Zhijin Cave is an underground karst cave located in Guanzhai Miao Township, Zhijin County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province. It is located on the south bank of Liuchong River, one of the source streams of Wujiang River. It is 120 kilometers west of Guiyang, the provincial capital. The core scenic spot of the Geopark.

The proven length of Zhijin Cave is 12.7 kilometers, and the part that has been developed and opened to tourists is 4.3 kilometers, ranking third in the scale of karst caves in the world. It is a multi-level and multi-type karst cave. The widest part is 175 meters, and the relative height difference is more than 150 meters. The total volume of the cave is 5 million cubic meters. a hill.

Zhijin Cave is a typical dry cave. The huge hole swallows up tourists like ants.

I have traveled to many places and entered many caves, but Zhijin Cave gave me the shock of its collapsed cave hall, which I have never seen before. The largest cave hall covers an area of more than 30,000 square meters. According to different landscapes and characteristics, it is divided into welcome hall, lecture hall, Xuexiang Palace, Shouxing Palace, Guanghan Palace, Lingxiao Palace, Shiwanda Mountain, Tallinn Cave, Golden Rat Palace, Wangshan Lake, Water Town Zeguo, etc. There are 47 halls and more than 150 scenic spots in the scenic area.

Compared with other karst caves I have visited, the lights in Zhijin Cave are much less colorful. It is said that it is to let visitors see more of the true colors of lava and stones, rather than simply relying on lights to please tourists. But I think from the perspective of visual color perception, the slightly single lighting makes the details less exciting, but fortunately, it has the advantages of scale and vision.

Even so, some vivid and lifelike scenes can still make people breath-taking, feast their eyes and feel the charm of this trip. The underground palace of Zhijin Cave is not gorgeous and dazzling, but it is fresh and eye-catching enough.

The tour in the cave takes about two hours. Going out of the hole, if the tour is not over, the next place to go, you can choose Zhijin Grand Canyon or Wujiangyuan Baili Gallery with a more grand scene. Due to time constraints, we chose Wujiangyuan Baili Gallery. Driving 7.5 kilometers down the mountain, we came to a Yi village called Xiahongyan, which is a boat boarding point of Baili Gallery.

When the boat arrived at the pier, I saw that the water surface was stable, and the current was not as fast as expected. The Wujiang River seemed to be very tame. It turned out that the Dongfeng Hydropower Station was built on the upper reaches of the Wujiang River, and the completion of the reservoir gave the once unruly Wujiang River a bit of the style of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.

In late March, although it was mid-spring, the mountainous area of western Guizhou was still chilly every now and then. The temperature on this day was only about 5 degrees Celsius, but no matter what, it was already pink and willow green. The scenery on both sides of the strait is so charming, you can let the boatman come to the shore, and you can walk on the shore to collect the wind, as if you have broken into the peach blossom garden, quiet and silent, but there is vitality everywhere, surprises and surprises everywhere. interest.

The boat is flowing in the middle of the river, and the people are swimming in the middle of the painting. The boatman said that it is not the most beautiful season for the Baili Gallery. By May 1st, the vegetation on the mountain will be greener, the wild flowers on the mountain will be more colorful, and the water in the river will be brighter. The bigger it is, the more tourists there will be in the river...

Although we came early, our hearts were intoxicated before others, our eyes were brighter than others, and our faces were smiling before others...
