Dali, they say it is a "Utopia"
Literary and artistic youths came to Erhai Lake with their ideals in mind.
Hello! goodbye!
Stories like this are repeated every day, and only a few remain.
The wind, the flowers, the snow and the moon are just stories in ancient legends, and we will eventually return to our own place.
I have a deep relationship with Dali, which was once my ideal country.
We met several times, and there were many surprises. I suddenly wanted to write a travel note about Dali, but I was worried that it would be stinky and long.
I always feel that my words are a bit boring. I think photos are the best way to carry memories. If you don’t mind, let me take my time.
This is the second time I have come to Dali in my memory. At that time, Dali was on fire because of Xinhua Road.
Waves of tourists came here singing "Are you not satisfied with life, have not laughed for a long time and don't know why? Since you are unhappy and don't like this place, why not go all the way west to Dali".
I didn't have too many troubles in my life at that time, Shuanglang was still very popular, and Dali in my heart stayed in Erhai Lake.
The love in college turned into a long-distance relationship after work, and the time of a trip turned into a short but happy reunion.
It was the first time I met Jesus Guang in Erhai Lake, and I was so excited. This photo is still hanging on the wall.
2017 is a very important turning point for me, and March is also the most confusing month for me.
For various reasons, I quit my original job. People are very strange. After staying in the original environment for a long time, they will be afraid of changes and become cautious about many things. However, I have resigned this time for a year.
I tried to go to Dali to find my ideal, but in the end I found nothing but took a bunch of photos.
Goodbye to Erhai Lake, sitting in the little Putuo and taking pictures of seagulls, the double corridors in my heart no longer exist, and the most beautiful memory is dug color.
Because of photography, I have met many like-minded friends, and Da Ya is one of them.
Da Ya took my friends and I to Crooked Neck Tree for the first time, and tourist photos of unprofessional models are always staged.
Recently, I went to Dali again, no longer obsessed with catching up to the attractions, but found a house I like to live in, and enjoy the slow time in Dali.
Dreaming into Erhai Lake, and waking up at Erhai Lake again.
Fate is really wonderful. In the vast sea of people, we are always missing and meeting each other. Those fateful encounters are worth cherishing even more.
Xiaohe, a photographer in Lijiang, became a good friend when we met for the second time. Under her guidance, I got to know Dali again.
I call her the almighty Xiaohe teacher, who can take pictures, do makeup, and even make me a favorite instant noodle roll.
The key is not to dislike me, this time I concentrate on climbing mountains and going into the water, being a nimble little fat man.
Walking into the groves by the sea in Majiuyi, I was pleasantly surprised by the changing seasons. This autumn came a little early, but it seemed just right.
Some people think it’s vulgar to travel and pose for photos, but in my opinion, youth is short, just use the way you like.
Because the rice field rushed to Xizhou, but in just a few days, the rice field has turned into a scarecrow. Pretending not to care, she walked up to Xilin Garden in a chic way.
The cave at the foot of Luwo Mountain is a holy place for taking photos that only authentic old drivers know. It is worthwhile to go up and down the road a little bit.
At sunset, the sun makes the shadows long, and the golden color sprinkles all over the body, warming the heart from the head. For so many years, I have always liked to chase the scenery, and the satisfaction from the beauty can only be experienced by myself.
The colorful fishing boats were placed neatly by the lake during the fishing ban period, which became a check-in point for taking pictures. Xiaohe said that he threw his thoughts into the Erhai Lake, and was so involved in the scene that his eyes were dull.
Autumn is strong, and the autumn of the grove is the most beautiful I have ever seen.
The promised notice was accidentally wordy again.
There are too many times to go to Dali. This travel note is in no particular order. It mainly focuses on Erhai Lake, the ancient city, and Cangshan Mountain. Let me talk about the interesting places in Dali in my eyes.

【Erhai Tour】
When traveling around the Erhai Lake, many people choose electric vehicles, and the price is very cheap, but the ultraviolet rays in Dali are still very strong, so I personally do not recommend it.
Renting a car is also a good choice. There are many car rental shops on Erhai Lake and in the ancient city of Dali, with prices ranging from 200-500 per day.
There are also buses from the ancient city to Shuanglang and Quse, the price is cheap, but it is not very convenient for sightseeing.

【photography】
Most of my portrait photos are taken by my friend @小和同学 is a photographer and @小巴黎
The scenery inside is Canon 6D, lens: 17-40, 50 1.4, 85 1.8, 35 1.4
Post-production: photoshop+lightroom
【clothing】
Yunnan is like spring all the year round, and the weather has been very good a few times. Even in November, it is okay to wear skirts during the day, just bring a thick coat with you, as it will be cooler in the morning and evening.
Most of my clothes are bought at Ideal Thirty Travel Women's Clothing, please Mr. Lu's house, if you need to connect, you can private message me.
【Sun protection】
The ultraviolet rays in Yunnan are very strong. It is recommended to take sun protection measures, otherwise it will be very dark. A moisturizing mask is also super necessary, the air is very dry.
