Western Sichuan Small Ring Road
At the beginning of August this year, I went to Danba, Ganzi, Xinlong, Kangding, and Luding in western Sichuan, but Daocheng and other places were afraid of the altitude and did not go there, so it was called the small ring road.
The whole process of the bus, thanks to the government's investment in the West Sichuan Highway Passenger Transport in recent years, except for Kangding to Luding, the rest of the bus tickets can be booked online, which is very convenient.
1. Chengdu
Arrive at Chengdu East at 5 o'clock in the evening, because you need to take a shuttle bus to Danba at Chadianzi Bus Station the next day, and stay at the Popcorn Hotel near Chadianzi Bus Station that night. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from the bus station to the hotel. The hotel is a brand under the Pudding Hotel. Although the facilities are average and there is some noise near the overpass, it is worth the price.
2. Chengdu-Danba-Jiaju
Depart on time at 9:00, and arrive at Danba via Siguniang Mountain and Xiaojin, so it is feasible to take this bus to Siguniang Mountain.
Some places were repairing roads and unilaterally allowed them to pass through. It was almost 5:30 when they arrived in Danba.
When planning this trip, I felt that it would be inconvenient to travel around Jiaju with luggage.
After getting out of the station, go to the ticket office to get the bus ticket to Ganzi the next day. A beautiful woman who runs a small supermarket in the ticket office came over and asked if she wanted to stay. When she learned that we were going to Shangjiaju today and would stay tomorrow, she said: You can put your luggage in the supermarket There is no charge, and the luggage problem is solved in this way.
The driver took us to the Geshe reception station near No. 2 viewing platform and said: The accommodation fee is 100 yuan per person, including one dinner and one breakfast. If you are not satisfied, you can find another one.
When I went to the site, I saw that it was a standard twin room with a separate shower room and hot water. It was better than expected, so I stayed here without bargaining.
3. Jiaju-Suopo-Danba
After breakfast at 7:30 in the morning, go up the highway to No. 2 viewing platform, just behind the Geshe reception station, and then go up 900 meters from No. 2 viewing platform to No. 3 viewing platform, stay for about half an hour and return Go to the Geshe reception station, take the carry-on luggage and bid farewell to the proprietress, the proprietress taught us: When you see a van, wave to the van, and it costs 10 yuan per person to take it to the county seat.
Go down the highway to Observation Deck No. 1, sit on the side of the road and wait for the van after watching it for about 20 minutes. As the proprietress said, it costs 10 yuan per person.
After arriving at the county seat, I took a taxi for 15 yuan to Suopo. The viewing platform of Suopo had collapsed, and the surrounding area was closed to prevent entry. I stayed for about half an hour before returning.
That night, I stayed at the Xueyu Memory Hotel, which is a beautiful girl in the station supermarket. It is more than 100 meters away from the passenger station, and there is an elevator. It is clean and hygienic.
4. Danba-Garze
At 7:00, take the shuttle bus and leave Danba, passing through Daofu. From Luhuo to Ganzi, after Bamei, to Daofu and Luhuo, colorful Tibetan-style dwellings appear from time to time on both sides of the road, scattered in twos and threes in the rapeseed and highland barley fields, very beautiful, such as in the right season, such as It will be even more beautiful against the backdrop of blooming rapeseed.
Arrived at Ganzi before 5:30 in the evening, took a taxi to Ganzi Temple, and stayed overnight at the Marriott Hotel opposite the passenger station. After bargaining, the standard room was 110 yuan.
5. Ganzi-Xinlong
Depart at 9:00, arrive at Xinlong before 12:00, stay at the Jiaotong Hotel near the station, the standard room is 150 yuan, no bargaining, this is the worst stay, but you have to take the shuttle bus to Kangding at 6:10 the next day, there is no Method.
After the meal, I took a taxi for 300 yuan to go to Cuoka Lake. This is the focus of this journey. According to the driver, it takes 1 hour from Xinlong to Cuoka Lake.
