2018 May 1st 3-day small holiday, trekking in the Tengger Desert. The Tengger Desert is one of the four major deserts in China. It covers an area of about 30,000 square kilometers with the Great Wall in the south, Helan Mountain in the east and Yabulai Mountain in the west. The altitude of the desert is about 1200-1400 meters. In Mongolian, Tengger means sky, implying the vast quicksand like the boundless sky, hence the name. I joined the Mitutoyo outdoor team, and Tengger also has several commercial teams and luxury commercial teams. Just to clarify, the opening video is from the Iron Bull Team.

Hiking for 8-9 hours all day, cloudy to sunny. Starting from the Sun Lake campsite, a puppy began to follow us. It was very cute and could stand guard for us at night.

D3: Star Lake - Moon Lake - Swan Lake - Yinchuan

Lightning and thunder at night, bright moon and few stars in the morning, geese in the sky called frost and moon, wind and cloud changes. In the morning, light rain pattered, and the sky was clear in the morning. I finally saw the clear sky, but I regretted missing the sky full of stars.

Return to Yinchuan in the afternoon, have a big meal at Najialou next to the railway station.
