The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is one of the five ethnic minority autonomous regions in China, with an area of 1.6649 million square kilometers, accounting for about one-sixth of China's total land area. Located in the hinterland of the Eurasian continent, with a land border of more than 5,600 kilometers and bordered by eight countries including Russia, it is now the only place where the second "Eurasian Continental Bridge" must pass, and its strategic location is very important. There are more than 1,100 tourist attractions in Xinjiang, ranking first in the country.
In July 2022, my wife and I came to Xinjiang again by train. This is ten years later, we traveled to Xinjiang together again, this time the itinerary was very well arranged: Urumqi Gathering - Bosten Lake - Tianshan Grand Canyon - Duku Highway - Qiaoerma - Nalati -~~~- Huocheng Lavender~Guozigou Bridge~~Sailimu Lake~~World Devil City~~Kanas~~Baihaba~~~ The bus followed us all the way and made a circle. See the travel map for details.
We arrived in Urumqi by train in the morning, and it was okay to rest in sleeper berths along the way. Exiting the station, staying in the hotel, washing up, and going out for sightseeing, the process is smooth.
1. Visit Urumqi
Urumqi, commonly known as Wushi, formerly known as Dihua, is the capital of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is the most inland large city in the world and the farthest from the ocean and coastline. Urumqi New Passenger Station is a large train passenger station, the terminal of the Lanzhou-Xinjiang high-speed railway, and the largest train passenger station in Urumqi.
1. Visit the museum
Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum is located at No. 581, Northwest Road, Urumqi. The new museum was grandly opened on September 20, 2005, with a construction area of 17,288 square meters, one basement floor and two floors above ground. The main body is 18.5 meters high. Cultural relics are the focus.
The name of the museum was inscribed by Chairman Zhu De, an older generation of revolutionaries, when he came to Xinjiang to inspect work in 1959.
A wise man said: A person who often visits museums must be blessed by them. Let life be full and full, and make thoughts deep and wise. Our ancestors have left us endless treasures, waiting to be discovered by future generations.
2. Visit Hongshan
Red Mountain is the city landmark of Urumqi and one of the new ten scenic spots in Urumqi. The environment of the park is fresh and clean, especially when you climb to the top of the Red Mountain Pagoda, you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful city of Urumqi.
The area of the park is small, with a length and width of about 500 to 600 meters. You can walk around after entering.
This is a photo I took when I came to Urumqi Hongshan Park in 1972. At that time, I rarely had a camera, and it was an exterior scene taken by the park photo studio.
Youth can't be kept, white hair is born naturally. A generation will eventually get old, but some people will be young; when everyone's youth is gone, it will be a song in retrospect.
Hongshan is located in the center of Urumqi, on the east bank of the Urumqi River, lying like a giant dragon from east to west. The mountain is 910.6 meters above sea level, and the mountain is majestic. Because the cliff at the west end is brownish red, it is called Hongshan. This is a photo of Hongshan taken by my wife and I when we came to Urumqi in 2012.
3. Urumqi Grand Bazaar
Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar was completed on June 26, 2003. It is the world's largest Grand Bazaar (Uighur, meaning bazaar, farmers' market). It integrates Islamic culture, architecture, ethnic commerce, entertainment, and catering. It has " The honors of "Window of Xinjiang", "Window of Central Asia" and "Window of the World".
Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar is not only a good place for local residents to purchase and gather, but also a must-see place for tourists to visit Xinjiang and taste local delicacies.
The Grand Bazaar is full of various commodities, and the shops of all sizes are open all night, driving the nighttime economy to continue to heat up.
This is a photo we took when we came to the Grand Bazaar in 2012.
What an amazing teapot.
Such a tall teapot.
When you come here, you must not miss the square culture here. The Grand Bazaar Square often plays some ethnic music, and people dance ethnic dances together. The atmosphere is very good.
Erdaoqiao and Shanxi Alley in Urumqi City have been the barter exchange center for ethnic minorities in northern and southern Xinjiang, as well as West Asia and Central Asia since the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. After more than 100 years of changes, it is now attracting many Chinese and foreign tourists with its strong ethnic characteristics and Xinjiang regional customs.
