And there are quite a lot of flights to Xinjiang now, depending on the time period, the price is not expensive, and the facilities in all aspects can keep up, so it is a place where you can rest assured to play.

DAY1 Urumqi Xinjiang Museum - Yema Cultural Tourist Attraction - Home Inn


Xinjiang Museum


The full name of the Xinjiang Museum is the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum. The appearance does not seem to be much different from ordinary museums, but there are quite a lot of unique cultural relics in the country.

Of course, due to special circumstances, if the museum is open or closed, it is recommended to consult before going to avoid a waste of time.



This museum is both exploratory and mysterious, because some venues are really closed all year round, and there are only a few main halls that are open, but once the special exhibition is opened, it is simply a dream. You can see a lot of treasures, so coming here is just resignation.



To be honest, I came here for the "Five Stars Out of the East and China" armguard, but I didn't expect to see it, because a local person told me that she had never seen it since she was a child, but I When I went, there happened to be a special exhibition! That's what luck is all about.

That is, "Niya · Archeology · Stories - 30 Years of Niya Site Archeology Special Exhibition".

Because of the fire of "Ghost Blowing the Lantern", the Jingjue Ancient Country has almost become a household name.

From the first discovery of the Niya site in 1901 by the British-Hungarian Mark Oriel Stein to the joint academic investigation of the Niya site between China and Japan, the archeology of Niya has gone through nearly a hundred years.

It has been 30 years since the cooperation between China and Japan on the academic investigation of the Niya site was launched in 1988.

The oasis city-state of the Han and Jin Dynasties, which has been dusty for two thousand years, is an outstanding treasure of the ancient country.

The biggest treasure among them is the "Five Stars Out of the East and China" brocade armguard discovered in October 1995 in Tomb No. 8 of Cemetery No. 1 at the Niya site.

This is the first exhibition since it was unearthed, and I was lucky enough to meet it.



In fact, this special exhibition is full of national treasures, which makes people linger and forget to return. Looking at the details of the armguard, I watched it for an hour, and walked around the window again and again.

This is a national first-class cultural relic, and was included in the first batch of 64 cultural relics prohibited from leaving the country. It is known as one of the greatest discoveries of Chinese archaeology in the 20th century.

Another fragment from the same tomb can be determined to belong to the same fabric, with cloud pattern, feather pattern, star pattern and the inscription "Zhu Nan Qiang" on it. After restoration, it is possible to read "Five Stars Out of the East to Benefit China to Discuss Southern Qiang".



In addition to the arm guard, you can also see a lot of cultural relics unearthed at that time, and many daily collections have been replaced.

For example, gorgeous brocades such as "prolonging life and longevity, protecting descendants", "the world's best brocade should be handed down to the descendants of two relatives", "climbing the heights and looking at the wealth and prosperity of the world as the National Day", "Jinchifeng" and other gorgeous brocades.

It is very well preserved, it is really a miracle, colorful and legible.

There are even back lines, and the forward and reverse readings are the same.



Of course, there are also mummy treasures in the collection here.

The beauty of Loulan and Princess Xiaohe are both archaeological discoveries that shocked the world.

The beauty's eyelashes are clearly visible, and even the head lice still exist.

The mummies in the Loulan area and the desert are different from the Egyptian mummies. The mummies here are naturally dried, while the Egyptian mummies are wrapped in asphalt and linen, and the internal organs and brains are removed inside. They are made by special techniques. Of course There are also wet corpses like Mrs. Xinzhui in Mawangdui, Changsha, whose skin was still elastic when they were unearthed, and mummy corpses like Ozzy Iceman, each of which is a treasure in the world, with unique beauty and research value.



Another thing worth mentioning is the "beautiful man in the camp", which is also well-known.

The Yingpan settlement site is the "mountain country" recorded in "Han Shu Biography of the Western Regions". One of the thirty-six countries in the Western Regions, it is also the hub of the "Loulan Road" on the Silk Road.

The red tunic robe with human, animal and tree patterns on the handsome man's body is extraordinarily gorgeous.

The mask on the face has a unique western style and is lifelike.



Yema Cultural Tourism Scenic Spot


The Wild Horse Cultural Tourism Scenic Spot is a relatively new scenic spot in Urumqi.

But here is rich in connotation. It has the world's largest exhibition base of sweat-blooded BMWs, including thoroughbred horses, warm-blooded horses, sweat-blooded horses, Platts mustangs, miniature horses, etc. It is simply a horse museum.



It also has the Yema Art Museum, which collects domestic and foreign oil paintings, with rich collections and various styles.



There are small shops for shopping.



There is also the Xinjiang Ancient Ecological Park, which concentrated pre-Cretaceous silicified wood and meteorites. This garden is still worth visiting, with beautiful scenery and fresh air.




Have a good time, already very tired, go to the hotel quickly.

DAY2 Tianshan Tianchi


After breakfast the next day, drive to Tianshan Tianchi by yourself. The scenic spot is located in Fukang City, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, on the mountainside of the northern slope of Bogda Peak, 97 kilometers away from Urumqi, very close, so this is the easiest place around Urumqi I have seen a large scenic spot. If you are free, you can also go to the nearby Tianshan Grand Canyon.

Tianshan Tianchi, a world natural heritage, a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, and a national geological park.

If you go, it is recommended to find a local company, otherwise, you will not see any tricks in many places, especially rocks.



It is easy to miss a lot of scenery here, such as the East and West Small Tianchi Lakes, which are all in relatively remote locations, so you need to look for them.

Coming here, swimming in the lake is of course a good choice.

In the legendary Yaochi, the lake surface is like a mirror, and the mountains are verdant in the distance, dotted with snow-capped mountains.



If you want to see the whole picture of Tianchi, you need to take a battery car. If you go to the Maya Mountain Cableway, some people will have some altitude sickness, and you need to pay separately.



After sitting on the cableway and climbing a section of the mountain, you can have a panoramic view of the lakes and mountains, and even get a glimpse of the true face of Bogda Peak, the highest peak in the eastern section of Tianshan. It is tall in the middle and slightly lower on both sides, resembling a pen holder, filled with clouds and mist, looming.



There are plank roads and small shops on the mountain road, so don't worry about getting hungry after a long time.



In the past few days, I almost eat the food of a family of Xibe people.

DAY3 Shanshan Kumtag Desert - Turpan Flame Mountain


Self-driving is naturally the most convenient, and there are also bullet trains that can reach Shanshan.

There is the third largest desert in Xinjiang and the closest desert to the city in the world - the Kumtag Desert.

I walked on the sand alone, and I could really feel the hopelessness of walking in the desert. One foot was deep and the other was shallow, and I couldn't pull out my feet, let alone run.

Remember to bring plenty of water to drink, but don't throw away bottles, the ecological environment must be protected.



There are oases and cities on the edge of the desert. You can play in the sand and experience the feeling of rapid heartbeat.

It's so cool to get a watermelon to eat when you go out of the scenic spot.

Don't go too deep into the scenic spot alone, you will be exhausted when you come out.



Then drive to Huoyanshan.

CCTV's "Journey to the West" Flame Mountain was filmed here, and the surface temperature here can directly cook eggs. When I went in the evening, it was so hot that it exploded, and there was a huge golden hoop thermometer.



After that, you can go to Karez well. If the season is right, you can also go to pick grapes. After eating grapes in Turpan, you probably won’t want to eat grapes from other places.

There are many varieties, the sweet ones, hahaha, the cheap ones are almost free.



Return at dusk to watch the sunset.



This is a super perfect self-driving place in Xinjiang. The road conditions are actually quite wrong, so we will continue to play next time.
