In August 2019, the business development in Northwest was basically smooth. I planned to go out for a 4-day holiday. I saw a lot of historical sites in Lingwu Shuidonggou when I was walking around. There are also entertainment items and fun. It just so happens that my classmates are also on summer vacation at Zhongwei Teaching School in Ningxia , so we made an appointment to meet in Yinchuan. In midsummer, the sun was shining and the weather was so hot.

We live in the Fuyou International Youth Hostel near the Drum Tower in Xingqing District. I have never stayed in a youth hostel and I really want to experience it. The location of the hotel is very good, next to Yuhuangge Pedestrian Street, and the interior is also very unique.

The boss is an experienced player in outdoor travel, and he enthusiastically introduced us to the delicious and fun places in Yinchuan. When it comes to Shuidonggou, he also strongly recommends it, saying that it is highly participatory, especially the Beijiang Tiange equestrian show is very exciting, and it is very cost-effective to buy a ticket that includes 16 items. I was worried about what kind of transportation to take, and saw that there was a through train for Ningxia tourist attractions at the front desk. I scanned the QR code and booked a one-way ticket of 15 yuan per person. It should be 60 yuan for the 4 of us. When submitting, only 45 yuan will be deducted. The fare for 1 person is reduced. At 9 o'clock in the morning, I took a taxi to the boarding point of the direct train at Crescent Square. It was very easy to find staff in yellow vests working in this yellow car. There was a small park next to it, and there were many people doing morning exercises. When the departure time came, the staff read the last number of the mobile phone and got on the bus in order according to the reservation order.

About 20 kilometers away will soon reach the scenic spot. The handsome guy on the through train was explaining the story, and all the people in the car were eager to take pictures after talking about the history of Xixia.

Entering the south gate of the scenic spot, the "Shuidonggou Site Museum" with regional characteristics is displayed in front of you. Some people say that the shape of the museum is like the stone tools unearthed in Shuidonggou.

Heritage Museum

In the museum, there are introductions to the lifestyle of primitive people, some unearthed stone tools and primitive skulls. What is shocking is that the museum uses 270-degree super-large half-view paintings, real scenes, phantom imaging and other display forms, combined with the use of technologies such as sound, light, electricity, and adjustable seismic platforms, to truly reproduce the enjoyment of fishing and hunting in ancient times tens of thousands of years ago. Production scenes of life and stone tools.

I saw the group of primitive people migrating hard against the icy cold wind. They climbed over the sand dunes, bypassed the soil forest and came to Shuidonggou. When they saw the green grassland, lake, running antelope and bison in front of them, they put down their luggage He started a new life on the spot and created the Shuidonggou culture that shocked China and the world.

But with the passage of time and shocking disaster scenes such as torrential rain, floods, landslides and ground cracks, the people in Shuidonggou tens of thousands of years ago disappeared. The scene is so beautiful and realistic. Leaving the museum and looking in the direction of the scenic spot, there is a desolate, vast Gobi. Only in those valleys can there be green displays.

Came to Zhang San's shop. Before the excavation of the Shuidonggou site, Zhangsanxiaodian was the only carriage and horse shop at the foot of the Great Wall, and it was the only place for tourists to cross the Yellow River to Inner Mongolia, Shanxi. In 1920, Kent, a Belgian missionary, went from Yinchuan, Ningxia to Shaanxi, passing through here, and stayed overnight in Zhangsan Xiaodian. When he was enjoying the cool in the open space outside the store, he accidentally discovered a strange phenomenon of phosphorous fire flashing on the cliff on the other side of the Qingshui River. The next day he climbed half of the cliff and collected a woolly rhinoceros skull fossil and some stone tools. Since then, the prelude to the excavation of the Shuidonggou site has been opened.

Not far from Zhangsan's shop is Shuidonggou Village, which is a semi-crypt building complex, half above ground and half underground, with the characteristics of warm in winter and cool in summer. The locals call it "Diwozi".

Shuidonggou Village is a restored "diwozi", which has a cylindrical shape, a gable shape, etc. Although they are different externally, their internal structures are similar. The staff of some scenic spots dressed up as primitive people, gesticulating with some primitive tools in their hands, and tourists rushed to take photos with the "primitive people".

There is a huge stone next to the village with the words "Shuidonggou Site" written on it, which is the landmark monument of the Shuidonggou Site.

The electric frequency car sent us to Luhua Valley, and got off near the Shuidonggou No. 2 ruins at the mouth of the valley. A stone tablet stands on the grass next to the reed, engraved with the words "Birthplace of Prehistoric Archeology in China". Under the cliff is the No. 2 site of Shuidonggou.

Simulating an archaeological site, the student group is listening carefully to learn archaeological knowledge. You can also participate in the experience.

