Continuing from the previous article, after returning from Dali and Lijiang in September, I thought I would not travel far in the near future. I chatted with my husband some time ago and talked about the Geminid meteor shower in December, which is the largest meteor shower every year. The peak is on 13-14. There are more than 100 per hour, which can be seen with the naked eye. My husband bought an equatorial mount to take pictures with great interest. I have never seen it before, and I follow Pidianer. We probably can’t see it in Shanghai (too bright) I had to find a place. I checked the surrounding areas and decided to go to Anji’s Jiangnan Tianchi. I was planning to book a ticket a week in advance. It started to rain in Shanghai. We looked at the weather forecast nervously and found that Anji was also raining. It’s raining, it’s going to be next week, watching meteors is useless, and then I’m looking for a place again, and I’m talking about Yunnan again. My husband said to go to Meili Snow Mountain. I said that it’s too cold at this time. My husband said that I just went to Yulong Snow Mountain. He Cangshan didn’t see the snow and still remember), and I can still watch meteors. I struggled for a while, what if I still can’t see it after running so far? The husband said that if you can't see it there, there is no place to see it. After struggling for an hour, he made a decision.
This time, time was tight, and we didn’t make a strategy, so we booked a group on Ctrip, 5,000 people per person, and stayed for three nights. We thought it was a group of 20 to 30 people, and a big car ran around. After we bought it, the customer service told us to charter a car. No wonder the price for a single car.
Itinerary: December 11 morning Shanghai-Lijiang plane afternoon Lijiang-Shangri-La car accommodation Shangri-La
Morning of December 12th Shangri-La-Deqin Car Su Deqin
Dec. 13 Deqin-Shangri-La car stay in Shangri-La
December 14 morning Pudacuo National Park afternoon Shangri-La-Lijiang car evening Lijiang-Shanghai plane
We arrived in Lijiang at noon on December 11. When we got off the plane, the arranged driver and tour guide came to pick us up. He was a very energetic guy, very enthusiastic, and he wanted to do his best to treat us to the first meal. The little brother is from the Naxi nationality, and his Mandarin is very good. He can't hear the accent, and he is also very talkative. He introduced us to the local customs and customs during the past few days, and learned a lot of knowledge!
It takes 4 hours to drive from Lijiang to Shangri-La. Roads are being built in some places. I originally went to Tiger Leaping Gorge because of the road construction. It’s almost time for dinner when we arrive in Shangri-La. As an aside, Shangri-La was originally called Zhongdian, and not many people came to visit. After calling it “Shangri-La”, it immediately became the “sun and moon in the heart” that people are looking for. It seems that this name is still knowledgeable. big!
We live in the ancient city of Dukezong in Shangri-La, which used to be an important town on the ancient tea-horse road. The horseshoe prints on the stone road seem to tell us the story of the caravan back then. The ancient city of Dukezong is the best-preserved and largest Tibetan settlement in my country. Our room was decorated in a Tibetan style. After we put down our luggage, we walked around the ancient city. It is the off-season and there are few tourists. The ancient city of Dukezong has the largest prayer wheel in the world. It takes a few adults to turn it together. When we arrived, there were still a few tourists, so we turned it clockwise three times together, praying silently in our hearts.
Dinner was yak hot pot. After the meal, I walked to Sifang Street and saw a group of people dancing Tibetan dances. It may be because I didn’t see a few people along the way. Suddenly I saw a group of people dancing on a cold night. I was a little excited. There were some people in the team. There are local residents and tourists, and I followed them around twice. When I first arrived at the plateau, I was still a little dizzy, so I rested after dancing for a while.
Back at the hotel, we went up to the terrace. The quiet ancient city is still very beautiful at night, and the giant prayer wheel is more solemn and majestic under the light. It may also be due to the lights, the starry sky is not so obvious, we put our hopes on Deqin the next day.
The next day we set off from Shangri-La to Deqin. It took another 4 hours on the road. We spent most of the time on the winding mountain road. The altitude fluctuated from 2000 to 3000. My ears felt like I was flying. The little brother drove steadily, and there was no big reaction.
Along the way, we passed many high mountains, admired the Napa Sea, overlooked the White Horse Snow Mountain, and overlooked the Jinsha River Dawan. In winter, we felt peaceful, just as the weather was beautiful and the sun was shining. We enjoyed the green mountains and snow-capped peaks all the way. When I turned a corner, I could still find villages and rivers scattered among the mountains, and I stopped to take pictures when I saw the beautiful scenery. Although I took a few hours in the car, I didn't feel tired, and I was very excited. It snowed a few days ago, and the snow hadn’t melted in some places. We played for a while. It’s been a long time since we played with snow. The snow here is not as wet as we’ve seen in the south. It feels dry and hard. Kneaded into balls, the snowflakes are very large, more like ice flowers, as if after one game, it freezes, and then the next game, layer by layer, it glows little by little under the sunlight, like crystal, very beautiful!
We arrived at Deqin at noon. Our hotel was built on the Wunongding Observation Deck. This is a good place to see the Meili Snow Mountain. After eating in the county town, we went to Feilai Temple first. This is also a good place to watch the Snow Mountain. In terms of distance, Feilai Temple is closer to the snow mountain. The afternoon sun was bright, covering the snow-capped peaks, and a few small white clouds floated in mid-air just dotted the majestic mountains. Kawagebo Peak, the highest peak of Meili Snow Mountain, is 6,740 meters above sea level. It is the highest mountain in Yunnan Province. It has not been conquered so far. The beautiful snow mountain is covered with a holy and mysterious veil. pilgrimage. Our photos can only reflect the grandeur of the holy mountain. If there is a chance, we recommend friends to experience the sacred and open state of mind for themselves!
