Day1 customs clearance and check-in

How is Macau after the epidemic? This time I went to Macau and found that there are many new ways to play in Macau, and I will unlock them one by one with everyone! You may not know it yet, but now you can travel to Macau with confidence! There have been no new cases of the new crown in Macau for more than two hundred days, and it is a very safe tourist destination.

Before going to Macau, you need to do a nucleic acid test one or two days in advance. Generally, you can get the nucleic acid test result report on the same day or the next afternoon. The nucleic acid test is valid for seven days and must cover the time in Macau. Check again whether the time of Macau endorsement on the Hong Kong and Macau Pass is within the validity period.

You can choose Gongbei Pass or Hengqin Pass to pass the customs in Zhuhai. Before passing through the customs, use your mobile phone to scan the QR code to complete the customs health declaration form, and use the green Guangdong Health Code to scan the QR code when you leave the mainland border. When you enter the Macao border, you must scan the Macao Health Code again and show a negative nucleic acid test report. . The clearance time is about 20 minutes.

After passing the customs, there are different hotel free buses on the left hand side of the gate. We booked the Parisian Hotel this time. We took the hotel free bus to the Parisian. The hotel lobby is elegant and elegant, and there are temperature measuring instruments in the lobby , The staff all wear masks. When checking in, it is marked on the floor that there is a one-meter queuing distance between people. There is free alcohol hand sanitizer on the front desk table, which shows that the hotel's epidemic prevention measures are very strict. In the warm white hotel suite, exquisite welcome snacks have been prepared for us, and the Eiffel Tower is outside the room window.

Day2 Visit the Macau Grand Prix

Come to Macau and instantly become a racing fan! In Macau these days, the whole city is full of racing fanaticism, and the roar of wild racing can be heard at any time. Every November there is the Macau Grand Prix, and this year is the 67th. Competing drivers come from all over the world, this is an annual fan event.

The day's schedule is from about 8:00 am to about 5:00 pm, and there are different games at different times. Online booking orders can be scanned and picked up by themselves. When entering the venue, the staff will tie a bracelet on the wrist, and you can enter and exit freely throughout the day.

There is no sunshade and rain shelter for the pond stand, and there is no fixed position on the ticket, which can be chosen at will after entering the venue. We felt very safe sitting in the stands watching the game. The staff had already taken various safety measures on the periphery, and everyone had to wear a mask to enter. On the opposite side of the stand, there is a big screen broadcasting the performance of the racing cars on other tracks. You can clearly see corners, overtaking, accidents and so on. As the game became more and more exciting, the adrenaline soared, and the audience in the stands were hooked.

In addition to the competition, there are other peripheral activities of the Grand Prix. At Fisherman’s Wharf next to the world’s most famous Guia track in Macau, you can see supercars and real racing cars under the building of the ancient Roman theater, and watch the performance of the drifting team. I heard that the three players with the highest scores in the mobile game simulation car competition can get a drift car test ride experience.

Day3 Old Town Roaming, "Two Lakes and One Tower" and Food Festival

First of all, Shishi would like to recommend a classic old city roaming route to everyone: Ruins of St. Paul's - Love Lane - Senado Square - Fulong New Street.

The classic landmark of Macau is the most familiar Ruins of St. Paul’s. Before the Ruins of St. Paul’s, it was a church. After several fires, only the front wall of the church remained, witnessing the ups and downs that Macau experienced. Many tourists just take pictures in front of the archway. Don't forget that there is a small free museum behind the archway that you can visit. Traveling to Macau now, there are much fewer tourists taking pictures at the St. Paul’s than usual. It is very possible to take pictures of the empty St. Paul’s at this time.

Between the Ruins of St. Paul's and the right street of St. Paul's, there is a street named "Love Lane". There are Portuguese-style buildings on one side of the alley pink and yellow on the other. Standing in the alley, you can see the Ruins of St. Paul's, which is full of romance. Many movies are filmed here, and many lovers take pictures here. There is a new "Love Movie Theater" opened in this alley, and there will be relatively small independent movie screenings every day.

Senado Square is located opposite the headquarters of the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau. The entire square is paved with gravel in a wave shape. People like to gather here to rest and relax. In the center of the square stands a fountain, which is also the symbol of the place. Today, a celestial globe, a symbol of Portugal's nautical expeditions, is placed over the fountain. When you come to Senado Square at different times, you have another experience. From Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival to Christmas, the place is suddenly decorated with festive decorations, matching the surrounding European architecture, and fully displaying the characteristics of the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures in Macau.