This is a photo we took when we came to the Grand Bazaar in 2012. The appearance of the Grand Bazaar has been completely new in the past ten years.
2. Visit Bosten Lake
This is the first day of the tourism team's itinerary, boarding the bus to visit Bosten Lake, which is more than 400 kilometers away. Go forward another 30 kilometers and stay in Korla at night.
1. Visit Bosten Lake
Bosten Lake is located at the southern foot of Tianshan Mountain in Bayingoleng Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and in Bohu County, southeast of Yanqi Basin. It is 55 kilometers long from east to west, 25 kilometers wide from north to south, and has a water area of 1646 square kilometers. It is the largest inland freshwater huff and puff lake in China. .
In May 2014, Bosten Lake Scenic Spot was rated as a national 5A-level tourist attraction, becoming the eighth national 5A tourist attraction in Xinjiang.
In October 2021, Bosten Lake was included in the first list of important wetlands in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The scenic spots along the Bosten Lake can be divided into four scenic spots, namely Golden Beach and Silver Beach, Dahekou and Luoxia Bay, Ahongkou and Lianhua Lake, Yangshui Station and Bailuzhou.
Bosten Lake is a subsidence lake in the mountains, and its main source of water is the Kaidu River, which is also the source of the Kongque River. There are luxuriant reeds growing around the lake area with an area of 600,000 mu, which is an important reed production base in China.
The speedboat sailed through the lake with the blue sky above the head; the water rippled behind and the wind swelled in the ears; the water ripples undulated and extended behind the boat, beating the reeds not far away, and startling the wild herons in the bushes. Everyone was intoxicated in the poetic and picturesque feeling of "fighting for the crossing, startling a pool of gulls and herons".
It's a beautiful scene of "the sunset and the lone duck fly together, and the autumn water is the same color as the sky".
The boss of the boat said that due to the drought this year, there is a shortage of water in various places, and the water level in Bohu Lake has been released to support the drought. The water level has dropped, and tourist boats cannot enter the reed marshes. Otherwise, it is another scene to enter the reed marsh to see the scenery.
Bosten Lake has vast waters and vast mist, and is known as a pearl in the vast desert sea. Judging from the parking lot, there are quite a lot of people traveling by car.
The most beautiful part of the Golden Beach of Bosten Lake is its sand, which is shiny and golden in color. The average particle size is between 0.5 and 0.8 mm. It was washed by floods and deposited on the shore of Bosten Lake. This is a great venue for a game of beach volleyball.
2. Arrive in Korla for accommodation
Korla is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang, and the prefecture-level administrative region capital of Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture. It is also known as "Pear City" because of its rich "Korla fragrant pears" which are well-known both at home and abroad. It is located in the central part of Xinjiang, at the southern foot of the Tianshan Mountains, leaning against the branches of the Tianshan Mountains in the north, and facing the Taklimakan Desert, the second largest desert in the world in the south. It is the throat of the middle road of the ancient Silk Road and one of the birthplaces of Western culture.
In the evening we stayed in Korla and took a night view of Korla at the hotel.
3. Visit Kuqa Grand Canyon
Itinerary for the second day of the tour: After breakfast, take a bus about 300 kilometers to visit the Kuqa Grand Canyon. Return to Kuqa for accommodation at night.
The bus drove out of Korla and headed west. A railway on the right runs parallel to the road from time to time, and the rolling hills in the distance are also accompanying it.
The bus goes around the city outside Kuqa City and turns north, and runs along the Duku Highway to the Kuqa Grand Canyon.
At noon, we had lunch at a place in the town of Isihara.
1. Visit Kuqa Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon is located next to the Duku Highway, about 70 kilometers away from Kuqa County. It is a canyon in the Kizilya Mountains, a branch of the Tianshan Mountains. Located at the southern foot of the West Tianshan Mountains, the canyon has a total length of more than 5,000 meters and a height difference of 200 meters. At the narrowest point, only one person can pass sideways. The charm of the Grand Canyon lies not only in its grandeur and steepness, but also in its depth, tranquility and mystery. The canyons here are dominated by reddish-brown rocks, which have been eroded by wind and rain for thousands of years.