Accommodation recommendations - travel and sleep related
I really like the two homestays I stayed in this time. One is in the ancient city of Dali, and the other is digging in the Erhai Lake. I recommend it to everyone.
1. Tinghuatang Private Garden Inn (Dali Ancient Town Branch)
The inn is on the mountainside of Cangshan Mountain. The view is very good. There are battery cars to pick up and drop off the ancient city, which is very convenient.
The hotel rooms are mainly cave style, each room is super beautiful, and the soft decoration color can be said to be super like.
There is a large garden at the entrance of the inn, which is very suitable for taking pictures, and the breakfast is also exquisite.

2. Tinghuatang Seaview Garden Beauty Hotel (Dali Erhai Tianjing Branch)
There are not many sea-view rooms open on the Erhai Sea. This store is very popular. It is very close to Little Putuo, and you can go to see seagulls by walking.
All the room facilities are top-notch. In the true sense, it faces the sea and is a house in full bloom in spring.
The infinity swimming pool and the sky in the public area are just a blockbuster, which is very valuable.

Wake up at Erhai Lake
"Erhai is not a sea, but it is more beautiful than any sea"
Seeing Dali again, I finally lived in a sea view room by the Erhai Lake again.
From Chengdu to Dali, the distance is more than 1,000 kilometers. The moment I saw the blue sky and white clouds, my mood was instantly healed.
The B&B I stayed in this time is located in Quse, very close to Little Putuo, and the public area of the hotel is very beautiful.
I changed my clothes and took pictures in the infinity pool. The sun shone on the water, and there were layers of waves. The scenery at this moment felt like a vacation.
There is a sky realm on the top of the building, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds. It is a big movie if you take a random shot. I really like this Dali blue.
Spending one day to feel the softness of Erhai Lake and watching the sky change into thousands of colors is probably the most comfortable way to travel.
This trip, together with Xiaohe, a photographer friend from Lijiang, made me know Dali again in the name of taking pictures.
The starting point of travel is Erhai Lake, so this travel note will start with Erhai Lake.
top 1【Ran Erhai Lake】
The Erhai Lake is where the "Erhai Moon" is located, one of the four scenic spots in Dali. It is said that it is named "Erhai" because it is shaped like an ear.
Erhai Lake is divided into Haixi and Haidong. If you travel around Erhai, it is recommended to start from Haixi in the morning, go to Xizhou, Shuanglang and then to Haidong, and finally go to dig colors to watch the sunset, so that all the scenery and light will be more scientific.
East of Erhai Lake - the most beautiful color digging
【Little Putuo】
Little Putuo was first built in the Ming Dynasty and was rebuilt in 1982. It is a pavilion-style two-story building. The first floor is dedicated to Tathagata Bodhisattva, and the second floor is dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva.
Little Putuo is located on the sea surface tourist line from Xiaguan to Shuanglang and Butterfly Spring. When cruise ships arrive here, they must stop at the island, allowing tourists to board Little Putuo to enjoy the scenery of Erhai Lake.
From December to March of the next year, many Siberian seagulls fly to Little Putuo, forming a scenic line.
If you want to see flocks of seagulls on the Erhai Lake, the first choice is to go to Little Putuo near Duse.
Seeing groups of seagulls, I liked it very much, so I just sat by the lake and played with birds, taking pictures of Jingjin by myself.
The Erhai Lake in the morning is like a blue cloth, and the Cangshan Mountain in the distance has just turned white, forming a picture of the sea and the sky with the Erhai Lake.
For the first time, I found that taking pictures of animals can be so vigorous. The chirping of seagulls makes Erhai Lake very lively.
The light at noon was not very good, and it was the only regret that I didn't take a photo with the seagull.
The musicians on the lakeside played the organ and played the guitar, and the sound was like the sounds of nature.
【Dig color grove】
On the way from Duse to Shuanglang, you will pass a small forest, which is very suitable for taking pictures.
I finally found out why electric vehicles are the choice of most people to go around the Erhai Lake, because there are scenery everywhere on the Erhai Lake, and some places can’t even be named, so walking and stopping is the best way to visit.
The friends who were traveling together bought ice cream for me and Xiaohe, and I didn’t forget to take pictures while eating.
I really like the group of photos that Xiaohe took for me. The colors of the autumn forest are really beautiful.
Pay attention to the light when taking pictures in the small forest, because the background is very complicated and shadows are easy to appear on the face.
Every time I take a photo, I am full of chicken blood, and my weight has increased by ten catties, but my smug heart has never changed.
There are many fishing boats outside the woods. It is the fishing moratorium now. The fishing boats are neatly put together, and the photos are very beautiful.
When Mr. Xiaohe helped me take pictures, he still made me emotional. The requirements of photographers were too high. I'm obviously not an actor, but I have to design those plots, hahaha, but I'm acting very hard.
I really like the hair Xiaohe clipped for me today. Girls are like this, taking good-looking photos can make you happy all day long.
