As for Tangshan, my impression was originally only of the heart-shaking scenes in the movie "Tangshan Earthquake" a few years ago. I have passed by here several times to the beach, but never thought of staying.
And this weekend, at the suggestion of a few friends, we drove together to this city, which is only two hours away from Beijing, and gave me the opportunity to get to know it again, the reborn city of Phoenix.
About Tangshan
In the nineteenth year of Tang Zhenguan (645), Emperor Taizong Li Shimin led his army to conquer the Korean Peninsula. On the way back, he passed through Tangshan. His concubine Concubine Cao died of illness. name.
Tangshan is known as the "Northern Porcelain Capital" and is the birthplace of Chinese Pingju. The shadow puppets, Pingju and Laoting Drum, known as "Three Flowers in Eastern Hebei", are national intangible cultural heritage. At the same time, China's first mechanized coal mining mine, the first standard gauge railway, and the first steam locomotive were born here.

first day
1. Peiren Education Memory Hall
This red-brick building hidden in the residential community is the first girls' school in the eastern Jidong region - the former site of Peiren Girls' High School established in 1921, which was converted from an orphanage.
On the top of the gate, the four characters "Learn to be high and be upright" come from Mr. Tao Xingzhi's famous saying "Learn to be a teacher, and be upright to be a model".
After renovation and development, the principal’s office and classrooms at that time have been restored on the first floor, which displays the introduction of the school’s development history. Some old photos on the wall record the intellectual women of the new era who broke the concept of "a woman without talent is virtue".
Another room is now a café.
Some rooms on the second floor have been transformed into classrooms, focusing on improving the three comprehensive qualities of "quality and character", "interest and skills", and "art and cultivation", and set up classrooms for traditional Chinese painting, calligraphy, painting, music, photography, etc. , continue to inherit the concept of education.

2. Tangshan Banquet
The full name is Tangshan Food Culture Museum. Can food culture be moved into a museum, isn't it amazing?
The first floor is based on the design concept of "three streets, two alleys and one river". It gathers the most primitive and simple food of Tangshan, as well as the characteristics of Tangshan - workshops and museums of 饹馇 and chestnut. The restaurants on the second and third floors are all small courtyards with blue bricks and gray tiles, as well as a stage, Tangshan cultural exhibition, calligraphy academy, etc.
A group of us bought a lot of snacks, found a seat next to the river, sat in the pavilion to enjoy the food, and listened to the folk art performances on the upstairs stage. very unique.
Tickets: Free
3. South Lake Tourist Scenic Spot
Tangshan Nanhu Tourist Scenic Spot is located in the city center and is a national 4A-level scenic spot. In 2016, it also hosted the World Horticultural Exposition.
The date-time themed restaurant cafe is in the scenic spot, and friends want to come and see it. The theme here is Home Party. In addition to billiards, board games, and e-sports rooms, there are arcade machines that have not been seen for a long time, a small theater with a super comfortable sofa, and an extremely cool KTV.
A party hall with such rich facilities, it seems that it is not only suitable for gathering with friends, but also a small company group building is no problem~
Out of date time, night has fallen.
We rushed to Longquanwan Lake to watch the light and water dance show. The performance started at 8:00 p.m., and there were already many people sitting on the steps after 7:00 p.m., occupying a favorable position in advance.
The long and huge water curtain unfolds slowly, introducing the modern development of the city of Tangshan, followed by fountains and lights dancing to music, which looks like a phoenix flying in the clouds from a distance, which also represents the rebirth of Tangshan , is really a visual feast.
When performing "See you again", looking at the misty mist, I couldn't help feeling sad...
After watching the light show, you can see the phoenix sculpture on Danfeng Chaoyang Square when you look back.
Longshan Pavilion under the night.

