tell me about this trip

Xinjiang,

With a fascinating history and culture,

With endless food,

It has endless natural scenery.

Xinjiang, with its magical charm, attracts countless people, no matter how far apart, they must go to see its charm.

For me, no matter how many times I go to Xinjiang, I will never get tired of it. No, I just came back from Karamay, and I'm going to unlock another new place right away.

Many people have asked me that they want to go to Xinjiang to play, but the distance is too far, and there are not so many holidays. I don’t know how to arrange it, and often I can only stop~

This time I recommend a relatively short check-in route for you, 3-4 days is enough. Whether it is history and culture, gourmet snacks, or natural scenery, the same is not left behind. In just a few days, you can realize your Xinjiang dream (of course, Xinjiang, which has a vast land and abundant resources, is far from enough)

To get to know the city of Shihezi, it starts with understanding the history

Army Reclamation Museum

On the land of 1.66 million square kilometers in Xinjiang, there is a place called "Gobi Pearl" and "Garden City", which is Shihezi City. It used to be a barren beach, overgrown with weeds, and the Manas River flows through it. The river is full of stones, and the name "Shihezi" comes from this.

Walking on the streets of Shihezi, the greening concept of "half city with green trees and half city buildings" is impressive. This is a city with a high sense of happiness.

Historically, Shihezi was the headquarters of the Xinjiang Corps, and it was also an emerging city where the Eighth Agricultural Division implemented a division-city management system. The Xinjiang Corps Army Reclamation Museum is located on the north side of the central square of Shihezi City.

Shihezi may be unfamiliar to many people, it is just a place name, just a city, but for Shihezi people, it is the memory of several generations, it is a place bought with sweat, tears and blood.

When you come to a strange city and want to understand its development, the museum must not be missed, so we went to the Military Reclamation Museum as soon as we came to Shihezi.

The Army Reclamation Museum is located on Beiziwu Road, Shihezi City. It is a national AAAA-level scenic spot and the only military reclamation museum in the country.

The entire museum is divided into several exhibition halls: Triumph into the Frontier, Hard Work, Burning Passion, and the Work of the Three Teams. In the exhibition hall, through a series of precious historical pictures, we can see that the older generation of military reclamation soldiers lived in the ground, pancakes with bluestone slabs, plowed by people, and cultivated fertile fields on the ancient wasteland under the very difficult conditions of the past. The factory was built and tall buildings were built. Looking at these, I was very touched.

Walking into this museum, behind every picture and every exhibit is the history of the struggle of the Corps. Precious historical pictures, precious revolutionary cultural relics, and vivid classic military reclamation stories seem to bring us to the passionate revolutionary age.

What left a deep impression on me was the patched military overcoats, clothes, socks and other underclothes worn. Looking at these patched traces, I couldn’t help but marvel at the hard-working spirit of those military reclamation soldiers back then, creating life with their hands. miracle.

Shihezi, a city built on the deserted Gobi Desert, the Army Reclamation Museum fully displays the development footprint of Shihezi from ancient times to the present. The spirit of the older generation is so eloquent. They have rewritten the history of mankind with their own hands. This real history will always be remembered.

Tips: When we went, the museum was undergoing internal renovation, and some exhibits were moved to the Science and Technology Museum (so you can pay attention to the reopening time of the museum after renovation)

Former Site of Tao Zhiyue Mansion

In the south of Shihezi Street Central Garden, there is a complete house preserved. It is the former site where the leaders of the 22nd Corps lived when they started their business, and it is also called Tao Zhiyue Mansion for short.

A small yard, a row of bungalows, neat and clean after repairs, looks low-key but unassuming.

The two generals Tao Zhiyue and Zhang Zhonghan knew that they had made great contributions to Shihezi when they learned about the history of Shihezi in the museum. When I came to their former office and residence, I had a deeper understanding of them. Walking inside, looking at the simple and simple working and accommodation conditions, it seems to see the figures of them writing hard at their desks and fighting all night.

