be very tired if you go up, and you may feel tired if you don’t go up. Not reconciled, I feel that the 220 yuan is not worth the money, so the two ends of the first mouse will affect the mood. And there is a way of playing that the tour guide doesn't mention much, that is, walking along the trail around the lake is also very good, and there is no extra charge.

Then we took the ticket and started to take the shuttle bus (actually the car we took when we came by ourselves) into the mountain. I heard that other shuttle buses into the mountain have to transfer again at some folk village (just to attract people in disguise) You go shopping), but our shuttle bus went directly to the parking lot adjacent to the lake.

On the way into the mountain, the guide kept reminding us what "XX scenery" was on the left and right, but I didn't see it clearly in a flash, and I didn't have time to take pictures. Anyway, compared with the mountain later, they are all small hills It doesn't matter if it's just water, it's probably something like this, what is it called "Little Tianchi"

And some creeks and waterfalls

To be honest, almost all my impressions of Tianshan when I was young came from the martial arts novel "Seven Swords Under Tianshan", although I also knew that the "Tianshan School" was just a fiction, and in fact I didn't know it at all. After reading the novel, I only saw some vague images and pictures about Tianshan Mountain, but in my mind, Tianshan Mountain is very fairy, it is the sacred mountain in my dream, but when I looked up and saw the bare mountain along the way Qiu, I was a little disappointed at first: Although there may not be people living on this mountain, it is not so desolate, right?

It wasn't until the car was getting higher and there were more trees on the mountain that there was some improvement.

This kind of mountain is a bit different from the mountains in the mainland. The mountain is not very steep, and there are not many trees. There are some grass slopes and coniferous forests in the mountains.

I don’t know why the photo of this winding mountain road looks like a miniature model of a tilt-shift photo. It may be caused by the speed of movement.

Then it was almost eleven o’clock when I finally arrived at the parking lot near the lake, did you see those green buses in the queue next to it?

In fact, there is still a distance of several hundred meters from here to the lake, and you need to take a 10 or 20 yuan battery car! Maybe it's for the sake of environmental protection, but I can also understand the feelings of many tourists who have come here and scolded Xinjiang's tourism management authorities for cheating and killing people. This battery car really shouldn't be charged extra! However, it takes less than ten minutes to walk up from here, and there is no need for ordinary people to take this battery car. But it is an uphill road, the elderly with poor physical strength should take a battery car

Then I finally arrived at the Tianchi Lake. If you just take a selfie by the lake like ordinary tourists, then this is of course a "little broken lake" that can be seen in a few minutes.

See the snow-capped mountains over there? That is Bogda Peak! 5445 meters above sea level! It is the highest peak of East Tianshan!

And this Tianshan Tianchi is located in the middle of Tianshan Mountain, with an altitude of 1910 meters!

Then we took the shuttle bus and took the cableway to Maya Mountain. Note that the uphill shuttle here is different from the previous one into the mountain, and there is an additional charge of 220 yuan! But it doesn't matter, friends in Xinjiang, I just sent you money.

This is the cableway station, where the view becomes wider. There were a lot of people queuing at the cableway station. Our tour guide was very conscientious and had been yelling at other people not to let them join our team. After going down the mountain, I said to her: I want to give you a six-star praise! hehe

From the cable car, you can see the snow-capped mountains closer. When you look at the Bogda Peak by the lake, it doesn’t seem to be very high. It doesn’t look like it’s 5445 meters. It may be because it’s too far away or because The altitude of the lake is also very high. But now, as the climb goes higher, the snow peak feels like it is going up higher and higher.

The aerial photo taken on the cableway car, because of the reflection, the color is not good-looking, but let’s feel it

Then finally arrived at the viewing platform halfway up the mountain, and the view was widened.

