Interlude an overview of Qin Zhidao: also known as Zhidao, one of Qin Chidao, a military transportation project built for the Qin Dynasty. It began to be built in the 35th year of Qin Shihuang and lasted two and a half years. From Xianyang (the starting point is Chunhua County in Xianyang) to Jiuyuan County (near Baotou). Yongning Mountain Ancient Village is located on the east side of Luohe River, Yongning Town, Zhidan County, with an altitude of 1312 meters, east-west direction, 2.2 kilometers long and 1.5 kilometers wide, all made of red sandstone. The mountain ridge protrudes to the Luohe River with a mouth, and the Luohe River surrounds it on the east, west and south sides. The mountaintop is majestic and independent, with steep rocks and cliffs.

D5: The first stop, Xixia Mausoleum (also known as Xixia Royal Mausoleum AAAAA), located at the foot of Helan Mountain in the western suburbs of Yinchuan City, is the royal mausoleum of the Xixia Dynasty, where many emperors of the Xixia Dynasty were buried. D7: Drive to Xiangsha Bay (AAAAA), about 1.5 hours, 60 kilometers. It is located at the easternmost end of the Kubuqi Desert. Kubuqi is Mongolian, and its Chinese meaning is bowstring. The desert runs from north to south, winding for more than 800 miles, with a total area of 16,100 square kilometers. According to legend, during the first year of the Wu Dynasty in the Tang Dynasty, Zhang Guolao, one of the Eight Immortals, rode a thousand-mile divine donkey backwards to Tengzhou City (now the Ordos area), enjoyed the shade under a papaya tree, and fell asleep unconsciously. The curious village boy poked the bag on the donkey's back, and sand flowed out of it, and it was out of control. Zhang Guolao was woken up, and there was already a sea of sand in front of him, forming the Kubuqi Desert. He was extremely remorseful, and swiped with the finger of God. A sandy bay was drawn at the eastern end of the desert to form a sandy bay, and Lei Gong was invited to wait here to make the sound of sand grains continue.

D8: The first stop: destination, Wudangzhao, about 1.5 hours, about 60 kilometers. Built on the mountain, it means "land of willows" in Mongolian and "Badagar" in Tibetan. It is one of the four famous temples of Tibetan Buddhism in my country (Potala, Ta'er Temple, Labrang). Larger Tibetan Buddhist Gelug Sect monastery. Compared with the other three Tibetan Buddhist schools, the scale is much smaller. Photography is not allowed inside the temple, and some exterior scenes were taken casually.
Many friends once asked me why there are always temples in my footprints. In fact, temples are all built in places with beautiful scenery and excellent Fengshui; temples can listen to one's heart and make oneself peaceful.
The itinerary that was added temporarily, Meidaizhao, backed by Yinshan Mountain and south of the Yellow River, is a unique historical and cultural landscape in the whole country. There are tall and thick city walls around, which are thick and strong, in a rectangular shape. Walk around and overlook from a high place. There are many Han cultural elements in the temple, which are built in a fusion of Mongolian and Tibetan styles. I heard that there are highly ornamental murals in the temple, but it is a pity that the Daxiong Hall and the Liuli Hall are under maintenance and cannot be visited.

The Mongolian name "Yikezhao" means "big temple". Built in the Ming Dynasty, it is a Yellow Sect temple in Hohhot and one of the few temples in Mongolia that does not have a living Buddha. Personally, the statues in Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes are mainly painted statues and clay murals. It combines sculpture and painting into one. The colorful murals are the most classic, and all kinds of characters in the Buddhist scriptures and the handprints of the Buddha are all on the wall. It is also the largest. The Longmen Grottoes are dominated by stone statues, the largest Buddha statue is 17.14 meters high, and the smallest is only 2 centimeters. The Yungang Grottoes are a combination of the former two. Many of the murals in the grottoes are also dominated by stone carvings, and the carvings in the style of Chinese palace architecture appear in the grottoes. The scale ranks second among the three major grottoes.