On the periphery of the old site, there are still some agricultural tools used in the past, and each room in the room has wax figures of people and some items used at that time, which vividly restores a scene at that time.

Shihezi embodies Zhang Zhonghan's painstaking efforts, and his Shihezi urban planning plan designed in 1958 still plays a guiding role. Walking on the streets of Shihezi, the straight roads, dense trees, rushing traffic, clusters of contiguous buildings... because of their struggles in exchange for the current "Pearl of the Gobi", looking at all these, all evoked My admiration for them.

Chateau Changyu Baron Baron, a castle in a fairy tale

Shihezi,

It's colorful,

With its long history and culture of development,

It also has its fairy-tale dreamlike side,

It is worth our "wasting" time to know it, fall in love with it, and enjoy it~

The Baron Changyu Babao Winery is one of the wines worth our "wasting" time to enjoy. In the winter of Baron Changyu Babao Winery, the castle seems to be enchanted, covered with snow, turning into a fairy tale.

Baron Changyu Babao Winery is named after the first generation winemaker of Changyu Company, Baron Babao. It is located in Nanshan New District, Shihezi City. The overall architectural design of the winery is based on the French classical style of the 19th century, and the garden is full of greenery, leading to the main castle through the grape corridor. Big steps, romantic and beautiful, winter gardens, covered with ice and snow, like a dreamy winery in a fairy tale.

Changyu Baron Baron Winery is a modern large-scale winery integrating grape planting, wine production and experience sales, cultural communication, tourism, catering reception, and wedding photography.

Because it is winter, we have not seen the grapes planted, so we directly visited the underground wine cellar under the leadership of the staff. The underground wine cellar is a circular structure with a diameter of 85.6 meters, a depth of 8 meters, and a total area of 6,000 square meters. This is the first time I have seen such a large and spectacular wine cellar. It is not too much to say that it is a maze. If you are not familiar with it, you should follow the staff, otherwise you will not know where you are~

In the 6,000-square-meter circular wine cellar, more than 2,000 oak barrels are neatly placed, and the whole wine cellar exudes a faint aroma of wine. Stone columns, majestic and majestic, give people strength without losing the beauty of balance, professional temperature and humidity control, and simple decoration style create an optimal space for wine barrel storage and bottle storage.

In the wine tasting hall on the second floor, you can also taste the sweetness of red wine with your own mouth, the refreshing aroma of dry white wine, even the scent of wine in your breath, making you intoxicated~

In Chateau Changyu Baron Baron, its delicious food should not be missed. Since there is good wine, there must be delicious food! The freshly fried steak, paired with the winery's top red wine, is super satisfying.

There is also this big boat of beef that can’t be missed. It looks very fatty, but it doesn’t feel fat at all, and it has a good taste. Our friends can’t help but eat a few more pieces~

Standing on the top of the winery castle and looking far away, imagine that the Tianshan Mountains are not far away. If it is summer, there are endless vines at the foot of the Tianshan Mountains, and the air will be filled with the sweet fragrance of grapes. Now what you see in winter is the endless snow field, just like coming to a fairy tale castle. Who is not a child at this moment, and everyone wants to have a fairy tale castle dream~

Changji Muslim Snack Street, eat the authentic taste of Changji

Speaking of Changji, everyone knows that it is a gourmet capital, so when you come to Changji, you must go to the Muslim Snack Street, where there are many Muslim specialties.

Changji Muslim Snack Street is a tourist and leisure area integrating halal catering, special tourism and Muslim culture. It is located in the Northeast District of Changji City, at the northeast corner of the People's Park.

The architectural style of the Muslim snack street is a combination of traditional Islamic architectural style and Chinese classical architectural form, forming a brick-carved wall and minarets-style architectural model, with antique as the keynote, using green tile roofs, blue brick carvings, and iron-red hollows. doors and windows. The architectural color is based on the Hui people's preference for blue and green, supplemented by yellow and white, representing the Hui Muslims' yearning for a peaceful and peaceful life.

