Yesanpo, the magical darling of the earth
Yesanpo is located in Laishui County, Baoding, Hebei Province. She belongs to the "junior" among the national scenic spots, but it is already a national 5A tourist attraction.
Yesanpo is located at the confluence of Taihang Mountain and Yanshan Mountain, two major mountain ranges in northern my country, above the northern end of the Zijingguan Deep Fault Zone. Over the past 1.4 billion years of geological evolution, Yesanpo has created a majestic, dangerous, strange and secluded natural landscape. In the intraplate orogenic belt of North China, the Yesanpo geological relic is typical, rare, and systematic, and it is a vivid classroom for geological science popularization.
Yesanpo has seven major scenic spots and 108 scenic spots. We only talk about the key points, and it is also the Baili Gorge with the most tourists.
Baili Gorge is one of the unique scenic spots in Yesanpo, known as "the first gorge in the world". In the hundreds of miles of "structured valleys" where "double cliffs stand against the sky, and thousands of feet are cut from the ground", there are thousands of cliffs, dangerous cliffs, wild and interesting valleys, and the scenery changes with each step. Multiple periods of intense tectonic movements and magmatic activities have left majestic historical pictures.
Huarong Road
The TV series "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" Cao Cao defeated Huarong Road was filmed here. The two walls of the canyon are close and upright, like an ax chopping with a knife, so it is called "Zhanggu" in geology. It was formed by the development of multiple sets of vertical fissures (called "structural joints" in geology) in the rock strata, which were later formed by collapse, erosion and erosion by flowing water in the mountains.
Large cracks and vertical joints of the rock strata are formed by weathering and erosion along the joint surface, and then being eroded and transported by flowing water. If the crack expands further, a "line of sky" will be formed.
