But I didn't expect it myself. Considering that my family only has weekends, the first place I want to go on vacation is Huangguoshu Bailian.
I used to think that it was unreliable to use accommodation products as a tourist destination, and it was difficult to support the operation alone. But as I grow older and my finances are not so tight, when I have a need for vacation instead of travel, Brilliance has become my first choice, and I even consider it in the next few months. Take a walk with Bolian as the destination.
When people want to go out, they must choose accommodation products, and they have shared with their friends countless times how to choose. After all, you still need to know the purpose of your trip.
Unless it is really financial freedom, then don't worry about it, just choose the most expensive one. If you are a moonshine like me, you have to think carefully.
If it is a route-type trip, such as seeing scenic spots most of the day or requiring self-driving, I will not deviate from the main itinerary for an accommodation, focusing on convenience and comfort. If you are in a city, such as a small town in Europe, and you can drink coffee outside most of the time, then I will still consider a youth hostel or airbnb with a good location and high cost performance.
If I mainly take vacations and spend most of my time in hotels and rooms to relax, then I will definitely choose vacation-type products with a large enough overall floor area, large enough room area, convenient transportation, and complete supporting facilities. .
The key point of "big" is actually very important. Take Huangguoshu Bailian as an example. Anshun also has many well-known accommodation products with good service. The view looks good, but in fact, most of them are in one building. With such a small size, it is difficult to create a feeling of openness and relaxation. When the occupancy rate is high, it is even more crowded. The overall area is large enough, and the service facilities are complete, so that people can relax physically and mentally. The real thing is that they are on vacation, and they are recharging their physical and mental extension.
"Convenience of transportation" is another key point. Believe me, no matter how good the accommodation experience is, if you climb mountains and wading, drive for several hours, and the mountain roads are rugged, you have to climb a few steps yourself. None of that was a vacation.

Pick up the car at Guizhou Airport, drive to Huangguoshu Bailian, 2 hours (the whole journey is high-speed, if you live in Huangguoshu Bailian, you can drive the car directly into the scenic area, Bailian is easy to park, and you can drive there whenever you want to go to a nearby town)
The same is true for the return journey, you can return the car directly at the airport.
Opposite Huangguoshu Bailian is Huangguoshu Scenic Area, a 5-minute walk. So it doesn’t matter if you don’t drive by yourself. Bailian provides Anshun high-speed rail and airport pick-up, and you don’t use the car much after you arrive. It's my second time here, so I rented one if I wanted to go around the area, and it was quite comfortable. It's good if I want to go to the town for a meal at noon.

Huangguoshu Bolian Hotel
Bolian Group has five hotels in China, located in Kunming, Heshun, Jingmai, Chongqing and Huangguoshu.
The design of Brilliance is very impressive to me. It is tall and spacious, symmetrical in Chinese style, simple and elegant, with transparent light and healing hot springs.
The first time I came to Huangguoshu Bailian, I lived in a basic room type, about 70 to 80 square meters, with an independent pool.
This time I lived in a 120-square-meter room. I strongly recommend this room type. It has a separate living room, a very spacious balcony, a super spacious bathroom, and an independent soaking pool. You can really not want to leave the room! ! !
Get up early to drink tea in hot springs, walk in the mountains and forests, take a nap in hot springs and drink tea, watch movies in the afternoon, take a walk after dinner, drink tea in hot springs.
When you arrive at the gate of Bailian, you don't have to worry about everything. The staff will give you a necklace embroidered in Guizhou, hand towels, and tea, and no matter how much luggage you have, the staff will bring you to the front desk one by one to assist in check-in. Then take the battery car to the room.
All the staff will smile and say hello whenever they meet. But staying in a famous resort hotel in China, almost all the staff members have a black face and do nothing. After seeing people and never saying hello, there is a huge difference.
Before checking in, we specially reminded us that there are more people in the scenic spot on weekends. If we plan to see the waterfall one day, we will buy tickets in advance and help us issue tickets.
There are 65 guest rooms in 17 buildings, including 32 water view soup houses (including bubble pool), 32 water view suites (including bubble pool), and 1 presidential suite.
Our room type is one bedroom and one living room, which is also a Chinese symmetrical design, with good lighting and plenty of space.
The living room is equipped with tea and tea sets, a coffee machine, Ferrero and drinks in the water bar, and a dozen bottles of mineral water are enough for drinking tea.
The bedroom has a two-meter bed, a desk, and various auxiliary equipment.
Bathroom, electric toilet, sufficient bath towels considering the hot spring, and spacious double table. The shower room uses Chinese-style fragrance toiletries customized by Bolian.
The cloakroom is reasonably designed and fully functional. I am a storage enthusiast and like to put all the boxes and items together. This cloakroom perfectly satisfies my obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Balcony and hot spring pool. The balcony is estimated to be one to twenty square meters. In addition to the hot spring pool, there are two deck chairs and a tea table. Fully consider privacy.
In addition to the common bedroom tidying when turning the bed, the staff will arrange the rose petal bath salts for the hot springs, and light candles around the pool (and pay attention to the use of plastic candle holders to avoid accidental injury). Good night desserts include white fungus soup and so on.