On the side of the Grand Canyon, there are jagged peaks, competing to rise; peaks and ridges, piercing the ground, skyscrapers, cliffs and rocks, majestic and magical; mysterious caves, each with its own meaning.
What is even more amazing is that, on a cliff about 35 meters high at a depth of 1,400 meters from the mouth of the valley, there is a site of the Thousand Buddha Caves built in the prosperous Tang Dynasty with mural paintings. It is unique among the more than 300 Buddhist grottoes discovered so far in the Western Regions, which is really rare.
The Mysterious Grand Canyon combines the wonders of human canyons with the wonders of the Tianshan Mountains. Since its discovery in 1999, the policy of simultaneously developing and receiving tourists has been adopted, and the number of tourists has increased day by day.
There is no valley without mountains, and the peaks and valleys are more secluded. In the valley, there are many peaks and ridges, twists and turns, and the peaks and circuits turn around. There are scenery every step of the way.
2. Accommodation in Kuqa
Kuqa is a famous national historical and cultural city. It is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of the Aksu region. It is located in the middle of the southern foot of the Tianshan Mountains and the northern edge of the Tarim Basin. It is in the middle of Urumqi to Kashgar and Dushanzi to Hotan. The Xinjiang Railway crosses the county, which can be described as a transportation hub.
Kuqa has a very long history, known as Qiuci in history, and is one of the thirty-six countries in the Western Regions. There are a large number of ancient city walls, ancient temples, caves, beacons, ancient smelting sites, ancient tombs and other cultural relics and historic sites preserved in the territory. During the Han Dynasty, the Protectorate of the Western Regions was located in Kuqa.
When you arrive at your hotel, pack your luggage. The team leader told everyone: Take the Duku Highway to Bayinbulak tomorrow. More than half of the Duku Highway passes through lofty mountains and deep valleys. There are many sharp bends and big bends, and vehicles with more than seven seats are restricted from passing. We need to transfer to a seven-seater commercial vehicle for travel, so we need to bring less luggage, and the suitcase can be placed on the bus. The bus detoured to Xinyuan County and waited to meet us.
The streets in Kuqa City are clean and green, and the transportation is good. When the lanterns come on, it looks even more peaceful and warm.
4. Take the Duku Highway to Bayinbulak
Itinerary for the third day of the tour: Transfer to a seven-seater commercial vehicle and go to Bayinbulak via the Duku Highway. You can stop at designated spots along the way to see the scenery. Overnight stay in Bayinbulak.
1. Duku Highway
Duku Highway is National Highway 217, starting from Dushanzi District in the north and ending at Kuqa City in the south, with a total length of 562 kilometers. The scenery along the way is infinite. With the continuous change of the height difference, you can enjoy world-class scenery such as Yadan landform, forest valley, Gobi desert, snow mountain lake, alpine meadow; natural environment. Affected by climatic factors, it is only open from June to October every year for tourists to enjoy.
The section of the Duku Highway from Kuqa to the Grand Canyon is basically a classic Yardang landform. The scenery along the way is really more wild and shocking than the colorful Danxia in Zhangye and the colorful beach in Burqin. Perhaps it is precisely because it is not artificially enclosed, but it is more natural.
After the opening of the Duku Highway, it has been hailed as the most beautiful mountain road. Its danger, steepness, strangeness and beauty have attracted the attention of the world.
A railway is stretching forward beside the highway. I believe it will not be long before the railway flies from north to south, and the natural moat will change and open.
Looking at the vast, magnificent, beautiful and colorful nature outside the car window is immediately refreshing.
Go north along the Duku Highway for 120 kilometers and enter the hinterland of Tianshan Mountain. Before crossing the Tielimaiti Daban, there are two alpine lakes, one large and one small, on the side of the road, which are the big and small Longchi. Daxiaolongchi is an alpine lake. The temperature in the lake area is low, it does not freeze in winter, and it is cool in summer. The tourist season is from the beginning of May to the end of October every year.