【Dig Color Wharf】
Duse Wharf is also a very suitable place for film production. There is a platform that can directly extend into the middle of the water. There have been some accidents here before, so the platform will often be closed.
This photo was taken several years ago. If you travel around Haidong, you can try your luck at the Quse Wharf.
The pier was not open this time, so I found a place where I could go into the water at random on the side of the road, and it was still a solid blockbuster under Xiaohe's lens.
The tree at the entrance of the hotel is also suitable for filming. I suddenly remembered Guo Jing's song, "I want to sing on the tree with bare feet", and the scene in front of me was so harmonious.
【Deer Crouching Mountain】
Many people may not be very familiar with this place. This mountain is at the turn of the Quase Wharf to Shuanglang less than one kilometer away. Every day, countless new couples come here to take wedding photos.
I have been to Dali several times, but this is the first time I have come to Luwo Mountain.
Only photographers like Xiaohe know of such a holy place for taking pictures.
After four o'clock in the afternoon every day is the best time to come to Luwo Mountain to take pictures, and you can take pictures of the light of Jesus in Erhai Lake.
The geomorphic features here are very peculiar, extending out to the cliffs, and the pictures are very large. No wonder so many wedding dress agencies like this place.
There is a piece of gravel sand under Luwo Mountain which surprised me even more.
The way down is very difficult, but when you see the scenery in front of you, you will feel that everything is worth it.
Climbing mountains and wading, just for a photo, this kind of happiness can only be experienced by oneself.
What else to go to Bali, Dali has such an amazing place.
The sun is about to set, the light is very soft, and there are layers of waves on the water. That scene is really beautiful.
When I met two super cute mules, I was confused at first, whether it was a horse or a donkey.
【California Route 1】
Walk along Haidong, and there are countless check-in points along the way. Stop and go, Erhai Lake can always encounter surprising scenery.
The California Highway 1 was also contracted by photographers. The yellow road signs are beautiful when the weather is good.
【Lover Cliff】
Lover's Cliff is a necessary road from Haidong to downtown Xiaguan. There are no accurate road signs, just look at the place where the most cars are parked.
There are many seagulls flying to Lover's Cliff in winter, and there is also a cave under the cliff, but I personally don't think it is as good-looking as the one under Luwo Mountain.
I found that other photographers have brought flashlights. There is still a gap between our tourist photos and professional wedding photos, but the trip is just here.
On the way back, I encountered a pink sunset. After staying in the city for a long time, I was always excited to see this kind of weather. I love the weather in Dali.
If you have time, come to Haidong to watch a sunset and a sunset, and the trip will be considered complete.
West Huanhai Road——every encounter is a surprise
West Huanhai Road leads to the other end of Erhai Lake, and every encounter is always full of surprises.
Majiuyi, Xizhou Ancient Town, Haitong Park, Taoyuan Village, Zhoucheng, these scenic villages and ancient towns are all connected by it, and the scenery on the west bank of Erhai Lake unfolds along it like a scroll.
Ma Jiuyi is a village of the Bai ethnic group located in the middle of the west bank of Erhai Lake. With the deepening of Dali tourism development, countless Internet celebrity hotels have been built here, and it has become a must-see destination for most people when they come to Dali.
I didn't take a good picture of Ma Jiuyi because of the road construction on Huanhai West Road before, but I was pleasantly surprised by the colors in front of me as soon as I got off the car.
【Majiuyi Grove】
Dali in November, although it is early winter, is still in early autumn, and you won’t feel cold even if you wear a skirt during the day.
Xiaohe and I praised the grove that we walked into unintentionally.
I don't know who left a chair, which looks very harmonious in the gap of the sun.
Walking into this woods, the mood also calmed down, retreating from the irritability of summer, and quietness became the only theme.
The sun makes the shadow of the tree very long, one leaf knows autumn, we are always too busy to go, but fortunately we did not miss this autumn scenery this time.
Walking along the path, being in it, you will be drunk with the autumn colors and enrich the mountains and forests.
When the autumn wind blows, the red leaves all over the ground, as if the morning glow sprinkled the ground, it is really beautiful.
【Crooked neck tree】
In the shallow sleeping area on both sides of the Erhai Lake, there are many dead trees standing in the water. Half of the dead trees look like ruins or some kind of relics. The mirror image in the water is its curved phantom.
Haixi's crooked neck tree has been heard for a long time, but I have been here a few times, but I can't tell which one is it.
The trees are coiled and crouching, the branches are strangely shaped, and the scene is empty, deep and quiet.
The Erhai Lake in the morning is always blue and intoxicating. No wonder everyone says that half of the beauty of Dali lies in the Erhai Lake.
【Channel】
Walk along West Huanhai Road, there are many photo spots along the way, most of which require payment.
There are always long water canals along the way, and Xiaohe and I caught them at a glance, and stopped to take a few pictures.
I like this extended frame very much. After walking around, I found that it is really difficult to go up.
In order to take pictures, the height of more than one meter can be overcome. I tried several times, but I always climbed up.
