At the beginning, I said Chaoyang, even I didn't know where it was? Not the Chaoyang District in Beijing, but Chaoyang City in Liaoning, which once originated from the meaning of "Phoenix Chaoyang" in the "Book of Songs" in the Qing Dynasty.

The thousand-year-old capital, with its beautiful sunrise, attracts me with its rich history and magical ancient ruins. Come with me and walk into this beautiful place.

Aircraft: Chaoyang currently has domestic flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian, etc. For example, Shanghai needs to stop in Dalian.

Railway: Chaoyang Railway Station is affiliated to Jinzhou Branch of Shenyang Railway Bureau and is one of the larger stations on the Jincheng Railway. There are seven pairs of passenger express trains connecting Chaoyang City directly to Beijing, Dandong, Dalian, Shenyang, Chengde, Chifeng, Qinhuangdao and other cities.

Highway: There are 10 national and provincial arterial roads in Chaoyang. It takes 4 hours to reach Beijing by car from the expressway, and 40 minutes to Jinzhou Bijiashan Port.

DAY1:幸好没有延误,赶上了去看世界上第一只鸟起飞的地方

Autumn is my favorite season. This season I came to Chaoyang, walked along the golden road, and felt the charm of the sun.

When I got off the plane, I drove to Fossil Bird National Geological Park. This is the place where the first bird took off and the first flower bloomed in the world. Are you looking forward to it? Come here with me.

The Tyrannosaurus rex warmly welcomed me as soon as I entered the door. My favorite is the shape of the dinosaur pulling a rickshaw, which is extremely cute.

At first I thought they were dry trees, but after the introduction of the guide, I realized that these strange trees are a fossil forest composed of more than 1,200 wood fossils. The first petrified forest.

The miraculous species that have been preserved in this way for so many years really need us to protect them.

The earliest birds and flowering plants in the world have been discovered here, including a large number of fossil specimens of dinosaurs, reptiles, fish, and plants, which will definitely open your eyes.

Entering here, you will be surrounded by Shangheshou Paleontological Fossil Park, Sihetun Paleontological Fossil Park, Lingyuan Dazhangzi Park (both are the main origins of the famous "Rehe Biota" fossils), Fenghuangshan Park and Huaishdong Scenic Area composition.

The Paleontological Fossil Museum is the main indoor exhibition hall here, displaying fossil specimens of various plants, fish, reptiles, amphibians, insects, birds and other animals that lived here 120 million years ago. Fossils such as Huaxia Bird, Confucius Bird, and Sinosauropteryx are the most precious.

After being restored by archaeologists, the fossils are now displayed in a very complete state before our eyes.

Looking down from the second floor, you can see the petrified specimens of dinosaurs. These are all real, especially big ones.

The place where the first flower blooms is the petrified specimen of the ancient Chinese fruit. I feel that this place is really a good place to entertain and teach.

Taking the small scenic train, we went to the most important place of this station.

What is presented here is the largest indoor geological section in my country and the only Mesozoic fossil section in the world.

On the northern hills of the park, there is a geological corridor with the representative paleontological fossil Lingyuan Qianlong designed with a facing sun lying prone.

You can walk on the steps and corridors to closely observe the geological sections of Mesozoic fossils, as well as the footprints of ancient life that lived in the western Liaoning area.

This is the scene of the exploration. Thinking of the scenes in the movie, archaeological researchers are working hard here.

Going down the stairs, you can get a close look at the real body of these fossils, which is really a feast for the eyes.

Address: No. 100, Longniao Street, Longcheng District, Chaoyang City

transportation:

In Chaoyang City, you can take bus No. 11 Ring, No. 12 Inner Ring, No. 12 Outer Ring, and No. 15 to Geopark Station;

In front of Chaoyang Railway Station, you can take No. 12 Outer Ring Road to the park.

DAY2: Explore the world in the North and South Pagodas, and take a walk in the Great Black Mountain

It was already very cold in the Northeast in October. I was wearing a thin windbreaker, and when I saw that the uncles and aunts around me were actually wearing cotton coats and down jackets, I sniffed and sneezed.

Seeing devout people burning incense and worshiping Buddha here, an uncle told me to walk around the pagoda three times.

It was a national key cultural relic protection unit in 1988, much older than me.

