I wanted to visit Shijiazhuang for a long time, but I didn't know what to do in Shijiazhuang. This National Day, choose among Shijiazhuang, Tianjin and Chengdu. Normally speaking, I would probably choose the latter two, but I must do the opposite and go to Shijiazhuang. There are very few travel notes and strategies about Shijiazhuang on the Internet, so most of the time, I fumbled for it by myself.

About traffic:

We booked a car in advance on the Yihi Car Rental APP, and traveled by self-driving throughout the journey. We all randomly choose scenic spots and go to play randomly, so self-driving tours can be much more free. As a young man, I like renting a car very much. The rent of the car is not expensive, and the car is very new. And now there is no charge to return the car in another place within the province, and travel is much more free.

About accommodation:

They all arrived at the local area and only looked for a house to live in at night. Shijiazhuang is not a tourist city, and there are not too many tourists. During the National Day, housing prices did not rise much.

Baiyintuo Scenic Area

After arriving at Zhengding Airport, contact the staff of EHi Car Rental to pick us up and go to the store to pick up the car. After picking up the car, we drove around the city directly, searched for better scenic spots nearby, and found this Baiyintuo Scenic Area. It is said that at the end of October, there are red leaves everywhere, which is very beautiful. During the National Day period, it was still a little earlier. The leaves have not yet turned red.

The scenic spot is not very famous, but it is really beautiful. There is a very long trail by the river. Walking on the road, looking at the river, white clouds, trees, and the majestic mountains next to it is very relaxing. Moreover, there are almost no steps here, which is very suitable for walking with children. We saw some parents pushing the stroller and taking their children to play, which is very good.

I plan to visit again in a few days, just because of the red leaves all over the mountain.

Hebei Museum

This is not the same day itinerary as Baiyintuo. The biggest highlight of Shijiazhuang is the Hebei Museum. The museum is very large, and there are many treasures in it.

You can learn about the relevant content from the official account, and each exhibition hall also has a very detailed explanation. Looking at the cultural relics with these explanations, these cultural relics will come alive. So, we had a lot of fun too.

I took a lot of photos in the museum. I originally wanted to review the knowledge I had learned when I came back. If I didn’t write travel notes, I would never remember to open the photos.

This is the golden jade dress. When I first saw it, I thought, if you wear it, you have to die again. After listening to the explanation, I realized that this is actually the clothes worn by ancient emperors or ministers when they were buried.

Zhengding Ancient City

Zhengding Ancient City is a famous ancient city in Shijiazhuang. In fact, the ancient city of Zhengding at night is very beautiful. Big red lanterns are hanging, and there are super beautiful yellow LED lights. Arriving here is like returning to the ancient night.

A few of us also said that if we came in Hanfu, we could take some interesting photos.

When you arrive at the ancient city of Zhengding, you must go to the south city wall for a stroll at night. The high city wall and yellow spotlights make this city wall a mysterious and high-level photo. Several people are constantly taking pictures here.

The people here on the city wall are also sparse. I feel that Hebei can definitely find a way to develop tourism, just like this place, which is beautiful but not well-known.

Zhengding City Tower. You can climb up, so you can overlook the ancient city of Zhengding. Three golden pagodas were seen in the distance. I especially like this style of ancient town, it is very comfortable and has a sense of quiet prosperity. Just eat here, the price is not expensive, and there are many food stalls, it looks very appetizing.

Things to complain about:

It is the Xibaipo Memorial Hall, which should have been able to be a good memorial hall, but the management here is really chaotic. I read the reviews, and many people said that there are people blocking the road everywhere, asking to stop and take a battery car, asking to eat in their own restaurant, all kinds of tricks and abductions. Because of this, we didn't go either. (I don't know if it has changed now)

I have traveled a lot, and I have encountered many such things. Hope to improve management.

About the beauty of Zhao County

I saw this stone tower when I was playing around, and it was particularly eye-catching. We went to have fun in the past, and it is said that this tower is the highest stone scripture building in China. I met a cat here, he is so cute, he looks so good-looking. We also went to the Berlin Zen Temple.

Glass Zen Temple is the most famous Zen academy in the area. But we really don't understand religion, and we know how to go in and see the scenery. I wanted to go to Wanfo Tower to take a look, but it was not open. Note: Burning incense is not allowed in the temple. This is the first time I have seen a temple that cannot burn incense.

We went to Enyi Restaurant for dinner this time. The shop is not big, just like a very ordinary local restaurant, but the dishes inside are so delicious. Braised eggplant with donkey meat is one of my favorite dishes. The donkey meat is tender and the eggplant is delicious.

Donkey meat fire is also, super delicious. If you go to Zhao County, it is recommended to have a meal here.

Looking at the picture below, I really saw a fairy ringing the moon. I feel that the whole National Day will be very lucky.

Before leaving, I saw the little cute baby playing the drums here, looking pretty good. Generally speaking, Zhao County seems to be a county with rich cultural history. This place is more suitable for weekend trips. If you come here for a special trip, it doesn't feel necessary.

s

If it weren't for the "Zhaozhou Bridge" in the Chinese textbook, probably this place would not be so famous. It's as if Mr. Lao She's "Baotu Spring" made Jinan Baotu Spring more famous.

After arriving at Zhaozhou Bridge, you can feel its magic. There are only four bridge holes here, and there are really no piers. The bridge should have been built later, but the main body has not changed. This bridge can be regarded as witnessing the step-by-step development of history.

There is also an exhibition hall near the bridge, where you can learn about some content related to Zhaozhou Bridge.

Although the entire exhibition hall is not big, the changes of the railings can still be seen, which is enough to show that people's aesthetics are constantly changing. Only after reading the records did I know that from the Sui Dynasty to the present, each dynasty will continue to change. It is this kind of inheritance from generation to generation that allows the bridge to be preserved to this day. Suddenly there is a sense of mission inheritance.

Pilu Temple

This temple is really too unknown, and few people come here on National Day. When I arrived in Shijiazhuang, I didn't know it until I saw the scenic spots everywhere.

I never expected that there are so many murals here. Not only are they old, but the paintings themselves are also exquisite. Only then did I know that the murals here are actually one of the four major murals in China.

The outdoor scenery is also beautiful. Pine pines and ancient cypresses are guarding in front of the temple. It is said that the cypress trees here are more than 1,000 years old.

The paintings in the temple are not allowed to be photographed. The following pictures are all I found from the Internet to prove the exquisiteness of the murals.

It is also a very happy thing to use the temple as the end of the trip to Shijiazhuang. Generally speaking, these are the attractions I recommend. What's interesting in Shijiazhuang, I think everything is interesting.