After crossing the Mari Bridge, there are many small bread cars parked on the side of the road, there are restaurants, and a small car is parked next to the restaurant. I don’t know if it’s a self-driving tour. After all, after passing here, there is a restaurant in Xinlong , and the small van, I don’t know if it is used to pick up the villagers to the village on the mountain.
In other people's travel notes, I have seen the scenery of Cuoka Lake many times, but when I stood by the lake after many days of traveling, I was still a little excited.
The driver said that he could wait for us for 2 hours, but because of the cloudy and light rain that day, it took us 1 hour and 10 minutes to take pictures and follow others around the lake. If the weather is good, it will take 2 hours.
6. Xinlong-Kangding-Luding
Departure at 6:10 and stop for dinner at a shuttle bus distribution point in front of Yajiang. This is the first time to stop and eat by shuttle bus in a few days. From Chengdu-Danba and Danba-Garze, it takes more than 10 hours to drive each time. Including drivers and passengers, they all use dry food to solve the problem.
Pass through Hekou Town, Yajiang County, and arrive at Xindu Bridge, the legendary paradise of photographers. There are shops and hotels on both sides of the road, a thriving scene. Personally, I think it is more appropriate to call it a leisure resort for the general public.
I once talked with a self-driver in Xinlong about the houses along the line. He said that the houses in Xinduqiao were more beautiful than those in Bamei, Daofu, and Luhuo, but I personally think that Xinduqiao is not as good as those in Bamei, Daofu, and Luhuo. Beautiful, Xinduqiao is too much affected by commercial factors, while Bamei, Daofu, and Luhuo are all Tibetan dwellings for their own use, and they are not affected by commercial factors, as the saying goes.
Turn over Zheduo Mountain, arrive at Kangding at about 5:00, and immediately transfer to Luding. The bus to Luding does not sit in the Kangding bus station. A compound is full of 8-seater vans for short distances to Luding and Guza, and it costs 25 yuan per person to Luding.
As soon as we got out of the station, the driver asked everyone whether to take the expressway or the old road. He also said that there was a traffic jam on a certain section of the highway. Some passengers said helplessly that they should take the old road. Personally, I think the driver wanted to save the toll.
On the way, I asked the driver the departure time from Kangding to Luding. According to the driver, it was from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, and said that the two places are the same.
Arrive at Luding after 6 o'clock, put down your luggage and go to Luding Bridge. Although it is already after 6 o'clock, there are still many tourists on Luding Bridge, which shows the status of the bridge in the hearts of Chinese people.
That night I stayed at the Yuntong Hotel at the bus station, with a standard room of 120 yuan. This is the best transportation hotel I have stayed in over the years.
7. Luding-Ya'an-Chengdu
When planning this trip, I found out that there are only three buses from Luding to Ya’an at 8:30, 10:20, and 14:00. At that time, I thought there should be passing buses. Later, I asked the waiter at Yuntong Hotel in Luding , he said: Only these three buses take the bus, and passing cars do not enter the city at high speeds. Usually they also take these three buses when they go to Ya'an.
The shuttle bus from Luding to Ya'an is on the high speed, which takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes, and takes the high-speed rail that has just opened to Chengdu. At this point, the journey is basically over.
8. Some reference information
(1) Danba Passenger Station has been moved to a new location, and Ganzi Passenger Station has also been moved to Kangbei Passenger Transport Center.
(2) The accommodation in Jiaju is not too tight. Taking the Geshe reception station as an example, the double standard rooms on the second floor were fully occupied that night, but the three-person rooms on the third floor were unoccupied.
(3) Jiaju is best to live near No. 3 or No. 2 viewing platform, so that you can avoid going uphill.
(4) Cuoka Lake charges 10 yuan per person, collected by the villagers.
(5) On the mountainside near Cuoka Lake, there are 3 places for accommodation, one is a 3-story Tibetan-style dwelling, and the other 2 are tents.
(6) Accommodation recommendation: Xueyu Memory Hotel in Danba, Yuntong Hotel in Luding, clean and hygienic, cost-effective.