the next day
1. Shadow Play Theme Park
Tangshan Shadow Puppetry is China's intangible cultural heritage, and Tangshan Shadow Puppet Theme Park is designed with the concept of "the oldest animation, the most fashionable shadow play". The image of Tang Xin'er and her younger sister Tang Baoer integrates shadow puppets into various parent-child project facilities, and focuses on low-carbon environmental protection and non-power experience.
It was only opened in May this year, and there are not many tourists at present. Although there are more than 30 rides, there are basically no long queues, and the experience is very good.
There is also a restaurant in the park, the price is very close to the people~
I originally came with my friends and baby, but I had a lot of fun here. Does it mean that I am still a baby?
Tickets: 100 yuan/person, 180 yuan/double parent-child, 238 yuan/three-person family
2. South Lake Football Park
There are several fans in our group. In order to satisfy them, I can only play with them under the scorching sun. However, it is still very comfortable to see the large green grassland under the blue sky and white clouds~
It happened that there were football games and youth training camps here. Although I am not even a fake fan, I couldn’t help but sigh silently in my heart: China’s future football depends on you~
Tickets: 400 yuan/3 hours for 11-person venue, 260 yuan/2 hours for 5-person venue
3. South Lake Football Hotel
Nanhu Football Hotel is the first football-themed hotel in China, just across the road from the football park.
We originally planned to have lunch here after playing football, but we found that this place is very special, so we took a tour.
The lobby and front desk are very well designed, and the terrace view is also very good.
The uniforms and profiles of the teams from various countries are displayed in the corridors of the guest rooms, and some uniforms have player signatures
There is a very cool bar on the first floor, next to it is a super large electronic screen, it must be very enjoyable to drink and watch football here during the World Cup~
Lunch is also good~
4. Doma Paradise
Dorma Paradise is located in Caofeidian Wetland Scenic Area. It is a "fishing" cultural theme park. There are more than 50 novel fishing items, all of which are independently developed and designed by Dorma Paradise.
I was still thinking about the novelty of fishing. After I came in and played a few times, I realized that there are so many tricks to play in fishing~Using nets, hooks, and wooden barrels, children have fun, we A group of adults seem to have regained their childhood.
Tired of playing? Take a break on the beach and let the little ones get on with it. . .
Because the plan was relatively late, and it was the weekend, I didn’t book the water wooden house here, but I still really want to feel it~
This paradise is very conscientious. Tickets are a pass system. There are no items that require additional ticket purchases. The small trains and shared bicycles in the chain park are all included~
There is also a cafeteria in the paradise, where you can eat rich seafood buffet hot pot for 69 yuan per person. Many of the table meals we ate were created by the park itself, and the seafood tastes good~
Tickets: 160 yuan/1-day ticket, 240 yuan/2-day ticket
third day
1. Moon Island
Moon Island is one of the three islands of Tangshan International Tourism Island (the other two islands are Bodhi Island and Xiangyun Island). It is named after its shape like a crescent moon.
Buy a ticket at the Sanbei Pearl Wharf and board the boat to the island. The boat is very stable, and friends who usually get seasick don't feel much.
I came here ten years ago. At that time, there was only a sea cabin on the island, and the facilities were not perfect. I came back today and found that the place has changed a lot. In addition to the log cabins, single-family villas, hot spring hotels, etc. have been built, and there are many more tourists.
The weather is very hot, but it has not affected everyone's love for the sea, swimming, playing with sand, digging shells...
Although I am going back to Beijing today, my friend still wants to visit the hot spring hotel on the island. The hotel is built along the winding coastline, and the infinity pool faces the sea.
Going further inside, there is also a swimming pool, which is built in the center of the exotic guest room area.
Even the balcony of the room is equipped with a small private pool, it is really a pleasure to live here~
2. Bodhi Island
Bodhi Island is famous for being ancient, secluded, leisurely, wild, and beautiful. The island is so quiet that even the children speak in a low voice.
There is a large bodhi forest on the island, and the wooden plank road shuttles through it, which feels like a winding path leading to seclusion.
Lunch is settled at the restaurant on the island. It is still a specialty of Tangshan, as well as seafood. This is also the last meal of our trip to Tangshan, hurry up and enjoy~
Take a walk to Dingxiangxi, look at the ancient temple across the lake, drink tea, listen to the piano, and watch children play chess in the house. The birds and cicadas sing in the courtyard, and the breeze passes through the hall. This is the life in Taoyuan.
It must be good to enjoy the sunset on the bridge after passing through a reed marsh before leaving and waiting for the leaves to turn yellow later.
live in tangshan
Hotel: Tangshan Shangri-La Hotel.
Facts have proved that our choice is too correct. This place integrates accommodation, catering, shopping, leisure, and parenting.
When I entered the room, I saw the fruits and Tangshan snacks prepared by the hotel, as well as the handwritten welcome card, which was really thoughtful.
The room is clean and comfortable, and the toiletries are L'Occitane. The floor-to-ceiling windows have a great view, overlooking the entire People's Park behind the hotel.
The parent-child room where friends bring their children, the room is full of little yellow ducks, and the tent on the ground is too cute~
The parent-child room next door is being cleaned, and we also visited it by the way. In such a room, children probably don't want to leave after they come in.
Lunch and breakfast are served at the Xiangfeige cafeteria on the first floor. The multiple stalls here provide Chinese, Japanese, Western and other different flavors of food.
For dinner, we chose Tanghuang Pavilion here. This Chinese restaurant has authentic fruit wood roast duck prepared by chefs invited from Beijing. The head chef also cooked fresh matsutake on the spot, which greatly satisfied our taste buds.
After the meal, adults and children act separately.
Children come to the children's playground here to have fun, and the various amusement facilities inside make them very happy.
My friends and I came to the gym to sweat. The fitness equipment here is very complete, and it is open to the public. Residents in the surrounding area can also apply for a card to enter.
There is a large swimming pool next to it, but unfortunately I forgot to bring my swimsuit, so I can only watch it helplessly. . .
After dinner, I visited the newly opened shopping mall here, and there are many shops.