In front of the camera with a calm and composed look, I feel a little pretentious.
Many people expressed disdain for going out to play and taking a bunch of portraits.
I think that everyone has their favorite way of recording, and it is good to use the way you like while you are young and still active.
The sky was light and the wind was light, and the wide fields on both sides of the road were golden. I couldn't help but turned a corner and drove towards the path beside the road.
It was like reaping the joy of a good harvest, trotting along the field ridge, and plunged into the rice field.
The heavy rice ears made the rice stalks bend down, and a gust of wind blew up, setting off layers of rice waves, one layer after another, and finally connected into one piece, which is intoxicatingly beautiful.
The corner of his mouth unconsciously hummed Jay Chou's rice fragrance, and under the beautiful scenery, his mood became extremely open.
top 2 【Traveling the ancient city】
When you go deep into Cangshan Mountain and see the handsomeness of Dali, and experience its romance around the Erhai Lake, then you need to visit the ancient towns around Dali, discover the colorful Bai villages, and experience the local customs and customs here.
Dali Ancient City—See Utopia Again
Located at the foot of the beautiful Cangshan Mountain, the ancient city of Dali was the capital of the ancient Nanzhao Kingdom and Dali Kingdom. This is a place suitable for living. The locals work at sunrise and rest at sunset, and they grow flowers and plants to bask in the sun in their free time. In addition, the sun is bright and the temperature is suitable, which attracts countless tourists.
The hotel I stayed in the ancient city before was cave-style, and my best friend and I liked it very much. There is a large garden in the public area, which is very suitable for taking pictures.
Walking slowly from the hotel to the ancient city along Sanyue Street, Renmin Road and Foreigner Street in the ancient city of Dali are my two favorite streets. Dali in this season is blue sky and white clouds almost every day.
There are many special shops on Renmin Road, bars, coffee shops, clothing stores, etc. are very easy to visit.
Many people like the night in Dali, but I prefer the little freshness of the ancient city during the day.
Only at this time can you avoid the bustling crowds and appreciate the charm of these ancient buildings of the Bai nationality.
At a certain turning point, you may be able to meet a small shop with personality, and you will not be able to move your legs for a long time after walking in.
An alley on Renmin Road leads to the Catholic Church. Follow the navigation to enter, the alley becomes narrower and narrower, and the quietness is full of life.
At the corner of a section of red wall, a bougainvillea was in full bloom, and I couldn't help but stop to take two pictures.
This Catholic church has the characteristics of the Bai nationality. It was built in 1927, and it is the first time to come here so many times.
The architectural features of this church are unique. It is a national treasure that integrates local Bai cultural features, Han and Western architecture and other national features.
Walking into the church is like walking into an ancient gallery and museum. The north wall is covered with ancient and excellent Western paintings, and the south wall is inlaid with beautiful Chinese landscape ink paintings. There are three paintings on the front, and the middle one is the church. The miniature of it records its history and style.
After visiting the church, I met grandma who fried potato balls in the alley at the door. This potato ball was introduced to us by Mumu in Dali last time, and it is very delicious.
Go all the way to the end of Renmin Road, and you will reach Sanyue Street.
Every year on March 15th of the lunar calendar, it is held outside the west gate of the ancient city of Dali. The conference lasts for seven to ten days. If you have the opportunity, you can come and experience the fun from eating on the street to the end.
The ancient city of Dali is divided into four gates: East (Erhai Gate), West (Cangshan Gate), South (Dali Gate) and North Gate. .
The South City Gate is the city gate where Wuhua Building is located, and it is the only place where you can climb the city wall.
When you go up the city wall, you will find that this place is contracted by a wedding photography agency. It is very difficult to find a moment when no one is around to take a photo of a tourist.
I have been to Dali several times, but only climbed the city wall once. The wind in Dali should not be underestimated. In the evening on the city wall, it is really the rhythm of being blown crazy.
I thought I could walk around the city wall like Xi'an, but I didn't go far and found that I had to go back the same way, and the urge to lose weight ended.
When night falls, the ancient city of Dali seems to wake up from a dream. The moving melody on the street and the lively crowd become unique under the background of the lights.
I personally like to visit Dali very much. Every small shop has its own characteristics, especially the Bai embroidery pieces, which are rich in color and exquisite in workmanship.
The bars in Dali are concentrated in the section of Foreigner Street and Honglong Street, so it is also good to have a drink with friends. If you don't like the excitement, there are some folk songs on Renmin Road, the style and atmosphere are also excellent.
Xizhou Ancient Town - the most beautiful but the first sight
Every time I come to Dali, I will definitely go to Xizhou. This is the village that I think has the most flavor of the Bai people.
Xizhou is located 18 kilometers north of the ancient city of Dali, with Erhai Lake in the east and Cangshan Mountain in the west. It is an important town inhabited by the Bai people. It is an important commercial town for the Bai people. There are a group of businessmen who are good at doing business, called "Xizhou Gang".
With the development of tourism in the past two years, the streets are filled with embroidery and tie-dye with Bai ethnic characteristics. Entering from the door is more like walking into a local market.