The water surface area of Dalongchi is about 2 square kilometers, surrounded by mountains on all sides, covered with white snow all year round, there is a hill between the big and small dragon ponds, but the scenery is not much different, except that the area of Xiaolongchi is much smaller. Above the snow line grows the precious Chinese herbal medicine - snow lotus. At the foot of the mountain are verdant firs and cypresses, green grass, flocks of cattle and sheep, dotted with herdsmen's yurts, and occasionally snow chickens, yellow sheep and snow leopards can be seen.
The Tielimaiti Tunnel is 1,895 meters long and was built in May 1979 and completed in September 1983. Tielimaiti Daban at an altitude of 3,220 meters is the watershed of the main ridge of Zhongtian Mountain, and also the dividing line between Hejing and Kuqa.
There is a square iron gate at the north entrance of Tilimati Tunnel.
The Duku Highway runs through the mountains, trekking through mountains and rivers, over mountains and ridges, the road is winding and winding, and the riders look left and right, which is an exciting and eye-catching trip.
The opposite road collapsed, and the two-way road became a single-lane traffic at the wrong time. We will also pass by later.
Go up the bridge and cross the river and go through the landslide.
Bayinbulak is not only the second largest grassland in China after Ordos, Inner Mongolia, but also the largest alpine grassland in China. The average altitude is between 1500 meters and 2500 meters, and the surrounding mountains are all above 3000 meters above sea level. It is a typical alpine grassland grassland. . The average temperature in summer here is only about 17 degrees Celsius, and the permafrost layer is under the thin surface soil, so it is difficult for trees to survive. Such an environment has created alpine pastures and nurtured countless cattle and sheep.
Bayinbulak Grassland is rich in water and grass, but the temperature is extremely low. Most of the growth is short butter grass, which feeds more than 600,000 (only) cattle and sheep. It is one of the animal husbandry bases in Xinjiang.
The well-known excellent breed "Bayinbulak Black-headed Sheep" is resistant to the extreme cold of minus 40 degrees, but the meat is delicate and delicious. It is a hybrid of local sheep and European sheep brought back from Russia by the Donggui tribe.
The myriad scenes of the beautiful Xinjiang spread outside the car window, and every mile on the Duku Highway is full of surprises. And the mood along the way also has ups and downs. Can't tell whether you are in the painting or the painting is in your eyes?
We arrived at Bayinbulak Town at 4:00 p.m. and stayed here at night. It is said that Bayinbulak is the only large-scale town in Duku, with many accommodation options, ranging from ordinary yurts to high-end yurts (and Jingdong Guijia) to large hotels.
2. Visit Bayinbulak Scenic Area
Check into the hotel to wash and tidy up, and bring thick clothes to Bayinbulak Scenic Area.
In October 2016, Bayinbulak was established as a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction. Scenic spots include: the largest national-level swan nature reserve in the country --- Swan Lake, the most beautiful village in China --- Bayinbulak Town, China's top scenic spots --- Kaidu River Jiuqu Eighteen Bays.
Bayinbulak Grassland is mainly located in Bayingoleng Mongolia Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang and Bayinbulak District in the northwest of Jingxian County. It is the second largest grassland in China after Ordos, Inner Mongolia. The Bayinbulak Grassland is less affected by human activities and has preserved many rare species in the world. It has become an ideal breeding habitat for wild animals such as swans, snow chickens, and snow leopards. There are traffic vehicles running back and forth when entering the scenic spot, and Swan Lake is one of the stops.
Swan Lake is actually a large swamp composed of many small lakes connected in series. This is the first swan nature reserve in China. The protected area has lush water and grass and a humid climate.
Under the warm sunshine, the lake water, sky light, cloud shadow, and swans form a picture of waterfowl contending. The swan parents protect their young and swim in the lake, presenting a beautiful picture of man and nature. Can't help but think of the poem "this scene should only be in the sky".
Bayinbulak, the hometown of swans, is a quiet and peaceful place, a beautiful paradise on earth, and a miracle place in the world.
At Swan Lake, take the traffic bus for another stop, and see a temple with red walls and golden roofs on the grassland deep in the scenic spot, shining brightly in the sunset.
Transfer to the traffic bus and come to the gate of "Nine Curves and Eighteen Bays Bends". Here you can take a car up the mountain, or ride a horse or hike up the mountain to see the scenery.