There are many shops here, and it has been a prosperous commercial area from the past to the present. The most rare thing is that there are two or three storey Chinese and Western houses in the past, and there are Western-style buildings nearby, such as the Rose Hall, the Hall of Mercy, and the Civil Affairs Bureau building. Even Chinese-style temples such as the Three Street Guild Hall, combined with the rhythm of modern life, the harmonious coexistence of old buildings and modern atmosphere, perfectly embodying the blend of Chinese and Western cultures, is the uniqueness of Macau.

Fulong New Street was built during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. It was the brothel street in Macau at that time. This area was once lively and prosperous, but also experienced hardships. There are still many two-storey buildings in the late Qing Dynasty here. After renovation, the window panels, doorways and metal door panels on the buildings are all painted with bright red paint, which contrasts with the gray walls, which is very antique. People are pleasing to the eye.

After visiting the downtown area of Xinma Road, we came to "Two Lakes and One Tower", which refers to Zhiwan Lake, Xiwan Lake and Tourist Tower. Nanwan Lake and Saiwan Lake are located in the south of the Macao Peninsula. They are built with embankments, and the breeze is gentle. Walk along the lake to enjoy the lake view. At night, Nanwan Lake also has gorgeous waterfall fountains and laser shows.

There is a winter carnival next to the tourist tower. It is the only outdoor real snow park in Macau. I never expected that there will be ice and snow in Macau. There is a cute polar bear greeting us at the entrance, and you can take pictures with the chubby Mr. Polar Bear. Although the park is not big, it also has a children's corner and a game booth area, which is more suitable for parents and children to play. The park is free to enter!

The Food Festival is right next to the Winter Carnival, and the sky was getting darker. We came to Sai Van Lake Square, and we could see the big characters of "Macao Food Festival" under the tourist tower from a distance. From the Sai Wan Lake Square, you can see the sun gradually setting from the side of the tourist tower, and the neon lights are coming on. As night falls, more and more people come to the food festival.

The decoration of each stall is very distinctive, some are decorated as Portuguese buildings, some are decorated as Japanese izakaya, and there are large crabs and lobsters on the facade. Just looking at the booth decoration, you can know what the food characteristics of each booth are, including Portuguese food, Macau local food, Japanese food, and Southeast Asian food. We walked around and couldn’t hold our stomachs anymore after eating a lot. We still want to taste the food at different stalls. I suggest that you invite a few friends to taste more varieties!

Day4 Check in the new landmark of Macau and slow life in Coloane

teamLab is one of the top ten must-see exhibitions in the world. Macau teamLab Supernatural Space is the highest teamLab in the world, with a height of 8 meters, and a strong sense of immersive experience. It is also a "body-immersive art museum" composed of a group of works exploring people and nature, as well as a new understanding of the world.

In addition to taking good-looking photos, many works in the exhibition hall have hidden mysteries. For example, if you touch the flowers on the wall with your hands, the petals will spread out, and if you touch them still, the flowers will bloom more than usual; in the calligraphy and painting exhibition hall, when you touch the Chinese characters, the world of patterns contained in the Chinese characters will be displayed; In the bouncing trampoline full of stars, if you keep jumping at the same place, the nebula will gradually gather and become planets, and finally become a cosmic "black hole", engulfing everything around; in addition to these, there are also interactive " Lilliputian", "Hopscotch", "Slide Fruit Garden". In "Flipping the World: Graffiti Nature", children can draw animal patterns, and the staff will scan and project the paintings into the works, as if the works immediately have vitality.

After punching in the new landmark of Macau, we took the bus to downtown Coloane, which has the feeling of a small fishing village by the sea. Recommended route: Front of the President - Avalokitesvara Ancient Temple - Tam Kung Temple - Coloane Library - St. Francis Church - Golden Flower Temple - Coloane Pier.

I haven't been to Coloane for almost a year. This time I came to Coloane City, and I feel that there have been many interesting changes. In addition to the well-known first Andrew's coffee shop here, there will be many little surprises waiting for you in the streets and alleys! There are more graffiti on the walls, and there are some great restaurants and coffee shops. I highly recommend the Coloane Quay Noodle House. Many locals come here. The curry noodles we ordered are very delicious.