The North Pagoda is a thirteen-level brick pagoda with dense eaves, which is composed of a rammed earth base, a brick base, a Xumi seat, a tower body, a tower eaves, and a brake top. On the main structure of the pagoda, there are brick carvings on the four sides of the Tantric Four Square Buddha, the Eight Bodhisattvas, the Twenty-Four Flying Apsaras, the Eight Great Spirit Pagodas and the names of the pagodas, which are exquisite and fascinating.

Climbing up to the North Tower, you can overlook the South Tower on the same horizontal axis and the flow of people on Murong Street.

It can be seen that when the craftsmen built it at that time, the carvings of bricks and tiles were very exquisite and complicated.

There are pilgrims here in every place around it, which shows that the appeal and influence of the North Tower are well-known all over the world.

Walking into the tower, you can see that this is the most original style of the wooden tower base.

There are still carvings and paintings on the wall from that year. Walk into the underground palace with me, because it is very narrow and only one person can pass through.

It is closed here, and you can see that it looks like this inside.

The Liao Dynasty stone scripture building unearthed from the underground palace is tall and perfect, and is known as "the first building in the Northeast".

Walking out of the North Tower and heading to the museum, I heard the sound of waist drums. It turned out that there was a team of hundreds of people, which was very spectacular.

The gilded silver pagoda, gold and silver scripture pagoda and Persian glass bottle unearthed in 1988 were identified as national treasures.

Other Buddhist cultural relics such as exquisite gold and silver wares, gorgeous and colorful agate wares, gorgeous glass wares, crystal clear crystal wares and exquisite jade wares are rare in the country.

The excavation and cleaning of the North Tower unearthed thousands of rare treasures. The reappearance of the two Buddha Sakyamuni's real body relics is another major discovery of Buddhist archeology after the Famen Temple in Shaanxi in 1987, which caused a sensation at home and abroad.

The smallest one on the right is the relics, and they are loaded one by one into the gilt gold and silver scripture tower on the far left.

The unearthed cultural relics here are relatively early, the earliest from the Stone Age, which is of great research significance.

Chaoyang North Tower

Transportation: Bus: Take bus No. 5 or No. 15 and get off at Beita Station.

Walking on Murong Street, we continue to walk towards the South Tower. As I just said, this place is on a central axis, and the scales are all in the same proportion.

Although it is not a rest day, there are really a lot of people who come here to visit, and I just came here after the National Day.

Walk into the Chaoyang Museum to find out, it is also very big inside, if you like it, you can save more time.

From the first 21st century to the 18th dynasties starting from Xia Dynasty, coupled with the addition of Khitan, Mongolian, Tongliao and other cultures, the cultural relics unearthed here are very representative.

There are also the most prosperous Tang Dynasty female figurines here to show the colors and appearances of different periods.

Ceramics have distinctive features in different eras, ranging from round to square shapes.

Because it was discovered and unearthed in Chaoyang, it has a history of more than a thousand years earlier than previous research.

Guess what this is, it is said that men used this to curl their hair at that time, do you know?

After reading the mysteries in the North and South Towers and the museum, walk into Daheishan, Green Island, Liaoxi with me, and feel the charm of autumn.

Daheishan is a scenic spot characterized by strange rocks, strange peaks, green barriers, flowers and fruits, hot springs, and there are many animals and plants here. After taking a 20-minute cable car, our group arrived at the plank road of Daheishan.

The park protection area is divided into four scenic spots: apricot forest at spring dawn, black mountain smoke tree, deep haze, and beautiful peaks. The main landscapes include forest vegetation landscape, forest flower landscape, landform landscape, stream and valley landscape, and cultural landscape.

A maple leaf makes me feel the autumn colors of Northeast China, which is also my favorite season.

Walking on the plank road that comes and goes, there are more than 100 tourist attractions such as Xinghua Villa, Huining Temple, Hot Spring Sanatorium, Guanlu Garden, Wulan Pavilion and so on.

Daheishan has undulating mountains, many strange peaks, dense forests, and a wide variety of animals and plants. And every mountain has its own name, and your relatives can also name it.

Many tourists hang their good wishes here.

At the same time, Daheishan is also a mountain-type forest park characterized by "quietness" and "wild interest", which integrates six natural images of "majestic, strange, dangerous, beautiful, secluded and open", and focuses on natural landscapes.

Therefore, this is the largest green land in western Liaoning, known as the green pearl on the border of Liaoning and Mongolia.