The scenic area has a wide field of vision and prominent landscape layers. As the altitude rises, the vertical landscape belt is obvious. It can be said that one mountain has one scene, one slope has one scene, the car turns with the scene, and the scene is like a painting.
The same viewing point will have different visual experience from different angles, and the surrounding landscape is full of changes.
The Kaidu River, which originates from the Tianshan Mountains, flows down from the mountains. It is warm and cool. It not only adds vitality to the grasslands, but also serves as the mother river for the local people to survive. Flowing all the way, the frail stream turned into a magnificent torrent, which not only moistened ten thousand acres of grassland, but also formed a magnificent scene of nine bends and eighteen bends.
Every day at sunrise and sunset, tourists from all over the world will be attracted here to enjoy the rare grassland wonders. We also gathered around the top of Basilik Mountain with our partners to watch thousands of rays of light shoot from the gaps in the clouds to the vast grassland, and sprinkle the light on every bend of the river.
It was very late, the sunset and the people scattered, and the song ended and the return journey. Back to the hotel, tired and tired, wash and sleep.
5. Go to Duku to Qiaoerma and turn to Baili Gallery
The fourth day of travel itinerary: Continue along the Duku Highway for about 190 kilometers to Qiaoerma, then turn to Tangbula Scenic Area to see the Baili Gallery. Stay in Xinyuan County at night and meet the bus carrying our luggage.
1. Take the Duku Highway to Qiaoerma
After breakfast, leave Bayinbulak, continue to take a seven-seater commercial vehicle to travel the middle section of Duku Highway to Qiaoerma.
On the way, take a break to watch the scenery and play horseback riding. The old man chatted about being a teenager, with a little romantic interest.
Time does not spare people, and we cannot spare the world. Work hard and go retrograde with time, and live a wonderful life. Understand life while living it. Reassure yourself while looking forward to it. Life is not easy, but do it and cherish it.
The bright moon shines among the pines, and the clear spring stones flow upwards. The mountains and rivers are far and wide, and there are galaxies in the world, none of them are you, and all of them are not you.
The ever-changing scenery along the way and the colorful landscape and landforms are breathtaking.
Qiaoerma is located at the intersection of the Duku Highway and Yiqiao Highway across the Tianshan Mountains. The terrain here is dangerous, and a bridge connects the north and the south. The frontier defense of the motherland is of great significance.
To commemorate the comrades who sacrificed their lives in the construction of the Duku Highway, the people of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region built the Tianshan Duku Highway Martyrs Monument at the southern end of the Qiaoerma Bridge in 1984, so that the great achievements of the martyrs will last forever and remain in the hearts of people of all ethnic groups .
From Qiaoerma, turn to the road leading to Baili Gallery, and the beautiful scenery is reflected in front of you. The sky is blue and clear, white clouds are painted on the sky, and the snow-capped mountains in the distance are clearly visible.
2. Tanggula Baili Gallery
Tangbula is the collective name for the grassland landscape of the Kashgar River Canyon in Nilek County. The scenery here is beautiful, with forests, grasslands, flying streams, mountains and rocks, etc. The movie "Tianshan Red Flower" was filmed here, and Tangbula has become famous ever since. "Baili Gallery" starts from Qiaoerma in the east along Provincial Highway 315 to Tangbula Mountain Resort.
Nilek produces black honey, and the words "Sweet Nilek Welcomes You" are very eye-catching on the roadside.
Sit and watch the world, live a happy life.
The Tangbula Grassland is in a narrow valley. The reason why this narrow grassland is so charming is because the valley it is in is moist, pure, green and beautiful. Wetness is reflected in the dense and verdant vegetation in the mountains and rivers; purity is in the fact that those large patches of dark green are hardly mixed with any other colors.
Most tourists will stop and watch at the viewing point of Baili Gallery.
At the eye-catching place of Baili Gallery, tourists are smiling and taking pictures.
The Kashgar River runs through Tangbula, and the river is wide and winding. So that it looks smart but not weak, grand but not rough.
Baili Gallery is truly a masterpiece of nature. And these masterpieces can change for us to appreciate, feast our eyes, and let us have more visual pleasure. This is really a beautiful blessing that God has bestowed on us!
