It was almost Mother's Day that year, and I took a day off on Sunday to spend four memorable days with my two mothers. After a woman gets married, she spends so many days with her mother in her life, and traveling with her is even more difficult. In order to keep these short days, I can’t bear to delete every photo, and also to let mothers see themselves more, so The travel notes have become a photo collection. I hope that old friends on the Internet will understand the heart of a daughter.

Shapotou Scenic Spot is located 16 kilometers west of Zhongwei City, Ningxia. It is the first batch of 5A-level tourist attractions in the country. It is the junction point of Ningxia, Mongolia and Gansu provinces (regions), the first mouth of the Yellow River, the Eurasian passage, and the only place where the ancient Silk Road must pass. Shapotou Scenic Area is 585 kilometers away from Liulin County, and now it takes seven and a half hours to drive. In 2012, the speed limit was not so strict, and we passed in just over five hours.

This is the second time for me to visit this place. I visited it once in June 2010. I feel that Yinchuan is a good place to visit. I want my mothers to visit it too. I came here after three years.

Shapotou Scenic Spot is located on the southeastern edge of the Tengger Desert, in the transition zone between desert and grassland. Standing at an average altitude of 1250m, the surface of the Yellow River is 1200m above sea level, and the highest point of the sand dune is 1500m above sea level. Feeling hot and uncomfortable because the climate here belongs to the arid climate zone,

Shapotou gathers Shenshan Mountain, desert, Yellow River, oasis, and grassland in one place, and gathers Changliushui Paleolithic Site, Mengjiawan Neolithic Site, Qin Dynasty Kiln, Han Dynasty River Weir, Silk Road Post Station, and Xixia Royal Garden. , integrating Great Wall culture, Silk Road culture, nomadic culture, farming culture and modern sand control achievements, its diverse and integrated history is brilliant, and its unique landscape makes people linger and forget to return.

Sandboarding was the first experience project in Shapotou, and my daughter had fun playing it, but it is a pity that the elderly over 70 years old are not allowed to skate.

I also skating quickly while I was young, so as not to attract people's eyes in the future. And decided to visit the places that can be reached while young.

It is not often seen in the life of camels. The body hair of camels is generally brown, and there are also light yellow, gray and other colors; there are tufts of hair on the top of the head, and the body hair is fluffy and long; The limbs are thicker and the hooves are wider and flatter. There are two types of camels, Bactrian camels and dromedary camels. Bactrian camels were once widely domesticated in northern my country, and they can still be seen in Inner Mongolia and Northwest China. For a long time in the past, it has been used as the main means of transportation between the port and the capital, and it is known as the "boat of Jinghua". Some people think that dromedary camels were once distributed in Xinjiang, my country, but now they are only found in the Arabian Peninsula, India and northern Africa. It has shorter body hair and a lifespan of up to 50 years.

The second experience project is riding a camel. Older people can only make a small circle within the sight of the camel owner, and mothers with high blood pressure can only watch it.

There are water bladders in the camel's stomach, which can store a lot of water; the two high humps of the camel can store more than 100 kilograms of fat, which can be converted into water and energy when necessary to maintain the life activities of the camel. Therefore, in the desert, you can go without food or drink for thirty or forty days, which is suitable for long-distance treks.

Camels are good at walking in the desert, because they have two pairs of unique soles, with thick spring-like pads under the soles. When walking, the toes are spread out in front, so that walking on the sand surface will not sink into the sand nest. . When it travels, it raises its head high, so that its eyes will not be burned by the high heat reflected by the sun on the ground. The camel's eyes with long eyelashes, nostrils that open and close automatically, and ears covered with dense hair can protect it from wind and sand.

As early as 2,000 years ago in the Western Han Dynasty, the people of our country used camels as a means of transportation to the Western Regions.

This is also a tool for sandboarding

When camels walk long distances in the desert, they are often hungry and thirsty. At this time, the fat in the hump will be decomposed to supply the nutrients and water needed by the camel. The reason why camels can endure thirst in the water-scarce desert is that they usually drink less water, and can drink more than 100 liters of water in 10 minutes. At the same time, they drain less water, and only excrete about one liter of urine a day in summer, and they are not easy to open their mouths. Prevent the water in the body from going out, so in the summer desert, it can not drink water for 8 days without drying out.

Shahu can let old mothers ride camels, and they rode them happily.

The sand lake can also allow mothers to ski on the sand, and the 76-year-old mother-in-law slipped on it without fear

In ancient times, Helan Mountain was the place where the Xiongnu, Xianbei, Turkic, Uighur, Tubo, Dangxiang and other northern minorities lived, lived and multiplied. They chiseled the scenes of production and life on the rocks of Helan Mountain to express their yearning and pursuit of a better life, and reproduced their aesthetic views, social customs and life interest at that time. In the hinterland of Helan Mountain, which is more than 200 kilometers long from north to south, there are more than 20 remains of rock paintings. Among them, the most representative ones are Helankou Rock Paintings.

Helan Mountain rock paintings have a history of more than 6,000 years.

See, the face on the rock above is a petroglyph

There are two face petroglyphs on the big rock behind the little girl

The trash can in Helan Mountain is also special

Helan Mountain saw a lot of blue sheep, they ran very fast, and it was hard to grab a photo

The blue sheep that are running fast can only be seen if you look closely.

Another rock painting, take a closer look, according to the tour guide, different patterns represent different meanings

When I was in the car, I saw countless blue sheep. I took pictures, but the color of the blue sheep was the same as the rock. If I didn’t look carefully, I thought it was a rock.

When I came to the Western Film and Television City, it was a pity that I was just one step too late, the ticket sales were stopped, and only a photo was taken at the entrance.