As night fell, we began to prepare for the second task-gazing at the stars. In fact, the preparatory work is to move the camera and tripod to the terrace and adjust the position. Of course, this is done by the husband, and I don’t understand it. Later, I found out that he didn’t understand it very well. The lens was frozen, and seeing such a beautiful starry sky, I couldn’t take a picture. I finally picked a usable one for everyone to see. The husband is not satisfied. I think it’s not bad!
We came to watch the meteor shower. My husband persisted until 1:30, and saw more than a dozen of them. It is said that there were two fireballs. I persisted for half an hour, and I seemed to see one in a daze. It was too cold, and I was afraid to go back and freeze. I still entered the house, but I was very satisfied to see the sky full of stars. After all, this is the night sky with the most stars I have seen since I can remember. ), it is also a worthwhile trip. Coincidentally, there is also a young couple who also came from Shanghai and set up a camera to watch the stars. Our room is next to the terrace. I was lying on the bed and heard the girl shout excitedly: "I saw two! So excited!" In my heart After struggling for a while but still not getting up, I silently imagined the scene of shooting stars passing by, leaving some regrets about everything, right Bo?
The highlight of the third day - to see the Rizhao Jinshan! Looking at Jinshan depends on the weather. We only stayed in Deqin for one night, so I felt a little uneasy. The first day my brother gave us the sunrise timetable. It started at 8:00, and we set up our cameras at 7:45. I woke up before 7 o'clock. There were a few chickens raised next door, and they started crowing before dawn. They worked very hard and didn't stop for a moment. It was more powerful than an alarm clock! When the sky was bright, the sky slowly turned white, and the outline of the snow-capped mountains gradually became clear, cold and solemn. At 8:00, a bright color appeared on a corner of the mountain. Like an unfolding scroll, the sun diffused from the top of the mountain. It lasted almost 20 minutes, the whole mountain was soaked in the sun, the sky was bright, and a new day began!
After breakfast, we started our return journey, first returning to Shangri-La from Deqin, or staying in the ancient city of Dukezong, and heading to Pudacuo National Park, the last stop of the trip, early in the morning on the fourth day.
It takes about 40 minutes to drive from Shangri-La to Pudacuo. There are three main tourist areas in Pudacuo: Shudu Lake, Militang Subalpine Meadow and Bitahai. In order to restore the ecology, the meadow and Bitahai have been closed. Currently Only Shudu Lake is open. After entering the park, take the bus to the Shudu Lake Scenic Area. After getting off the bus, there are two ways to visit. One is to walk 3.3 kilometers along the plank road by the lake, and the other is to take a boat. Of course, we are on foot. Pudacuo is known as the place with the purest air , Of course, take a few more breaths.
Everything in the park in winter is quiet, the lake is rippled by the wind, the green of the grass has faded, the flowers are hiding in the ground waiting to bloom next year, there is a thin layer of ice on the plank road, and the little squirrels are also curled up in their nests. We searched for a long time No trace was found. The spruce firs on both sides of the plank road are covered with "tree beard", which is the proof of the good environment here. We walked slowly along the plank road, arrived at the bus stop in more than an hour, and returned to the door by car, exactly at noon.
In the afternoon, we returned to Lijiang on the same road for more than 4 hours. Compared with the return journey, we were less excited. The little brother talked to us like a lullaby. Taking care of me on the way, I returned to Shanghai.
There are not many scenic spots in our itinerary, and we spent a lot of time on the road. There is no way to do this. I heard that the highway is being built now, and it will save time from Shangri-La to Deqin in the future. We have basically seen everything we wanted to see during this trip, which is considered complete. As usual, I still want to share some tips at the end of the article.
Cost: This time is a group tour, the cost includes air tickets, hotels, fares, and tickets to major attractions. The two hotels that Ctrip helped us choose are both good. One is Shangri-La's Fifth Meteorite Light Year Hotel, and the other is Deqin Fragment Wuxiang Meili Snow Mountain Mansion. It is clean and has a good location.
Altitude sickness: We had altitude sickness, which is considered mild. This time, the whole journey was basically at an altitude of about 3000. If you walk faster, you will get short of breath, and you will also get short of breath when you climb stairs. Both my husband and I suffered from insomnia for one night. I was the first When the sky first arrived, he was watching the stars at night, and the day was fine. Fortunately, this time he mainly took the car, and he didn't walk much. Walking slowly will be fine, and it is completely tolerable.
Weather: We were lucky this time. The little brother said that it rained a few days ago. The few days we arrived were sunny every day. It was hot at noon and below zero at night. The temperature difference is still quite large. It is best to wear warm clothes and sunglasses Prepare, if you want to take pictures of the stars, remember to protect the camera from the cold.
Sightseeing recommendation: Of course, Meili Snow Mountain is the most recommended. This time we just overlooked it. There are two nearby attractions, Mingyong Glacier and Yubeng Village. It takes a few days to enter the village by walking, which requires good physical strength. If anyone wants to go, I suggest staying for a week.
The above is our trip to Meili Snow Mountain. To sum it up, we mainly saw the snow mountain, Pudacuo Park, the ancient city of Dukezong, Jinsha River, Napa Sea, and ethnic villages along the way. We have a glimpse and a long aftertaste. We look forward to seeing you again next time. Let's share!
