   Once on a business trip, I traveled to the mountains and rivers of Yunnan. Since then, I have been thinking about it. I hope to have the opportunity to walk the road of Yunnan again, to see the landscape and human history that I have not experienced before.

       Finally, I have the opportunity to set foot on the land of Yunnan, which has been dreamed of countless times, and go to the front line of western Yunnan to appreciate the unspeakable beauty.

Kunming in winter

     Despite the coldest weather of the year, winter in Kunming is still a paradise for flowers and birds. A tree in full bloom at the entrance of the hotel welcomes us. And the Red-billed Gull, who came all the way from Siberia, came to Spring City like an old friend.

     The first thing I did when I left my luggage was to find a car and visit old friends who came from afar. I always remember that there is an infinity pool in Daguanlou Park. When the sun sets, it is very beautiful to appreciate the sunset. A beautiful blockbuster, so the destination was chosen here without hesitation. Unfortunately, the pool is being repaired and maintained, so let's borrow two photos taken back then to nostalgia.

  The poppies at the gate of Daguanlou are blooming just right, and the blossoms are swaying in the wind. After entering the door, our eyes were locked by the large tent of red-headed gulls, and the sky and the earth were covered with clouds, and a few wild ducks were nestling on a clump of water bamboos.

In addition to seagulls and flowers, Daguanlou also has many historical sites. The ancestral home of Taiwanese singer Yu Chengqing's family - Yujia Garden is located here. It is a pity that I did not go there. The playground located in the park allows us to enjoy the joy of childhood. Several people hesitated for a long time, dare not go on the Ferris wheel, dare not go on the roller coaster, after discussing, jump on the two-story merry-go-round, to make up for the lack of childhood.

At this time, the sun is almost setting, and the view of Dianchi Lake in the distance is also very attractive in the twilight.

A group of people left Daguanlou and asked the taxi driver to lead the way. They wanted to taste the delicious food of Yunnan. When it comes to the taste of Yunnan, the Dai flavor cannot be skipped. It is sour and spicy, giving people a special experience.

Yunnan Army Lecture School and Southwest Associated University

       The Southwest Associated University does not need to be introduced, it makes me fascinated by Leyou. Unfortunately, it was repaired and rebuilt in the later period, and it is difficult to see the imprint of the year.

       The Yunnan Army Lecture Hall is located by the green lake. It is a famous military academy in the modern history of China. It was originally a military school established in the Qing Dynasty to train new types of army and strengthen border defense. Founded in 1909. Together with the Beiyang Lecture Hall (Tianjin) founded in 1906 and the Northeast Lecture Hall (Fengtian) founded in 1908, it is called the Three Lecture Halls. Both He Long and Ye Jianying, who are familiar to us, graduated from here, and they played a pivotal and irreplaceable role in the modern history of China, but we can only experience the grand occasion here in a hasty browsing.

Yunnan Museum

The Yunnan Provincial Museum is located in Guandu District, Kunming City, next to Guandu Ancient Town. It displays representative cultural relics in Yunnan from ancient times to modern times in different categories. Walking in it, it seems that you have experienced the origin and evolution of creatures from the Paleozoic Era to the Cenozoic Era.

    The Guoshang Cemetery and the Western Dian Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall are not to be missed during this trip. Here, we saw the largest existing memorial hall and cemetery in China to commemorate the National Army’s Anti-Japanese War.       The Daying River runs through Tengchong from north to south. When it flows through the west of Tengchong County, it encounters a huge fault cliff. The water falls from the 46-meter-high cliff head into a deep pool. The magnificent landscape of "flowers scattered", the river water seems to be folded in two, so it is commonly known as Dieshuihe Waterfall. Above the waterfall, there are three mountain peaks. Above the waterfall, there is a stone bridge across the river between the peaks. It is called Taiji Bridge. It was built in the period of the Republic of China with unique craftsmanship. There is a stone pavilion next to it.

       Tengchong still retains the youngest volcanic group - the Quaternary volcano. There are more than 80 steam springs and hot spring groups formed in Tengchong due to volcanic activities, and the water temperature of the hot springs is as high as 90 ℃. Among the many strange landscapes, the most distinctive one is the large and small rolling pots. The hot sea boiling pot is filled with boiling water at 97°C all the year round, making the noise loud and the steam soaring into the sky. The local people also use the air vents by the spring, put straws on them, steam sweet potatoes and potatoes, and boil eggs in the "big boiling pot" hot spring, which can be eaten immediately.

     Walking in the Hot Sea Scenic Area, the strong smell of sulfur rushes straight into the mouth and nose, and the foot of the mountain where the water stains have receded is covered with yellow sulfur stains. We also couldn't help but bought a bunch of eggs, brought them in and steamed them in the steam of the hot sea, the taste was really different and very delicious.

      I can't help but go to the natural hot springs. A group of people soak in the hot springs and taste the steamed potatoes, peanuts and eggs in the geothermal heat. The ground heat steamed rice noodles satisfy the body, mind and stomach.

Heshun Ancient Town

        Knowing that Heshun Ancient Town is still from a TV series, I have heard about this place several times. It is not only the hometown of overseas Chinese, but also has many historical sites. It is worth a trip.