Leave Baili Gallery and drive about 100 kilometers to Xinyuan County for accommodation. Our bus will meet us in Xinyuan County with our large luggage.
3. Accommodation in Xinyuan County
Xinyuan County, under the jurisdiction of Yili Prefecture, is located at the eastern end of the Yili River Valley, which is the Gongnaisi River Valley. Known as the "Pearl of Grassland, Wine Country of Xinjiang", the ecological environment quality ranks first among 91 counties and cities in Xinjiang.
The layout of the county seat is quite satisfactory, low-key and unassuming, and it feels like a comfortable and livable place.
6. Nalati Tourist Scenic Area
Nalati Tourist Scenic Area is located in Xinyuan County, Yili, Xinjiang, and belongs to the natural scenic area of mountains, rivers, valleys and grasslands. The total area is 800 square kilometers, the average altitude is 1800 meters, the annual rainfall is about 880 mm, and the annual average temperature is about 20 degrees Celsius.
In January 2011, it was awarded the national AAAAA-level scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration. In April 2015, it was rated as a national-level eco-tourism demonstration area. From south to north, the scenic area is composed of alpine grassland sightseeing area, Kazakh folk custom area, and tourist and living area.
1. Enter the Nalati Scenic Area
After breakfast, we took a bus for 70 kilometers to Nalati Scenic Area. Visit Nalati Scenic Area all day, and return to Xinyuan County for accommodation at night.
If you don't go to Xinjiang, you don't know how big China is, and if you don't go to Yili, you don't know the beauty of Xinjiang.
Nalati Grassland (also known as Gongnaisi Grassland) is a subalpine meadow plant area, one of the four major grasslands in the world, and one of the six most beautiful grasslands in my country. The Nalati grassland is densely covered with streams, criss-crossing rivers and rich in vegetation. It has been a famous pasture since ancient times.
Buy tickets in the ticket hall of the scenic spot (it is best to order in advance), go out to see the signs and take the transportation car of your choice, get on the car and set off to see the scenery.
After taking the scenic traffic car for a gentle journey, we started to climb the mountain. Nalati Grassland has undulating mountains and green grass. It has both the beauty of the mountains and the momentum of the pine forest. It is as dazzling as a piece of emerald.
2. Tour the grassland in the air
The grassland in the air is a typical alpine meadow and subalpine meadow landform that integrates snow-melting mountains, plateaus, forests, meadows, and rivers. It is well-deservedly called "air grassland".
Climb to the viewing platform of the air grassland and see the cableway station under construction. It is expected that you can take the cableway up the mountain soon.
Climbing high and looking far: a highway cuts through the green grass, undulates and bends forward, and stretches to the opposite mysterious mountains and meadows. Friends on the opposite side, let's change to a traffic car immediately, drive a Range Rover, watch the snow-capped mountains, roam the grasslands, and gallop across the valley grasslands on galloping horses. Eyes open, eyes closed, like a dream.
Nalati is very commercialized, and it takes money and time to play well; but it has good facilities, convenient transportation, various ways to play, and multiple choices of food and accommodation. Nalati is also No.1 in the Ili Valley. In the scenic area, there are Kazakh national traditional costumes to take pictures and try on, horse riding, archery and other folk characteristic items for tourists to experience.
The sky is high and the clouds are light, looking at the snow-capped mountains, seeing the green vegetation and listening to the gurgling water. Good mountains and rivers, heaven and earth.
By asking under the eastern fence of Ili, tourists point to Nalati.
There are verdant mountains, blooming flowers, bright smiling faces of children; small rivers as clear as glass, twists and turns, and sings cheerful little songs to the distance. The sky seemed to be washed blue, with white clouds floating in clusters one after another.
Nalati travels in July, and tourists come and go to talk about gods. The old man's heart is different from that of tourists, and he does not envy gods or young people.
The Nomad's House is located at the terminal of the Sky Grassland, which is the comprehensive service area of the Sky Grassland Line. We have lunch here, and then transfer to the bus to the next stop.
The swan geese returning to the north screamed sadly, you were the end of my wandering road, and told you what I owed you. The beekeeper of Nalati left her love in the grassland of Nalati. The statue of "The Beekeeper of Nalati" stands on the top of the mountain, looking into the distance, and the singing is beautiful and touching.