Go up the Gobi platform along the steps that follow the trend, where there are the ruins of the mountain temple, the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty, beacons, castles, piers and so on. There are only a few big stones left in the ruins of the Shanshen Temple, but there is a huge stone standing next to the ruins. The inscription "If you don't reach the Great Wall, you are not a good man" is a reminder from Chairman Mao Zedong. The castles and piers of the Great Wall are magnificent, but there are many traces of later restoration.

Standing on the Great Wall, you can see the Yuanyang Lake connected to the Luhua Valley, you can see the vehicles passing by on the road in the distance, and you can see the vastness of the Gobi. The other side of the Great Wall is Inner Mongolia. On a large Gobi Desert, There is a Mongolian camp, a lot of yurts, you can ride camels, horses, yak carts, etc. The one-pass ticket we bought includes these entertainment items. Old people who dare not ride camels can ride yak carts. After riding the camel, it’s time to ride the thrilling desert surfer. It feels like a crazy roller coaster. Whenever you rush down from a high slope, you can’t help but shout loudly.

Walk along the plank road to the water-blocking stone dam at the end of Luhua Valley, where there are rippling blue waves, and cruise ships shuttle back and forth. This is the "Red Mountain Lake". Extending forward in an "S" shape. Tourists who don't buy a pass go to the Luhua Valley to the pier to take a boat.

At the cruise ship pier, board the antique cruise ship. Take a boat trip to Hongshan Lake, see the Great Wall, beautiful shadows in the cliffs, and see the blue sky and white clouds under the water, which is very interesting.

The cruise ship arrived at the Shazaowan Wharf, where there is a tourist center entertainment project area. We first participated in amphibious vehicles, bumper cars, target shooting, archery, and then the zipline (you can only play with a weight of 70 catties or more). calm down.

Passing by the crocodile house, I took a brief look at the donkey and continued on. The uncle who drove the car was from northern Shaanxi, singing folk songs from northern Shaanxi, holding hands and kissing each other, and tipping 5 yuan when we arrived at the destination. Then I saw the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty, which was backed by the earth wall and the cliff in the Ostrich Paradise, surrounded by a long circle with a wooden fence, and there were more than a dozen ostriches feeding inside. I also saw some red deer here, with long and many antlers, very cute. Children are the happiest in the ostrich farm, and they want to get close to those long-necked ostriches, but they are afraid that the ostriches will nudge her. As long as the red deer are very docile, the little ones can caress those antlers to their heart's content.

Leaving the Ostrich Paradise, take a camel cart to the Grand Canyon. In the bursts of music, I came to the place to watch the performance. The large-scale live-action performance of "Northern Xinjiang Tiange" really has a lot of background! It is more shocking than VR, it is a proper naked-eye 5D! Pure Mongolian professional cavalry performances, magnificent Mongolian soldiers camp; 100 horses, camels, yaks; and the only military sites in China: the Great Wall, the Grand Canyon, the Tibetan Cave, and the Red Mountain Fort, which can be called natural dangers. The barrier is a real battle scene... This is of course not a TV series, nor a movie. This is China's first large-scale real-scene horse battle epic drama that condenses the Silk Road culture and Mongolian grassland culture. Part of the performance scene! Being on the scene is like going back in time, watching the "fire of war" on the ancient Silk Road and the domineering scene of Genghis Khan's dominance of the grassland outside the Great Wall!

After watching the performance, it is time to enter the core part of the scenic spot - the Cangbing Cave, which was built in the Ming Dynasty!

Entering the Zangbing Cave, there is only a faint light, and the dark artificial cave is winding in the hanging wall, connecting up and down, and connecting left and right. There are bifurcations in the cave, which turn left and right, just like a maze.

There are many places with the Great Wall in our country, but the three-dimensional military defense system composed of the Great Wall, ditches, castles, the steep Grand Canyon and the Tibetan soldier caves dug along the cliffs of the canyon is the only one in the water caves. Bingdong, the scene is grand, the design is perfect

Wonderful, tunnels, organs, hidden weapons, watchtowers, arsenals, wells, general lounges, conference halls, kitchens and other facilities are all available in the cave.

There are several entrances to the Tibetan Bing Cave, one of which is connected to the "Hongshanbao Tea and Horse Exchange Market". After coming out of the Tibetan soldier cave, we entered Hongshan Fort. Hongshan Fort is an important barrier in the defense system of the Great Wall in the Ming Dynasty. It was first built in 1503. Exit the fort from the urn at the east gate of Hongshan Fort, outside the fort there are trenches several feet in width and depth.

The whole scenic spot is very big, so don't go back. At the last stop, I took a luxury "caravan" pulled by a tractor. The tractor arrived at the parking lot of the scenic spot. The tour officially ended, and I took the through train back to the city.

Swimming in Shuidonggou Scenic Area for a day is like traveling through time, from 30,000 years ago to 500 years, from prehistoric culture to frontier military culture, from soil forest landscape to reed grass and flat lake, from desert border to Jiangnan beauty, it can be described as magical . This day is full and happy!