Ai Siqi, formerly known as Li Shengxuan, was born in Shuidu Village in February 1910. His father, Li Yuegai, was a veteran of the Revolution of 1911 and followed Mr. Sun Yat-sen in the revolution.

       Heshun Library is one of the largest rural libraries in China. It was founded by overseas Chinese in 1924. It is a traditional Chinese building with a front garden, beautiful and elegant.    There are several old archways at the entrance of the village of Heshun, telling the long history. The land of the motherland is full of severe cold, but it is spring in Heshun, and the rape blossoms are blooming brightly.

     The commercial atmosphere of Heshun is already very strong, and the shops facing the street buy jadeite, bamboo wares, tea and so on. I also ate pine flower cakes, which are said to be made from pine tree pollen.

Rayleigh with many facets

        Ruili is connected to Myanmar, and the cultural atmosphere with ethnic characteristics is strong, and the fog is thick, and everything is like a layer of glass. There is only one day, and it can only be browsed.

        The emeralds here are like ordinary stones. The walls of the roads, restaurants and laundry rooms are all inlaid with pieces of emeralds. I can’t help but want to pry a piece of it home, haha.

       Great Country Gate (Jiegao Port

) is a must-see place, Burmese women wear gorgeous skirts, their faces are painted with patterns painted with fragrant wood powder, and they sell bananas on trays above their heads. Beyond the fence is Myanmar. I saw five or six-year-old children holding smaller dirty children outside the fence, stretching out their hands and calling "Auntie, give me a piece of meat".        Leaving Jiegao Port, we came to "One Village, Two Countries",

Located next to the famous No. 71 boundary pillar on the China-Myanmar border, a Dai village is divided into two by the border line. The Chinese side is called Yinjing, and the Burmese side is called Mangxiu Village.

The national border is bounded by bamboo fences, village roads, ditches, and soil ridges.

The "One Swing Two Countries" swing in the stockade is located next to the border line. Sit on it and swing gently, and you can "go abroad" instantly. With two feet on both sides of the border, I have reached the territory of Myanmar in an instant. Among them, the Budao people still wear multiple metal rings on their necks, and their necks are slender. The feeling is quite complicated. I can't tell whether they understand or feel that they are more sad.

      "Single tree forming a forest" is an ancient banyan tree more than 900 years old, with 34 roots standing on the ground, the tree height is more than 50 meters, and the tree area is more than 2,000 square meters. The branches and leaves are like a fence and a green barrier. It has become a great spectacle in the tropical rainforest, breaking the saying that "a single thread cannot form a thread, and a single tree cannot form a forest". Seeing an arrow drawn on a stone, which said "There is a beautiful place suitable for taking pictures", I walked over out of curiosity, and it was just such a sentence written on a horizontal stone, not only laughed dumbly.

         Mori Waterfall got its name from its location in Mori Canyon, also known as Zado Waterfall. It is said that the Buddha once fasted and bathed next to the hot spring here, and later left a huge footprint to commemorate the Buddha's visit. Later generations of Mori Falls called it "Zado" in the Indian Pali language of the Buddha's footprints.

Walking through the dark rainforest for a long time, I vaguely heard the sound of falling water. I followed the sound to the end of the canyon. The sound was as loud as thunder, and my vision suddenly opened up. I could see the sky again and saw a huge waterfall. It pours down from the 60-meter-high cliff, "folded water is like cotton, and the flowers will disperse without bows and flowers", this is Murray Falls.

       If it wasn't for the driver's introduction, we wouldn't know this place at all. Wanding is a border town in the true sense, the smallest border city in the country, and it has a proud past and present. It is recognized as a famous town in the Anti-Japanese War. It was famous all over the world together with the Burma Highway, Nanyang Machine Workers, Expeditionary Force, Allied Forces, and Stilwell Highway. "There is Wanping in the north and Wanding in the south. The first shot of the Anti-Japanese War was fired at Lugou Bridge, and the Japanese devils were driven out of the country at Wanding Bridge." This sentence is still written on the wall near the Wanding Port in China. I feel shocked when I see it. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Premier Zhou Enlai and the Prime Minister of Myanmar joined hands to enter and leave the country on foot here, and jointly wrote a chapter of peaceful diplomacy. Wanding Bridge is a witness of history. A fence has been erected on the current Wanding Bridge, and there is a new bridge next to it for border residents to enter and exit freely.

       Dehong Prefecture is located in Mangshi. According to legend, when Sakyamuni came here to preach, the sky was bright and the morning sun was about to shine on this emerald green dam, so it was named "Menghuan", which means "City of Dawn".

       Menghuan Great Golden Pagoda (Menghuan Great Golden Pagoda is the first golden pagoda in China and the first hollow pagoda in Asia) is located on the top of Leiyarang Mountain by the Yunkongque Lake. arrived already

(It is said that "Sakyamuni" lived here when he was reincarnated as a golden rooster [Aluan]. Hundreds of years after the Buddha's Nirvana, a Buddhist disciple "Zhaohanda" [Arhat] came to this mountain to practice in person in order to spread the teachings of the Buddha. "Zhaohanda" has a good environment for practice. Weeds and thorns are all kept out of the way, so it is called Lei Ya Rang Mountain, which means the place where weeds get out of the way.