Strolling on the plank road, feeling the autumn style brought to us by the good scenery and good weather.

Daheishan National Forest Park

Address: National Highway 305, Northwest of Beipiao City, Chaoyang City

Transportation: Take the shuttle bus to Beipiao in Chaoyang City, or take the shuttle bus to Daheishan directly at the long-distance bus station in the urban area.

When we came to the bridge over the Daling River, we could feel the dim lights of Wanjia at night by the river.

DAY3: See the Hongshan culture and walk into the Goddess Temple at the Niuheliang site, and make a Kazuo purple sand pot by yourself

I went to Chifeng a few years ago, and I have a superficial understanding of Hongshan culture, so this trip to Niuheliang is another step in my understanding of Hongshan culture. In 2006, it was included in the preliminary list of China's world cultural heritage.

Niuheliang Hongshan Cultural Site is located in the 10,000-acre pine forest. It is evergreen in winter and summer, with fresh air and elegant environment, and still has the original style.

The Niuheliang Hongshan Cultural Site is located on a multi-mountain ridge stretching for more than 10 kilometers in a mountainous area in western Liaoning. On the rolling hills within a range of 50 square kilometers, there are regularly distributed altars, goddess temples and stone tombs. , and they form a large-scale religious sacrifice center.

In the well-arranged stone mounds, the tombs are divided into several levels centered on the large tomb, and the burial objects are only jade objects. The main types are realistic and deified pig-dragon, bear-dragon, phoenix-bird, tortoise and other animal-shaped jade ornaments, horseshoe-shaped jade hoops that run through up and down, and cloud-shaped jade pendants decorated with faintly visible patterns that change with the light. The rows of painted pottery cylinders on the stone tomb are all tools used by the owner of the tomb to communicate with the gods.

The Temple of the Goddess, the Stone Tomb, and the site of a large earthen platform are representative buildings of the Niuheliang Cultural Site.

The three sites are distributed along the north-south axis according to the mountain situation. The altar, temple and tomb are trinity, with a grand scale and majestic momentum. They are the highest level sacrificial center of Hongshan culture.

It provides a wealth of material materials for the origin of Chinese civilization of 5,000 years, the activities of representative figures such as the Yellow Emperor in the north in ancient times, and the research on the history of religion, architecture, and art.

In the professor's explanation, I learned that this place was not destroyed by any natural phenomenon, and it was built directly on the ground, not a tomb with a deep hole.

Looking down from the top, the pits starting with M number 1-30 are all here.

Here are the photos presented inside the protection exhibition hall of the second site of Niuheliang site.

After visiting the exhibition hall, we walked for 2 kilometers. The scenery along the way was super beautiful, and we arrived at the Goddess Temple.

The Goddess Temple is not yet a formal scenic spot, so you need to walk, but the beautiful scenery along the way is boundless.

Everyone here likes to wrap red cloth strips around the roots of green trees.

Walking into the exhibition hall, you can see a cross-shaped display picture, and the one on the far right is a re-engraved goddess head.

From the pictures taken from the upper and lower sides, we can see that the original unearthed position is like this.

Niuheliang Hongshan Cultural Site

Address: Junction of Jianping County and Lingyuan City, Chaoyang City

Transportation: Take the minibus from Lingyuan to Niuheliang, the fare is 5.5 yuan. 35-40 minutes by car. Every hour. If there is a passing taxi, you can take a taxi for about 10 yuan per person.

A big red brush sailboat in the Longyuan Lake tourist area attracted my attention. This is the first open scenic spot in Liaoning Province to create a scene of landscape ecology and urban civilization.

For those who have time, you can take a cruise to experience the beauty of the ecology here, seagulls fly all the way, and the fountain shines with rainbow light.

It is really a dreamlike feeling that makes people refreshed. By the way, it is also a gathering place for many major festivals.

Follow the master and me in Kazuo to make a purple clay pot

Chinese people love to drink tea, and the key is to pair good tea with a purple clay pot. Kazuo's purple clay teapots have a variety of shapes, which is also a major local feature.

The mineral materials used to make purple sand pots in Kazuo are very rich, and there are many colors such as purple red, purple brown, vermilion and so on.

To make a purple sand pot, you need to select raw materials → process raw materials (weathering → crushing → screening → mud refining → stale) → forming → decoration → firing → polishing. After completing these complicated crafts, you can see a single product with perfect shape.