Tie-dye is a special feature of Dali. Almost every household sells something different. If you like it, you can take a piece home.
The fried yams in the ancient town are my favorite. I would buy a bowl when I pass by. I don’t care about the so-called lady image. Only by eating while walking can I express my love for Yunnan potatoes.
The first time I came to Xizhou was in 2015. At that time, there were not many tourists in Xizhou Ancient Town, and it felt like I had contracted this place.
Colorful tie-dye, yellow walls, I took a lot of favorite photos inside.
There are the most preserved and best Bai folk residential buildings here. From the layout point of view, it is a typical Bai courtyard pattern of "three squares and one screen wall" and "four-in-one five patios".
These dwellings are colorfully decorated with carved beams and painted buildings, overlapping bucket arches, angled eaves, gate towers, screen walls, and gable walls, fully reflecting the architectural talent and artistic creativity of the Bai people.
Against the backdrop of the blue sky and green mountains, there are winding and complicated patterns on the corners of the wall eaves, which is very beautiful. In the deep house and compound, the time in the world is endless, and the alleys and alleys also have a deep meaning. The locals set up small stalls at the door, and strolling in the ancient city is the best time.
Xizhou Baba is a special snack in Xizhou, the main raw material is flour. The taste is sweet and salty. Xizhou Baba is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It is very popular among people. You must try it when you come to Xizhou.
Recently, I found that the price of Baba has risen from 5 yuan to 10 yuan each. The rapid development of tourism has both good and bad.
After crossing Sifang Street, walk along the trail on the left to reach the entrance of the village. Most of them are old buildings with a long history, but they have a different taste in my eyes.
When visiting the ancient town, you can choose mountain carts or horse-drawn carriages. Many foreign tourists come here to choose to go on a horse and watch the flowers. Now thinking about it, it is also a good way to visit.
This round building is a landmark building in Xizhou. I either missed it or encountered maintenance in the previous two visits. This time I finally took a picture of it.
When you walk to the entrance of the village, you will feel suddenly enlightened. This farmland has a different appearance every season. The pastoral scenery, poetry and distant places are all for you.
At this time last year, the field was full of garlic, a green patch, echoing the white walls and black tiles in the distance.
It was at noon when the sun was at its maximum, and Paris and I tried to take a group of photos under the light. We really liked the scenery here.
My little friend has come to Dali more times. I saw her take photos of the rice fields here, and she is so beautiful that I have no friends.
Recently, He Xiaohe came to Xizhou again, and wanted to take a picture of the golden rice field in front of the door, but he missed it perfectly.
Many people's impression of Xizhou is related to this yellow wall, which can be regarded as a check-in spot for Internet celebrities.
Inside the yellow wall is Xilin Garden, which was once called Yangjiayuan. The courtyard is a wonderful flower in the history of Chinese Bai people's residential buildings.
An American's "love letter" to China, today's Xilin Garden has become the most famous hotel brand in Dali thanks to the efforts of an American couple.
The walls are painted with whitewash, and "flowers" are arranged in geometric figures on the cornices and corners for flowers and birds, landscapes, poems, calligraphy and paintings of literati, which has a fresh and elegant taste.
You can visit it for free before 5:00 pm every day. This courtyard can be said to be a masterpiece of Bai architecture, and it is soaked in the original owner's painstaking efforts from design to construction. It has been more than 60 years since it was completed in 1948, and it is still very strong.
The former Dali Municipal Government designated it as a municipal cultural relic protection unit. In 1987, the provincial government designated it as a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit. In June 2001, it was listed as a national-level cultural relic protection single household by the State Council.
There are three courtyards in the courtyard: "Yang Pinxiang House", "Yang Zhuoran Courtyard" and "Baocheng Mansion". When many foreigners come to Dali, they will live there for a few days to experience the authentic local life. International schools from all over the world often cooperate with Xilinyuan to do educational projects or theme research.
There is an ancient stage at the entrance of the ancient town, where local villagers gather to dance every evening.
The Bawang whip of the Bai nationality has various routines, and there are hundreds of styles of play. This is the most dazzling square dance of the nation.
Zhoucheng - a characteristic village of the Bai people
Known as the "Hometown of Bai People's Tie-Dye", Zhoucheng is the largest natural village in Yunnan Province, and almost all of them are Bai people.
Zhoucheng is not only famous for the Butterfly Spring in its territory, but also because various traditional customs of the Bai people are still well preserved here, so it is known as "the living fossil of the folk customs of the Bai people".
Here you can visit the Bai folk houses, the market, the production of Bai tie-dye, experience the Bai wedding, taste Bai flavor food, and buy Bai folk handicrafts.
I went to Xizhou with my friends and found that the original tie-dye wall was gone, so I came to Zhoucheng to take pictures of tie-dye.
The tie-dye museum in Zhoucheng is the largest tie-dye workshop here, and there are many tourists learning and experiencing tie-dyeing with local grandmothers.
