Beijing weather: sunny

With whom: friends

Accommodation: Unnamed Hotel Nanluoguxiang Branch

Beijing is huge, but hotels in great locations are very expensive, and every inch of land is really expensive. If the location of an ordinary express hotel is not bad, it is normal for a small room of 189 square meters to cost 400 to 500 per night. Considering the travel of our family and the elderly, we hope to have a place with a comfortable environment and a good location for travel. Therefore, I prefer homestays when choosing accommodation.
According to the travel plan, we need to stay in two places in Beijing, so we booked in advance the only boutique hotel in Dajie, Nanluo Ancient Lane. The price per night is around 500. There is a balcony, the design is very fresh, very pleasant, a Chinese-style hotel I like very much.

Today, I planned to go to Jingshan to shoot ridge animals and the Forbidden City, and finally decided to go to Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum.....
Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum is located in Xiannongtan, Beijing

Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum Worship Hall

Today I mainly looked at the "Tai Sui Palace" complex, which is a place for worshiping Tai Sui and natural gods such as spring, summer, autumn and winter
From south to north, the central axis of the Taisui hall group is the worship hall and the Taisui hall. There are 11 wing rooms on the east and west sides, and the buildings are connected by walls.
The worship hall is a single eaves Xieshan style, with black glazed tiles and green glazed tiles trimming

Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum Ridge Beast, Knock Beast, Run Beast, Kiss Beast, Lay Beast

Since the Ming Dynasty, there are no animals on the main ridge of the palace.
It is only set at the corner of the eaves, and the order of arrangement is: dragon, phoenix, lion, Tianma, seahorse, 狻猊, Yayu, Xiezhi, bullfighting, Xingshi
The number is generally an odd number, such as 11, 9, 7, 5, etc., which are descending according to the grade, from Xingshi, Doubu, Xiezhi, Yayu, Suanni, etc. to descending in turn, and people look up at each of them. You can clearly know its level by counting

The algae well in Pilu Hall, Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum

The ceiling is a component that covers the top of the building, and the dome-shaped ceiling in the building is called a "caisson".
The algae well of Longfu Temple is preserved here, which is exquisite
However, in the twenty-seventh year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1901), a fire burned most of the Longfu Temple. In 1976, when the Tangshan Earthquake affected Beijing, only a few temples in Longfu Temple almost collapsed. On the night of August 12, 1993, another fire completely destroyed Longfu Temple. But fortunately, after the earthquake, the algae wells of several main halls in Longfu Temple were demolished and moved to Xihuang Temple for safekeeping, and then moved to Xiannongtan for safekeeping in 1989, so that we can still see these shocking ones. The exquisite algae well can remind you of the glory of Longfu Temple in the past
Hanging in the middle of the ceiling of the hall of worship is the algae well in the open space of the Pilu Hall of Longfu Temple
The dark components are originals, and the bright parts are later repairs
This is an octagonal algae well, the interior is divided into multiple areas by two quadrangular rotations, and the center of the well is a circle embedded in an octagon. In the middle is a Panlong exquisitely carved from a whole piece of golden nanmu, with a vivid figure, surrounded by auspicious clouds, eager to fly

Hanging on the roof of the Taisui Hall, the ingenious and unique caisson is round in shape and golden in color. The algae well is more than four meters high and about 3 meters in diameter. The circular algae well wall is covered with exquisite miniature palace models. Each of the four corners of the algae well is guarded by a warrior in armor. The top of the center of the algae well is not carved with dragons or other patterns like other algae wells, but a mysterious astronomical map with 1427 stars in the sky engraved on it, and each star is also marked with its name. After verification with modern technology, it is found that the position indicated by this star map is relatively accurate, which is amazing
