Starting from Urumqi, we drove a new generation of smart running and entered a new journey. Twelve Muqams, thirty-six countries in the Western Regions, Wusun, Qiuci, Loulan, Cheshi, Dayuezhi...these familiar ancient countries are almost submerged in the cracks of history, and our trip is to They searched for them one by one.

Sailimu Lake

To be honest, when I heard the team leader say that our first day's itinerary was to drive from Urumqi to Sailimu Lake, my mouth almost became O-shaped. How can this be? The 800-kilometer mountain road runs directly from the hinterland of Xinjiang to near the border of Xinjiang, Impossibility!

The team leader replied with a smile, rest assured, the new generation of smart running can do it.

With a comfortable driving experience and without too many bumps, we really arrived at the last tear of the Atlantic Ocean, Sailimu Lake.

Among the many lakes in Xinjiang, I always think that Sailimu Lake is the most beautiful, and it is so beautiful. No matter when, there are always snow-capped mountains that do not change in all seasons reflected on the blue lake, and there are always lush grasses and wild flowers sprinkled on the land by the lake. Especially when the dense mist permeates the lake, I always feel in a trance that I have strayed into a fairyland. After the water vapor from the Atlantic Ocean drifted here, it stopped abruptly, pouring all its last strength and magic power into this lake.

We walked around the lake, and couldn't tell whether it was the sky or the world.

gossip city

In China, thanks to the gift of Mr. Jin Yong, there are many places that exude martial arts and legends when you hear their names. Guo Jing's Xiangyang, Linghu Chong's Huashan, Dali Duan's family, Tianshan Child Elder... place names are endowed with too many stories.

Our second stop in the Western Regions is Turks, the largest Bagua city in the Guinness Book of World Records.

At the invitation of Genghis Khan, Qiu Chuji, one of the Seven Sons of Taoism, came to the Western Regions to explore the way of immortality. When he traveled to the Tianshan Mountains in the west, he was moved by the Tekes River Valley, which integrates the rigidity of the mountains, the softness of the rivers, and the flourishing veins of the water. gèn, Duiduì, the Bagua city with the core of Fengshui in eight directions. I took the drone and flew it. I thought the gossip was very small, but it turned out to be the sixty-four hexagrams... no wonder it is so grand.

Tekes Bagua City was planned by the "Book of Changes", formal and rigorous. With the Taiji Altar in the center of the city as the "yin and yang" two appearances, the Taiji diagram extends outwards, and radiates 8 main streets according to the eight trigrams. Each street is 1.2 kilometers long, and a ring road is set up every 360 meters. There are 8 streets, 16 streets on the second ring road, 32 streets on the third ring road, and 64 streets on the fourth ring road. These streets form sixty-four hexagrams according to the directions of the eight trigrams.

I have always been curious about whether the residents living in the city have a few I Ching masters, or whether they should consider whether the orientation of the house in the Eight Diagrams matches their own five elements when buying a house? Metal, wood, water, fire, earth, the gate of life, the gate of death, Chaoshan, Anshan, Lailong, Qumai, Suzaku Xuanwu, Qinglong Baihu... It is impossible to settle down in this city without a little culture.

It is rumored that because of the unique design of Bagua City, Turks is the only city in the country without traffic lights. In order to verify the authenticity, we went around the city a few times and found that the legend was only half right. There are indeed no traffic lights in the "Bagua", but the sixty-four hexagrams outside have movable "solar traffic lights" to assist traffic.

Zhaosu

Relying on mountains to eat mountains, relying on water to eat water, various agricultural and animal husbandry products are easy to import and copy, but there is such a place in Xinjiang that is irreplaceable, and this is Zhaosu.

Thousands of years ago, Zhaosu began to produce sweat-blooded BMWs, which once became the treasure that Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty dreamed of. He also ordered Li Guangli to lead tens of thousands of cavalry to seize sweat-blooded BMWs by force. According to the records of "Historical Records", when Zhang Qian was on an envoy to the Western Regions, he once saw a kind of good horse in the Dawan Kingdom (now the Fergana Basin). Sweat like blood will flow out from the position near the shoulder. Therefore, it is called sweaty BMW.

In order to explore the current Zhaosu Racecourse, we slipped through the hinterland of Zhaosu, which ordinary tourists would not set foot in. If you don't go to Xinjiang, you don't know how big China is. If you don't go to Zhaosu, how can you say that you have seen the most beautiful Xinjiang. Tens of millions of acres of primitive grasslands, millions of acres of rapeseed flowers, and 100,000 celestial horses appeared in front of my eyes.

And what is surprising is that the Tianma here do not need herdsmen to graze at all. On the huge grassland, the horses go to the river to drink water three times a day, and then stroll on the grassland. between. Drinking water with head down, neighing with head up, smooth fur, unruly and vigorous posture, completely made us fall in love with these wild creatures when we saw them for the first time. Think about it, when the Great Sage Equaling Heaven was first named Bi Mawen, didn't he also get along happily with this group of Tianmen, very happy?

The vigorous posture of the Pegasus horses fully aroused our interest in competing in the same field. After obtaining the consent of the herdsmen, we jogged on the road, while the winning horse ran gracefully on the grassland aside. Which one do you think is more beautiful, streamlined technological lines or wild sideburns?

Horgos

The final stop of this trip to the western border of China's Zhishen is Korgos, the most northwestern gateway of our motherland.

We started from Xi'an, stretched all the way for thousands of kilometers, and finally arrived here. Many people may not know that Xinjiang is the province with the most border ports in China, and the Khorgos Port bordering Kazakhstan is undoubtedly the jewel among them.

Not to mention the high class, for ordinary people, the most direct benefit of coming here is to visit the huge duty-free shops. If you don’t have a passport, don’t worry. With your ID card, you can go to the Horgos Administrative Service Center and collect personal information for 30 yuan to get an access certificate.

In other words, Korgos really has a very, very, very large duty-free area that stretches for several kilometers, so that after leaving the customs, you have to take various shuttle buses to get a glimpse of it.

Before I came here, I thought it was just a small duty-free zone that communicated with the five Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan), but I didn’t expect it to be so big that it covered everything around the world. The rich variety completely crushes all kinds of airport duty-free shops, and even duty-free shopping malls in Sanya. The shuttle bus will park at several stops, each featuring different types of duty-free products.

Well, there are 4 places in Xinjiang with very different styles, the beautiful Sailimu Lake, the mysterious Tekes Bagua City, the hometown of Tianma Zhaosu, and the Korgos Port where you can buy and buy. No matter which one you like, you are welcome to visit us in Xinjiang. Of course, driving a new generation of smart running
Self-driving is more convenient~