Bitan and Wangqing as ice

This has become my famous phrase, I can use it wherever I go

Trying to take a wide angle panorama, but there is always jaggedness. I don’t know why most of the wide-angle photos taken in Xinjiang have jagged edges. At first, I thought it was caused by too fast or too slow panning speed, but there was still no improvement after adjusting the speed. I also thought that the geomagnetic environment in Xinjiang is different? But in the end I finally understood that it may be because Xinjiang's horizon is too vast, and the background depth of the scene is too deep. There's no way around this, let's make do with it

The one next to it is the viewing platform halfway up the mountain. Most people take the cableway here and stop going up, but we still have to go up. It's almost 12 o'clock now

You can see the snow-capped mountains closer

This is the other side of the mountain

This is the observation deck a little below

The position is getting higher and higher, and the lake below is getting smaller and smaller

Along the way, there are also many jagged and strange rocks similar to the famous mountains in the mainland.

There is still a long way to go up. I also find it strange that the lake below is 1910 meters, and Maya Mountain is 3056 meters. I took a mountain bike and took the cableway to the middle of the mountain. It is said that there should be only a few hundred meters of height difference from the viewing platform to the top of the mountain, but I walked all the way to the end. It took an hour and a half. It may be that one is because I have not finished reaching the top of the mountain, and I continue to go forward to the end of nowhere, and the other is that I walked all the way, looking east, west, east, and west. If I just walked with my head buried, maybe an hour would be enough.

If you don't climb Tianshan Mountain, you are not a hero

Tianshan Photo Tour

Rugged rocks like Huangshan

deep abyss

single man

My majestic big Tianshan

Tianshan Road is long

To be honest, I didn’t realize until now that I witnessed the landform of Tianshan Mountain with many soothing grass slopes and forests among the rocks. , the word "down" in "Seven Swords Down to Tianshan Mountain" is used very well. Only the gentle grassy slopes of Tianshan Mountain can make the characters in the novel "down" with ease. This "down" method Only chic enough. If it is those famous steep mountains in the inland, such as Mount Emei, Mount Hua, Mount Tai, Mount Huang, would it be possible for you to "come down" so easily? Could it be that he flew down from the sacrificial cliff?

In addition, the author may have never been to Tianshan at all based on his age and region. I thought Tianshan was a snow-capped mountain, so how could there be people living there? But he was also fooled, because many places in Tianshan Mountain are lush with water, grass and trees, and it is really possible to live there. Of course, Tianshan faction and the like are just made up.

I don't know if you have ever made a movie here? But then we are going to the Wuhe Devil City, where there is really a filming location for "Seven Swords Under Tianshan"

magnificent panorama

Here is a higher viewing platform, and this is the last viewing platform with a camera. If you go up, you can only pay attention to your own safety.

The lake below is getting smaller and smaller

Going further up, we reached a dangerous pass similar to a line of sky

After passing this pass, the road starts to become gentle when you go up, even the railings are gone, and you are approaching the top of the mountain.

Great view of mountains and small mountains

Looking at Tianchi from the top of Tianshan Mountain

In fact, we have not yet reached the highest point here, and it is far from the end, but we can already see those majestic snow-capped mountains and meadows from the other side.

There is a road on the right to another viewing platform, but that is not the main direction. The things you see are different, but you can also see a big grass slope

Then we're going to keep going

Here you can see a lot of these jagged rocks

Now we're going to follow this road all the way to the end

Walking to the end of the trail, the road was blocked by warning signs, but we can see that the road continues to go down the mountain, but there is no need for us to go down there, it should be impassable, it may lead to the trail around the lake, but behind We'll know it's six or seven hours to go back that way

Now we are going to the end of the highest point that the path leads to. You can see some tourists taking photos with the snow-capped mountains there.

Finally I got here too! From here, you can enjoy the panoramic view of the 5,445-meter Bogda Snow Peak, the highest peak in the East Tianshan Mountains! Looking at the majestic snow-capped mountains that stretch for thousands of miles, the vast and gentle grassy slopes under the snow-capped mountains (it should be called a meadow), the long-standing streams on the big meadows, and the dark green forests between the peaks, I felt a sense of wonder. A strong feeling of wanting to stay here forever!