Tie-dye cloth is made by hand-stitching and repeatedly cold-dyeing. Each piece is different. The handicrafts made with tie-dye cloth are full of strong ethnic flavor, which is very interesting.
There are many tie-dye finished products in the museum, and you can buy one directly after you like it. Every piece of tie-dye cloth is different, and sometimes it needs fate.
There are a wide variety of tie-dye handicrafts here, such as tablecloths, cushions, coasters, bed towels, etc., and you can find a satisfactory one to take home.
In Zhoucheng, everyone from 10-year-old girls to sixty-year-old grandmothers can wear cloth. This traditional skill should be learned and spread by more young people.
top 3 Shangcang Mountain
Cangshan Mountain is the main peak at the southern end of the Yunling Mountains. It is composed of 19 peaks from north to south. It starts from Eryuan Dengchuan in the north and ends at Tiansheng Bridge in Xiaguan in the south.
The majestic and majestic Cangshan Mountain stretches across the territory of Dali. The top of the mountain is covered with snow and covered with silver makeup, so it is called "Cangshan Snow".
The snow in Cangshan, which never disappears in summer, is the most famous "wind, flowers, snow and moon".
Jizhao Temple - Listening to the rainy season
Jizhao Nunnery, located in Dali, gets its name from "sensation and understanding, silence and reflection". The temple is covered by tall and dense green pines and ancient cypresses, surrounded by cigarettes, surrounded by tens of thousands of pines and cypresses, and the environment is quiet.
The yard is full of all kinds of succulents and flowers, it is simply a big garden. Jizhao nunnery is even known as "the smallest monastery in China" and "the most beautiful nunnery".
TIPS: 20 minutes walk from Gantong Temple.
No tickets, 20 yuan per person for vegetarian meals.
The first time I came to Jizhao Nunnery was brought by Mu Mu, a friend of Dali.
After taking Didi, the driver dropped us off halfway up the mountain. Most tourists go to Gantong Temple, and Jizhao Temple has to walk up from a small road next to it.
It took about 20 minutes to arrive here. It was raining lightly all the time, and the bluestone slabs were washed brightly in the rain.
It is said that this nunnery was first built in the early Republic of China, and was rebuilt by Tang Jiyao, the governor of Yunnan during the Republic of China. The word Jizhao nunnery on the doorplate was written by Tang Jiyao.
When I saw Jizhao Temple for the first time, I was very excited.
I have never seen such a beautiful succulent plant. Each pot is carefully designed, like a work of art. The camellias in the yard are blooming in full bloom, showing a vibrant look.
There are paragraphs of Zen words written on the gables on both sides. The nunnery is full of flowers, clean and quiet. In the courtyard, in front of the steps, even under the eaves and between the walls, there are blooming flowers everywhere.
Although the yard is not big, it is surrounded by all kinds of plants. It reminds me of the reclusive tall man in the novel, probably living in such a place.
Sitting down in the next hut, looking at the garden quietly, as if the world is quiet, I just want to sit down and listen to the rain in a daze.
The succulents washed by the rain are more vibrant, bright and tender.
The entire main hall of Jizhao Nunnery is spotless. Although the temple is not big, it shows humanistic concepts and careful planning and placement everywhere.
Although this is a traditional temple, there is no smell of incense here. Just like what Master Miaohui said here: The Buddha lacks nothing, he doesn’t care about your incense sticks, but he cares about your sincerity.
It was raining all the time, but I was in a very good mood. For the first time, I felt that visiting a place on a rainy day would feel so good.
There is a vegetarian meal in the courtyard, 20 yuan per person, a lot of vegetarian dishes, you can add it after you finish eating.
Accidentally filled a bowl, as Mu Mu said, the vegetarian food here is really delicious. What I want to remind is to eat as much as you eat during the vegetarian meal, and don't waste it.
When I went out, the rain did not stop, as if I had visited an expert outside the world, and it seemed as if I had never been here before, like a scene in a dream.
Taoxi Valley - a paradise in the heart
In Taoxi Valley on Cangshan Mountain, there is a place called Mo Cui Tea Room.
When I heard this name for the first time, I thought it was opened by a Sichuanese. In Sichuan, "Mo Cui" means don't worry.
Feeling the slowing down of time in Mocui Tea Room is the way to open up life in Dali.
Mo Cui Tea Room is located in Taoxi Valley, which is closed to traffic. Master Didi dropped us off at the fire checkpoint halfway up the mountain.
It takes about twenty minutes to walk from here to the tea room.
The first time I saw Mo Cui Tea House, I thought it looked like a paradise in my heart.
There is a tea garden in front of the gate, where you can overlook the Three Pagodas of Dali and Erhai Lake, the scenery is picturesque.
This building is Mo Cui Tea Room. There were originally several guest rooms in it, but it was closed due to environmental protection.
It is said that the tea room is still open for business. Whether it is rainy or sunny, coming here to drink tea and enjoy the scenery must be the best experience.
Trapped by a rain, sit down and feel the pure time. The rain had no intention of stopping, and I had no choice but to go down the mountain with my friends, but I kept thinking about it in my heart.