The car drove to the entrance of the snack street, we got out of the car and walked in, the snowflakes were flying all over the sky, the Ping An Tower stood proudly there, and all the colorful lights on the tower were lit up, becoming one of the most beautiful scenery in the night.

The meatball soup, yogurt, pilaf, halal pastries, pepper chicken, cold skin and many other special snacks in the snack street can meet your requirements.

I ate my favorite pepper chicken~

Because it is cold in winter and there are few tourists, the snack street looks a bit deserted, but the shops with lights on are all open, so there are still many things to eat.

If you like the customs of the Hui nationality and the cuisine of the Hui people, when you come to Changji, come to the Huimin snack street. I'm also looking forward to another season to see what makes it different~

Tianshan Tianchi, a dreamy Frozen

Tianshan Tianchi was called "Yaochi" in ancient times. It is a natural lake centered on alpine lakes. The scenic spot is centered on Tianchi. It is the first choice destination for tourists from all over the world to visit Xinjiang.

Tianshan Tianchi has always been a dream in my heart, and it is also the attraction I most want to visit this trip. I started to want to travel to Xinjiang because I knew the beautiful place of Tianshan Tianchi. As the saying goes, if you never forget, there must be an echo. This time, I finally came to Tianchi in Tianshan as I wished.

After arriving at the security check of the scenic spot, get on the sightseeing car of the scenic spot and go to the center of Tianchi Lake. As the vehicle moves forward, we seem to have entered a dream world.

"Wow, wow, it's so beautiful!" Suddenly I heard the friend in front yell, and everyone in the car looked ahead. Along the way, the branches of Xueling spruce are covered with snowflakes. The pure beauty can really make you suffocate.

"Master, can I stop the car?" (Because there is usually no parking on the road) Unable to control the excitement, everyone wanted to get out of the car and embrace the beautiful scenery in front of them. Looking at the trees and snow in front of us, it seems to take us into a picturesque fairyland.

Under the sunshine, the silver light flickers, beautiful and moving. This is the wonder of Tianchi rime. Rime is completely a masterpiece of nature. The creation of heaven and earth is a beauty bestowed by God. We are so lucky to be able to witness these landscapes.

After staying here for a while, we arrived at the next destination - West Xiaotianchi. West Xiaotian Lake is located on the roadside about two kilometers below the foot of Tianchi Lake. It is not a big lake. The water in the pool is deep and clear, surrounded by green pines, and the reflection of the pine trees can also be seen in the pool.

The snowflakes are flying, and the green pines that grow randomly are covered with white clothes, which are really beautiful, just like a still landscape painting.

The children in the south are very excited when they see the snow. They grab a handful of soft snow and put it in their mouths~

After the unknown tree by the pool was covered with ice and snow, it was covered in silver. No matter from which angle you look at it, it is a 360-degree beauty with no dead ends. This is how you met the Frozen that you wanted in your dream~

Maybe many people have seen the Tianchi in spring, summer and autumn, but not necessarily the Tianchi in winter. The Tianchi in winter is even more beautiful.

After the snow, Tianchi stretches as far as the eye can see, with snow trees and silver flowers. The surface of the lake is frozen by the cold of deep winter. Under the blue sky, the white snow shines like a diamond. The Tianchi Lake under the blue sky is no longer as lively as it used to be. The calm world is more like a painting, dreamlike and pure. wonderland.

In winter, the Tianchi Lake is covered with silver everywhere, the fairy-like mist, and the wonderful rime, all of which constitute the fairy-tale world of Tianshan Tianchi in winter.

If there are fairy tale wonderlands in the world, Tianchi Mountain Tianchi is one of them. The Tianchi Lake after the snow is so dreamy that it is a bit unreal, even if it is shivering from the cold, I don't want to leave. That moment exists in a fairy tale, and the surprises encountered can eliminate all unhappiness.

Accommodation recommendation

Dushanzi: Stay at Ou Mirador Hotel (Address: No. 175, North Fifth Road, Shihezi 38 Community)

The design is more fashionable, the environment is clean and comfortable, the room space is larger, the cost performance is high, and the smart space layout is more considerate.