I have been to some places in my life, but no matter how beautiful the place is, I just want to go home as soon as possible after being tired. I have never had such a strong feeling of wanting to stay forever.

I took a lot of wide-angle panoramic photos, but no matter how I took them, there were jagged edges because the background was too wide and far-reaching. Let's make do

I want to inscribe a poem, but these rocks are broken and it is not easy to inscribe.

So I wrote a poem on the stone pillars of these viewing platforms, and the book was given to brothers of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang as a souvenir:

Tianshan vast sea of clouds

Once the seven swords came out of Hanguan

Across the Western Regions for 100,000 Li

Qin Shi Mingyue shines on me

After finishing writing, I suddenly realized, isn’t this the 21st century version of Zhang Qian’s mission to the Western Regions?

Big brothers from Tianshan School come here for a visit! Ha ha ha ha

In fact, there is no sea of clouds, only this small cloud

But in the following journey, we will continue to see the majestic and magnificent scenery of "Tianshan Mountain's vast sea of clouds"!

It's not 100,000 miles, but counting the long-distance mileage back and forth, the mileage of various transitions, and the scattered treks in the scenic area, there are still 20,000 miles.

Then we went back the same way and went down the mountain by car and cableway

Finally, take a few more wide-angle panoramas

Then I went down to the lake at exactly three o'clock, and I was going to take a boat again. Just go down the path next to the stone tablet with "Tianchi" written on it.

When I came to the lake, I found that there were a lot of people waiting in line to take the boat. I was worried that there was not enough time, so I asked a few people who looked like other tour guides, and they told me that it took more than an hour to go back and forth by that boat! I almost believed it and planned to give up queuing, but I asked several staff members again, and they all told me clearly: it only takes 20 minutes! Only then did I realize that those guys were just trying to fool me into giving up the line so they could bring their own people in front of me.

Therefore, you should pay attention to your own tour guide, but you should not trust other tour guides.

Watching the lake by boat is a different scenery

There is also this kind of speedboat, the time is shorter, and the price seems to be about the same

The one over there is the so-called West Queen Mother Temple, which is only tens of meters high. You can also see it from the front of Maya Mountain. It is a very inconspicuous little spot by the lake. will elaborate on

There are many small pavilions by the lake, and cruise ships of various colors on the lake

Then anyway, there are all kinds of mountains, trees, stones, pavilions and pavilions

Blue wave ten thousand hectares sky pool water

There are also some tourists looking at the following comfortably in the pavilion by the lake

The trail by the lake is said to be submerged in the season of heavy water

Then there is this Temple of the Queen Mother of the West. This small ruined temple actually charges 25 yuan to enter! But there is no need to go in at all. If you really want to go, get off the boat here, walk up to the door and take a look, and then return along the trail by the lake. This small temple is an antique building rebuilt in the 1990s, but it is said that there was an ancient temple built in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, which was destroyed by war. It is even said that it was first built in the Mongolian and Yuan Dynasties, but this is mostly far-fetched. At that time, there were not even a ghost on this mountain. Where did people build the temple?

It is said that there are some transplanted murals inside, but I am not interested in this

It is said to be the Dojo of the Queen Mother

returned

According to the staff, the trail around the lake is 17 kilometers long, and it takes 6 hours to walk around the lake! I doubt that such a long distance will take so long, but the staff said that most of the roads around the lake are in the middle of the mountain, so it is difficult to walk.

It should be noted that the pier where the ship docked when it came back is not the same place as when it set off. When you go ashore, you will feel that it is not the way you came? but can go out

Then walk to the parking lot at four o'clock, take our own shuttle bus for an hour, and then go out of the gate of the scenic spot to have dinner

On the way back, I saw along the way that at least Urumqi has a well-developed industrial and mining industry. Maybe I should have come here to develop it a few years ago, but now I think the opportunities are running out.

Day 3 Urho Devil City

Then go to Urho Devil City on the third day.

Coming soon, stay tuned.