The next day, Paris and I came again.
The two took photos in the tea garden, and the boss recognized at a glance that we had been here yesterday, and it can only be blamed for the beauty of the place.
Before Qingming, it is the season of the best quality of tea, and the whole person suddenly becomes enlightened when the weather is good.
I was willing to leave after taking a group photo with my friends. If you have time, you must come here to see the scenery of Dali from different perspectives.

Surroundings of the Ancient City——Flower Shooting Raiders
I went to Pai County in Thailand before and thought it was so beautiful. This time I walked around in Dali and found that Pai County is very interesting. It is very interesting to play without going abroad in the future. We have sorted out a few places suitable for taking pictures and shared them with you.
【Purple flower sea】
Cai Village next to the ancient city of Dali is a good place to take pictures of flowers. Cai Village is located on Huanhai West Road in Dali, and it is also the closest place in Haixi to the ancient city.
You can rent a battery car in the ancient city. There are many flower fields here. If you only take pictures, the price is 10-15 yuan per person.
Verbena is very similar to lavender, and it looks great when the weather is good.
Flowering period: May-October every year
Verbena is generally planted in rows. It is recommended to take pictures at an angle, so that it will appear more flowers.
Wearing a light-colored skirt will match the environment better. After years of experience, white is the last thing you can go wrong.
Because my friends and I went there in the morning, the light in Yunnan is very hard after 10 o'clock in the morning. If you want to take pictures with a sense of skin transparency, you can avoid direct sunlight. As long as it is not in the evening, it will look good when you shoot against the light.
There are also a lot of props here, the picture frame is the same as the white table of Haitian life, remember to make good use of the surrounding scenes.
The interior of the garden is very large, and many small scenes are designed, each of which is easy to produce.
There are many wrought iron chairs in the garden, and the photos are like comics. I wish I had a garden like this in my backyard. Of course, I just think about it...
There are many varieties of roses in the garden. I don't know much about flowers, so I don't care about them. Anyway, they are very beautiful.
There is also a piece of verbena in the herb garden, and you and your friends can play in this garden for an afternoon.
【Flower Forever Rose Manor】
The rose garden that was previously planted by a small partner is in Majiuyi Village on Huanhai West Road, called Huaban Lifetime Rose Life Museum.
Every year around May is the best time for roses to bloom. There is an afternoon tea here, the flower cakes and flower cookies are super delicious.
If time permits, you can also experience the process of picking flowers and making flower cakes by yourself, but you need to make an appointment in advance.
There are a lot of fresh roses in the yard, and the ones sold in the store are just like this. It is said that there are no additives and no pigments, and it is good for girls and beauty.
My little friend brought me here, but within a few days, almost half of the dense roses in the photo fell off. Who understands the baby's mood at the moment.
I’ve come all the time, and I’ve been forced to take a few photos because of my obsession. It seems that the greater the hope, the greater the disappointment.
There is a blue car in the garden, which is also very nice to take pictures. In the afternoon, the sun slanted on the Cangshan Mountain, and it became very gentle.
Dali is really best to take pictures after five o'clock. The light at this time is very soft, and the pictures look good.
The staff of the Rose Garden saw that my friends and I had been taking pictures here, and came over to ask why we didn't get on the roof.
The scene of climbing the top of the mountain was really embarrassing. It was only when I saw the photos that I realized why everyone likes to take pictures from high places.
It costs about 10 yuan to take a taxi from the ancient city of Dali to Dali University. It was the first time I went to Dali University, but it was raining.
The second time I came, because of the good weather, the mood of the whole person became different.
The cherry blossoms here belong to the family Rosaceae. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the cherry blossom trees on both sides of the campus dance with the wind. This kind of campus environment is really great.
Students in this school can enjoy the cherry blossoms after class, which will probably be the most unforgettable memory of the university years.
Dali University is open to the public for free, and many locals and tourists come here admiringly, sitting on the ground under the cherry blossom trees, admiring the flowers and basking in the sun.
Thinking about the most carefree time is when I was studying, I envy the students of Dali University, the campus environment is so good.
I took two sister's Hanfu before and planned to take a set at Dali University. I tied my own hair, and my sister complained about it being unprofessional, not a Hanfu control, so the requirements should not be too high.
There is also a piece of peach blossoms in full bloom behind the cherry blossom forest. Some time ago, I was fascinated by watching Sansheng III, and it was good to take a few photos under the peach blossom tree.
There are a lot of people watching cherry blossoms, but everyone is not too impressed with the peach blossoms in the back, but I personally think that the peach blossoms are also very beautiful when photographed.
2??The ancient city of Weishan——Seeking the roots of ancient Nanzhao
If my friend hadn't taken me to the Snack Festival in Weishan Ancient Town, I probably wouldn't even know that there is such a place in Yunnan.
This "ancient Nanzhao" has endless stories. This is an architectural museum, enough for you to appreciate slowly.