At the back of the lobby is the leisure area, which is also the dining area. I really like this long table, and I can sit here in a daze for a long time every time.
On the left is a dining room, and on the right is a tea drinking area, a batik experience area, and an open public area. I also strongly recommend the tea drinking area. The design of this area is super square and tall. Every time I can't stop patting, especially in sunny afternoons, I feel like a royal nobleman.
In addition, Bailian also has a store in Jingmai, as well as a tea mountain and a tea factory, so it mainly promotes Pu'er.
Another large area is the hot spring soup pool and swimming pool.
The hot spring area of Huangguoshu Bolian Hot Spring Hotel is divided into 4 spring areas, including aromatic spring area, forest spring area, physiotherapy spring area, and scenic spring area, with a total of 26 pools
Guoshu Bailian Hot Spring is adjacent to the world-renowned Huangguoshu Waterfall, and the outlet temperature is 53 degrees (53°C), which coincides with the world-famous Moutai alcohol content (53% vol). Huangguoshu Bailian Hot Spring is a silicic acid spring, which has high content of sulfate, carbonic acid, and metasilicate. It is rich in minerals such as potassium, sodium, and calcium. The content of metasilicate and fluorine has reached medical value. It is a high-quality and rare hot spring.
The third part is the breakfast area

There is also a tea room outside the hotel, where you can sit and drink tea and watch Huangguoshu Waterfall. This was originally my private spot.
When I came to Huangguoshu Bailian for the first time, I found this super good landscape location after eating and strolling. In fact, this place also belongs to the scenic spot. In addition to the main scenic spot of Huangguoshu, after coming out, you can take a free shuttle bus to visit the two higher scenic spots on the top of the mountain together, which are included in the ticket. This section of the road is not short, and we have walked for two hours from the waterfall, so we must get on the car immediately and go directly to the mountain. But in fact, there is a particularly good viewing position on this section of the road.
Walk along the road to the left from the entrance of Bolian Hotel, and after passing the ticket gate (not the ticket gate of the main scenic area of Huangguoshu, or on the way up the mountain) about a few hundred meters, you can overlook the Huangguoshu Waterfall. This perspective is very beautiful.
And Huangguoshu Bailian placed the teahouse at this location. Walking forward from the view point, there is a half-closed wooden door, which looks very inconspicuous. When you push it open, you can see the teahouse. Our room includes a tea room package, with unlimited refills of Pu'er. Non-residents should also be able to come.
Here you can sit and drink tea and watch the waterfall. If you are lucky, you can see the rainbow.
Food
I like hot and sour, so I basically like to eat Guizhou cuisine.
I ate two in the town
Buyi Baiwei: 88 yuan set meal, pickled fish, wild vegetables, cold cucumber, eggplant and beans, etc., quite satisfactory, not bad. At least not cheating.
Tanya Beef Family (Huangguoshu Branch): Beef Hot Pot (The boss said that their beef is slaughtered by themselves. This is the first time I have eaten cow brains. Unlike pig brains that melt in the mouth, cow brains are more like fat blocks). The beef rice noodles are only a dozen yuan, and the price is not deceiving at all. The next day, I went to eat beef with pickled peppers and liked it very much.
Breakfast is always eaten at Bailian. In fact, Bailian’s breakfast can’t be said to be particularly rich. It’s just that it’s not dazzling when you enter, but it’s delicious.
In fact, Bolian's dinner is highly recommended. The chef is from the Chongqing restaurant, so the hot, sour and spicy dishes are very authentic. Sorry, spicy star.
Bolian's fish in sour soup is better than the ones we ate in the small town, and the portion is ok.
Highly recommend the spicy chicken, I can get an empty plate every time.
There is also a beef stew with potatoes in sour soup, which makes my mouth water when I talk about it, it is very delicious.
The small beef hot pot is an exquisite small hot pot composed of different parts of the local beef. It is very local and delicious. It is a must.
There are two of us, about one hundred per person, so the price/performance ratio is also very good.
Huangguoshu Scenic Area
The route of Huangguoshu Scenic Area is very clear, and it is a circle without going back. From the entrance to the waterfall, and then to the water curtain hole behind the waterfall, just go back to the entrance after you come out.

It is recommended to spend 50 yuan to take the elevator up and down to save energy and maintain a good mood.

In addition to the main scenic spot, Huangguoshu Scenic Area also has two scenic spots on the mountain.
I suggest that you can walk to the Bolian I mentioned above to drink tea, look at the waterfall from a different perspective, and then take a bus to another scenic spot when you come back.