Changji: Live in Changji Silk Road Impression Theme Inn (Address: Intersection of Wuyi East Road and Tunhe North Road, Changji City)

An inn with local characteristics and folk customs. The interior decoration is exquisite, and the public areas include coffee shops, book bars and other leisure and entertainment areas. When we arrived at the store, the staff also prepared dried fruits and fruits for us, very considerate~

Rooms with different styles and different themes are full of strong folk customs. I stayed in a folk landscape room. The room is relatively large and mainly in blue tones. It looks elegant and stylish, and with exquisite furnishings, it will make you feel happy when you live in it.

Urumqi: Stay at Chutian Silver Star Hotel (Address: 639 Qitai Road, Shayibake District, Urumqi)

A hotel that integrates accommodation, catering, recreation, shopping, business, and office buildings. It is conveniently located, very close to the railway station and long-distance bus station, and about 30 minutes to Urumqi Airport.

Food recommendation

Xinjiang, with its vast land and abundant resources, is a very inclusive city. You can eat food from all over the country, so you don’t have to worry about getting used to it when you go to Xinjiang. The local food in Xinjiang is generally spicy, salty, and oily, but according to the few times I have eaten it, the taste is not bad.

Recommendations: Pepper chicken, baked buns stuffed with mutton, big plate chicken, mutton skewers/beef skewers, yogurt, and Shihezi's small four-sided skin. These are all delicious.

transportation

Shihezi has mature transportation facilities such as Shihezi Airport, Shihezi Railway Station, and Beijiang Passenger Transport Center. You can fly to Shihezi from anywhere, but there is no direct flight from Guangzhou to Shihezi. If you want to transfer in Urumqi, you can choose to fly directly to Urumqi first.

Chartered car is the most common way to travel in Xinjiang, because every scenic spot in Xinjiang has a certain distance, so chartered car is very necessary. One is a short-distance chartered car, that is, chartered a car to a different place for 1-2 days to visit the scenic spots in this place, and the other is a long-distance chartered car, usually starting from Urumqi, depending on the number of days in the itinerary, it will vary according to the model and itinerary The price also fluctuates slightly (these can be communicated with the driver according to your own itinerary)

Travel Tips

1. Required documents: ID card, security check, check-in, and some scenic spots are also required.

2. Clothing: Xinjiang will be very cold in winter, and the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor is huge. Down jackets, jackets, sweaters, gloves, hats, scarves, warm pants, masks, etc. are all necessary outdoor items. The snow is thick, so you must wear warm clothes Non-slip snow boots.

3. Skin care/sun protection items: skin care products, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, lip balm, if the weather is cold, you can bring a warm baby.

4. Medicines: Commonly used medicines such as cold medicines and gastrointestinal medicines. The weather in the north is dry, so you can prepare some medicines to relieve internal heat and moisten the throat.

5. Photographic equipment: cameras, lenses, chargers, SD cards, spare camera batteries, winter jackets, etc. In cold areas, the camera will consume electricity faster, so the battery must be prepared, because there are too many places you want to shoot in Xinjiang, and you can bring a tripod if you are not afraid of trouble~

6. It is recommended to carry a backpack, which can put common items on the road: mobile phone, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, water, etc. In cold and dry weather, be sure to bring a thermos cup to replenish more water.

7. If necessary, you can bring some snacks, because you spend a lot of time on the road every day.

8. Xinjiang is an ethnic minority area with a strong religious color, so you must respect local customs when you go there.

9. The geographic location of Xinjiang is located in East 6 time zone, while Beijing is located in East 8 time zone, so there is a time difference of two hours. In summer, the higher the latitude, the longer the day, the sun can rise at 5:00 in the morning and the sunset at 10:30 in the evening. In winter, it is the opposite, and the daytime time Short, it usually doesn't get light until 9-10 in the morning, and it gets dark around 19:00 in the evening, so their working hours are different from those in the mainland.