Here I made a purple clay teapot with my own hands, and I feel that the craftsmen are very careful in making it.

Every moment of fine grinding, every place of polishing and setting, can produce a beautifully crafted purple clay teapot.

The current purple clay teapot technology, after years of precipitation and skill improvement, has a variety of shapes and is suitable for various collections.

Many of the purple clay teapots here have won gold medals, and they are very beautiful in shape.

Especially for such a cute little animal, isn't it the time to eat hairy crabs, hahaha it's awesome.

There is a phoenix in Phoenix Mountain, and the relics of the two Buddhas are enshrined here.

Fenghuang Mountain, with luxuriant forests and beautiful peaks, is not only a famous historical mountain in western Liaoning, but also a famous Buddhist holy place in Yan and Liao Dynasties. Its highest peak is 660 meters above sea level.

Phoenix Mountain can be driven up the mountain, so there is no need to walk too much. The red carpet is on the steps here, and we climb up the steps.

As early as 1660, King Murong Huangguang of Yan built the earliest Buddhist temple in Northeast China, Longxiang Buddhist Temple, on Phoenix Mountain. It became the first Buddhist temple in Northeast China. After the construction of generations, three pagodas (the existing Moyun Pagoda, Dabao Pagoda, and Lingxiao Pagoda were rebuilt after collapse) and four temples (Yanshou Temple, Tianqing Temple, Yunjie Temple, and Huayan Temple no longer exist) formed the main body of ancient buildings. , In addition, there are the cliff Buddhist niches of the Northern Wei Dynasty, the eighteen incense trays on the ancient road of the Liao Dynasty, the inverted Guanyin Cave and the ancient cave of the reclining Buddha in the Qing Dynasty.

The wind blows copper bells and rings, colorful scriptures and mantles dance, listening to the explanation of history, and the relic of Shakyamuni Buddha is here.

Moyun Pagoda is located on the mountainside of the main peak of Fenghuang Mountain. It is a thirteen-level brick pagoda with dense eaves, square and solid. The ancient pagoda in Yunjie Temple is tall and straight, with exquisite carving techniques. The main buildings in Tianqing Temple are Guanyin Hall, Stele Pavilion and East and West Wing Rooms.

All kinds of landscapes are natural and interesting. In addition, Fenghuang Mountain with lush vegetation is also an important habitat for the national endangered and rare bird black stork.

Taking pictures here is also a very good scene. By the way, I asked for an explanation. The temples here are like this. There are nuns stationed on the mountainside and at the foot of the mountain, but the place where the nuns live is either a nunnery or a temple, and the monks on the mountain are eminent monks.

Phoenix Mountains

Address: Puti Road, Shuangta District, Chaoyang City

Transportation: Take the bus and get off at Fenghuangshan Shanmen Station, and you can walk there.

There are more beautiful scenery in Chaoyang waiting for you to come and walk in one by one. For example, Tianyou Temple, which is wearing a red cloak at the entrance, is said to be made for it by local people.

It is reported that it was built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. According to history, it should be a Tibetan Buddhist temple, most of which are modern reconstructions. Only the steps in front of the Jialan Hall and the Daxiong Hall can be seen as ancient ruins.

Youshun Temple

Address: No. 338-24, North Street, Shuangta District, Chaoyang City
Transportation: Take bus No. 10 to the railway station

Having said so much, let's talk about Chaoyang's delicacies. The products here are very rich, and its diet combines the characteristics of Manchu, Hui, Mongolian and Han. While continuing the delicious food, it also spreads the cultural traditions of ethnic minorities.

Needless to say, traditional cold cakes, sliced cakes, bowls, tofu nao, there are also special delicacies such as noodles, Sanzi, steamed donkey meat dumplings with buckwheat noodles, Huaihua burrata, and Yuqian pancakes.

It is said that it is a cake that has won a silver award. I must have one.

The mung bean cake is put into boiled water by my companions, it can cool off in summer.

What I especially like about the green cabbage is that it is crunchy like a crusty bottom.

Although it's just a cucumber, the styling is a lady's hair accessory, have you noticed?

The big pig face is a major feature here. It is soft and delicious, rich in collagen, and tastes great.

What I like most in autumn and winter is to have a pot, with meat and shrimp, it should be such a wonderful moment.

Mutton is my favorite, but for the first time dipped in chili sauce, it has a special flavor.

Good moments are always so short, let us meet on the next trip.