3. Tour the valley grassland
Tawusani, which means "beautiful valley" in Kazakh, is the first stop to enter the valley grassland. It has four mountains, snow-capped peaks, dense forests, rolling hills, and flat meadows. It is the window of the vertical natural landscape belt of the grassland.
Accompanied by beautiful scenery all the way, the scenery is better here. The sky is high and the clouds are clear, the water is blue and the wind is clear, the magnificent and beautiful grasslands, and the unique frontier scenery. Sorry, words are too poor to express. Let me add a sentence: There are flowers in spring, moon in autumn, cool wind in summer and snow in winter. If you have nothing to worry about, it is a good time in the world!
Wusun is an ancient nomadic tribe in the history of our country, which rose in the northwest of my country from the 2nd to the 1st century BC. During the Western Han Dynasty, Zhang Qian made two missions to the Western Regions to enhance the relationship between the Han Dynasty and the Western Regions. Wusun is the main source of the Kazakhs in my country today and is the main tribe that makes up the Kazakhs.
Ascending to overlook the river valley grassland, all kinds of unnamed wild flowers raise charming smiling faces, and the green and rolling hills in the distance, and the shepherd's tents are dotted in the river valley grassland with abundant water and grass. Wow, what a beautiful picture.
Looking at the majestic mountains and rivers of the Western Regions, people can't help shouting, the mountains and rivers are so beautiful! People can't help but sigh: spring, summer, autumn and winter, young and old, are all beautiful scenery; all kinds of flavors in life, tasting everything, are all delicacies; Travel all over thousands of rivers and mountains, drink all the flavors of life, and then have a long aftertaste~~~~ Commoner food, Coke for life!
"Where can you find the hometown of Wusun, and the shepherds point to Yilishui", the grassland tribe was built in June 2006, restoring the Wusun tribe more than 2,000 years ago, and becoming the first in the world to reflect the history, culture and folk customs of the Kazakh people Its comprehensive scenic spot, the Wusun Golden-roofed tent in the tribe, is called "the first tent in the Northwest".
Wusun Camp is undergoing external improvement, as well as the overall decoration of Wusun King Tent and Wusun Camp; at the same time, Wusun Camp, as a reduced version of the film and television base, can attract film crews from all over the country to come here for filming, and there may be other entertainment projects in the later stage .
From time to time during the trip, I will hear songs: My sweetheart, I am waiting for you in Keketuohai. They say that you married to Yili, is it because of the beautiful Nalati there, or the apricot blossoms there, that you can produce the sweetness you want~~
The apricot blossoms and Nalati mentioned in the songs "The Shepherd of Keketuohai" and "Nalati's Beekeeper" are all in Xinyuan County, which has also attracted more people's attention to the natural scenery of Xinjiang's 5A scenic spots.
The day's itinerary is compact and joyful, feasting the eyes and exhausting the body, and the tired bird returns to the forest to rest. In the evening we return to the hotel in Xinyuan County for accommodation.
Well, it's too long to write. During a trip, my wife and I took a lot of amateur photos with two mobile phones and a card machine, and we went home to sort out the materials and write this travel note. Leave a memory of browsing for the leisure time in the future, and save the topic of talking slowly while sitting in a rocking chair in the future. Between heaven and earth in life, if a white horse passes through the gap, it will be all of a sudden. Before the flowers of the next year, it is this year recalling last year.
I want to write another article "Xinjiang 2022 Tour Huocheng Lavender See Sailimu Kanas Baihaba", and insist on writing the Xinjiang travel itinerary slowly.
Points to note in the summary: First, the ID card and mobile phone must be kept well. In Xinjiang, if you lose your ID card or mobile phone, you will be unable to move a single step. Second, we must do a good job in epidemic prevention and control. Please be patient and cooperate with the inspection when you travel. The third is that the temperature difference between morning and evening in Xinjiang is large, and long trousers and long-sleeved clothes must be prepared in midsummer. In particular, Bayinbulak needs to wear thick clothes to watch the sunset at night. As for the high-reverse problem, there is basically no need to worry about it.