In the market, the surrounding ethnic minority villagers in costumes will pass you by, and you will be dazzled by the choice of hundreds of local specialty snacks.
Traffic guide: Take the No. 4 bus from Dali Ancient City to Xiaguan, and then take the shuttle bus at Weishan Station to Weishan. It takes about 50 minutes to drive by yourself, and it takes an hour and a half by car.
We went from Dali Ancient Town to Weishan Ancient Town for about 2 hours, because many people in the snack festival will encounter traffic jams.
Weishan Ancient City is located in Weishan County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is an ancient city with strong local historical and cultural characteristics. It is the birthplace of Nanzhao Kingdom and a famous historical and cultural city in China.
The Weishan Snack Festival has been held since 2011 and has been held for seven consecutive years. I saw the most interesting long table banquet on the Internet, but I didn't know until I arrived that it was only available on the opening day.
The snack festival is crowded with people, but tourists only account for a small part. Most of them are villagers of various ethnic minorities in the surrounding areas, and this is more like a big market for local people.
The shops on both sides of the street are all marked with uniform prices. Most of them are purely handmade and have a variety of varieties. It is a good news for foodies.
Among the snacks in Weishan, shredded meat bait, noodles, and roll noodles are very famous. I tried them all at the market, and it can be said that they are cheap and high-quality.
You must try the sweet wine made by this old lady. My grandma can also make it, but the taste is still very different from the sweet wine here. This kind of sweet wine has more glutinous rice and has a softer taste.
There is also a Confucian Temple in the ancient city of Weishan, which seems to be a ticket of 5 yuan.
In the west gate of the ancient city, it was built in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1398). The Confucian Temple is large in scale, facing north and south, with a screen wall in front and a marble plaque of "Wanren Palace Wall" on it.
In Weishan Ancient Town, I can't tell what kind of feeling it is, you will feel like you have traveled through time.
You can feel the simple folk customs and profound cultural heritage here.
There are antique shops with exquisite wood carvings and utensils on the side of the street; a shaving barber shop with a chair and a mirror; a snack shop with traditional crafts;
People of all ethnic minorities dressed up in costumes and walked harmoniously on the street, buying needed items. It's like a scene that can only be seen in TV dramas.
The uncle who came to the teahouse to drink tea looked very calm facing the camera.
An old man was selling the herbs he picked on the street, wearing a pair of sunglasses, neatly dressed, with a dashing demeanor.
Gongchen Tower is the landmark building of Weishan Ancient Town. It is built on the 8.5-meter-high city wall. It is a songshan-style building with double eaves. It has five rooms with a width of 28 meters, a depth of 17 meters, and a height of 16 meters.
You can go up the tower, and you can take a panoramic view of a part of the ancient city on it, with a good view.
If you want to feel the market of local people in Dali, besides Sanyue Street in Dali Ancient Town, I personally think Weishan Ancient Town is a very good choice.
If time permits, I will stay for two days next time. It would be even better if you can experience the long banquet of the locals.
Wulongba Windmill Mountain
I have been to Dali several times, and every time there will be new gains. I saw the photos of Dali's Windmill Mountain on the Internet, and I wanted to pull the weeds.
However, the oolong dam in reality is really oolong.
In November, the wind in Dali was very strong, and I didn't feel much in the ancient city until I arrived at Wulongba.
Here are some favorite shooting spots for wedding photography studios. When the weather is good, the photos are really good.
Alpine meadows, windmills, mountain peaks, flocks of cattle and sheep, overlooking Erhai Lake, sunset...
What a beautiful picture!
Driving from the homestay, the mountain road is rugged, and it takes nearly two hours to reach the top of the mountain.
I was so excited along the way, until the moment I got out of the car, I was blown by the wind and wanted to leave every minute. In the Sichuan saying, "I'm so cold to death."
The clothes are too thin, and Xiaohe can only hide behind the stone and tremble when adjusting the camera. The picture is too beautiful, imagine it by yourself.
The background is clearly blue sky and white clouds, but we took pictures of the feeling of heavy rain falling, and the dark cloud above the head, it just didn't disperse.
Friendly reminder: Come to Fengche Mountain in the morning, don’t think about it if the weather is bad.
If the weather is good, the film here is really good. There is a saying that it is all coming, so let’s force it.
"Blow, blow, my pride indulges, blow and blow will not ruin my hair
Let the wind blow, let it be chaotic, the indestructible is me, the prospect of the end"
Walking into a valley, I finally saw the legendary flock of sheep and ran towards them. The sheep were frightened by me, who was slightly fat, and fled in all directions. I must have opened it in the wrong way today.
The almighty classmate Xiaohe still captured a seemingly harmonious photo for me, otherwise I could only cry silently.
The windmill here is very big. Standing under the windmill, it is clear that the clouds are moving, but it feels like the windmill is shaking, which is a bit scary.
It took me an afternoon to take pictures with the windmills. Unfortunately, there are some. I hope this lesson can prevent you from falling into the pit.
Next time you have a chance, you must come again at the right time and with the right outfit.
