To be honest, I only love the old city, and the old cities everywhere are my travel goals. I live in Beijing, and I am a half-hutong person. Maybe because of this, I have a unique yearning for the architecture and humanities of the old city. Every time I go to a place, I will look for the footprints of the ancient city, go there and have a look. . I often even travel to this place with the old city as my goal, such as Fenghuang, Wuyuan, Wuzhen, Xitang, Pingyao, etc. Ancient cities and old towns breed too much emotion and art, and each place has its own characteristics. There are old cities everywhere and they are all so different. Every time I go there, I will get a cleansing of the soul. This time the destination is the old city of Kashgar in Xinjiang. It is another reorganization and healing of my spiritual world.

Speaking of Xinjiang, my impression of it since I was a child is probably "the moonlight cup of grape wine, if you want to drink the pipa, immediately remind me", but now the impression of it is that Xinjiang produces beautiful women. It is said that if you have not been to Kashgar, you have not been to Xinjiang, but I think that you have not been to the land of Xinjiang if you have not been to the old city of Kashgar.

I have always firmly believed that when we meet different people and scenery on the road, there will always be many touches, which will inspire us to keep moving forward on the road of life. When the old city of Kashgar came into view, my nose was inexplicably sour. Why there are such distinctive street buildings, such a strong Uyghur style, and such brilliant and beautiful Uyghurs?

At 10:30 in the old city, there is a city gate opening ceremony, which lasts about ten minutes. In the most enthusiastic way of the Uighur people, guests and friends from all over the world are welcomed with singing and dancing. The Kaicheng ceremony started lively in the morning sun, accompanied by music with Uyghur ethnic characteristics, heroic guards of the ancient city, old men with superb dancing skills, graceful dancers, sweaty BMWs that travel thousands of miles a day, Han Dynasty The Banchao of the dynasty, the concubine Xiang of the Qing Dynasty... Various characters come here one after another, making people feel as if they have traveled back to the mysterious and legendary Western Regions desert in ancient times.

Walking in the streets and alleys of the ancient city, you will be greeted by Xinjiang's exclusive exotic style. The characteristic architectural style, exquisitely carved doors and windows, the streets and alleys are criss-crossed, and the layout is flexible and changeable. But there is a way to identify the direction by looking at the floor tiles, and you can walk out of the old city by walking along the bricks with 6 corners; while walking forward with the other bricks with 4 corners is a dead end. The old city of Kashgar reminded me of the scene in Avanti, as if I was in a cartoon.

This is also a paradise of ethnic style. There are many shops on both sides of the street, with a dazzling array of handicrafts, such as small flower hats, gourds, earthenware utensils and so on.

When it comes to Xinjiang, many people will think of Xinjiang dance. Of course, this is inseparable from Xinjiang's national musical instruments, such as tambourine, satar, rewafu, etc., and there are all kinds of exquisite but unnamed musical instruments. Enough to mobilize every musical cell in you, and even have the urge to twist your neck.

Standing on the street in the city, it is enough to make people salivate. There are all kinds of food such as grapes, baked naan, baked buns, cantaloupe, pomegranate juice, etc. Foodie friends, don’t miss it!

What's even more lovely is that the people here are very enthusiastic. When they meet you, they will greet you with a smile and say "Hello" and "Goodbye" in broken Chinese. Smaller children will even jump straight into your lens. The concave shape allows you to take pictures, and people can't help but want to take pictures with them. The unique big eyes of the Uyghur people are really enviable. There are beautiful flowers and plants in front of every house in the old city. Presumably only those who are full of love for life are willing to spend time and energy to take care of flowers and plants, which shows how comfortable they are living. Strolling under the clear sky of the ancient city of Kashgar, the quiet streets of the old city, the blooming flowers and lush green plants on both sides, I really want to slow down time, I really want to stay like this.

The old city of Kashgar in Xinjiang is different from other ancient cities. It is not green, gray, or white. It is warm yellow, just like the people there, with warm and sunny smiles. It has the ability to make people unforgettable. Although people leave, part of their hearts have been left there.
