【Itinerary】

Guiyang, located in the southwestern border of China, is known as the "Pearl of the Plateau". The city was named "Guiyang" because it was located in the south of Guishan Mountain. In ancient times, Guiyang was rich in bamboo and famous for making musical instruments "Zhu", so it is called "Zhu" for short. As a typical area with karst landform development, its tourism resources are very rich.

It has karst natural landscape and cultural tourism resources characterized by "strange mountains, beautiful waters, beautiful rocks, and strange caves". There are not only the natural scenery of the plateau featuring mountains, water, forests and caves such as Hongfeng Lake and Kaiyang Canyon Ecological Park, but also cultural landscapes with rich cultural connotations such as Yangming Cave, Qingyan Ancient Town and the former site of Xifeng Concentration Camp. There are simple, rich and colorful ethnic minority customs, as well as a pleasant climate without extreme heat in summer and severe cold in winter.

【Guiyang food recommendation】

Guiyang is known as "Little Hong Kong in the Southwest". Its food and beverages are characterized by "fragrant and spicy", with heavy taste and oily taste. Its Guiyang cuisine is an important part of Guizhou cuisine, featuring "spicy and spicy", and its taste is close to Sichuan cuisine and Hunan cuisine. Among them, hemp is prepared from several spices, and spicy is mainly extracted from chili peppers.

In addition, the Miao people in Guizhou love to eat sour food. There is a saying that "don't eat sour food for three days, and eat skewers while walking". Fish in sour soup is one of the classics. There are also a wide variety of snacks here, such as Huaxi Wangji Beef Noodles, Changwang Noodles, Leijia Tofu Yuanzi, Silk Baby, Lotus Leaf Ciba, Guailu Rice, Roasted Stinky Tofu, etc. Having said so much, what do you want to eat when you arrive in Guiyang? It's almost the same after eating the following restaurants.

One: Qishi Guiyang Flavor (Nanguo Huajin Store)

Address: Floor B1, Nanguo Huajin Shopping Center, No. 130 Middle Zhonghua Road

Fourth: Lianghuanzhai (Miaochong Road, Nanming District)

Fifth: Roadside Malatang (Huguo Road Store)

Day1: Dali - Guiyang - Qishi Guiyang Flavor (Nanguo Huajin Store) - Jiaxiu Building

【Seven Food Guiyang Flavor (Nanguo Huajin Store)】

Everywhere I go, I like to taste local specialties, and Guiyang is no exception. After searching several times, I settled on Guiyang's Qishi, and tried Guiyang's local specialties.

The restaurant is dominated by black, which looks a little serious. The light inside emits a faint yellow, which looks very gentle and peaceful from the outside. The photos on the outer wall show Guiyang local specialties, and you can feel the strong local characteristics before entering.

When I walked into the store, I found that the lighting was not so dim, and the yellow wooden decoration with simple white glass looked very streamlined. The gray walls are covered with road signs, and the thick sofa has a classic taste. I found a relatively clean corner, looked at the menu and specifically found some local dishes in Guiyang to taste.

I have to say that the serving speed is still very fast, and the dishes are all served in a short while. I have eaten too many heavy dishes in the past few days, and I am looking for a change. So I tasted the most vegetarian melon and bean soup first, and took a sip of the soup, full of warmth. This soup has a slightly sweet taste and the fragrance of vegetables, which is very suitable for drinking in summer.

I heard that the Qishi Salt Vegetable Meat here is a must-have delicacy for the locals during the New Year. When I saw the fat slices of meat, I felt very greasy and dared not move my chopsticks. After taking a bite, my friend began to persuade me that this dish just looks fat, it is very delicious, if you don’t believe me, try it. I thought it would be a bit of a disadvantage not to try it, so I plucked up my courage and ate a little bit. The third-line meat captured by salt vegetables is really not greasy at all, and the taste is so smooth that you don't want to stop eating it.

Qishi crispy fish is the signature dish here, and it is a must-order dish for almost every tourist who comes here. Its skin and flesh are very crispy, and it is wrapped in spicy sauce to bring an extraordinary taste enjoyment.

Qishi Tofu Yuanzi left the deepest impression on me. This is the first time I have seen that tofu can be eaten like this. After frying, cut it in half and eat it with side dishes. The taste is delicate and smooth.

The fish-flavored eggplant clips fully develop the taste of the eggplant. The fried eggplant clips are salty and delicious, and the chewiness is relatively moderate. This dish still tastes like home, I always think of the eggplant that my mother made for me when I was a child, I really want to go home now.

Kung Pao Chicken is a slightly heavier dish. It is very refreshing to have a bite of Kung Pao Chicken as a condiment among so many dishes on the list.
Qi Shi Bu Kui is an authentic home-cooked dish in Guiyang. If you are not used to heavy flavors, come here!

【Jiaxiu Building】

There are too many natural beauties in Guiyang, which cover up the cultural landscape. Guiyang is a bit chilly at night, and we took to the streets with the cool breath, wanting to feel the night sky in the southwest. Walk casually along the Nanming River until you meet Jiaxiu Tower.

The Jiaxiu Tower on the Nanming River was built on the basis of a huge stone in the river. It was named Jiaxiu Tower after the meaning of "Kejia Tingxiu". Jiaxiu Tower is a three-story building with three eaves and four corners with a pointed roof. It is 22.9 meters high, with stone pillars supporting the eaves and surrounded by white carved stone railings. It is also one of the few cultural landscapes in Guiyang, adding a sense of history to Guiyang, which is rich in natural landscapes.

At night, the lights of Guiyang are lit up, the figures of Jiaxiu Tower are shaking at night, and the sky at night is so blue and melancholy. Looking at Jiaxiu Tower across the bank, the whole body is glowing with yellow light, and the three big characters of Jiaxiu Tower are also highlighted in the yellow light. Against the backdrop of the overall yellow light, the blue light on the roof is particularly dazzling. With the cooperation of the lights, Jiaxiu Tower seems to have become a dazzling star in the sky.

The base of Jiaxiu Tower is covered with greenery, and the Nanming River reflects the bright lights. The combination of classical and modern is just right. The high-rise buildings facing Jiaxiu Tower look glamorous under the blue night sky, and are a little more flashy than Jiaxiu Tower. Connected with Jiaxiu Tower is the Fuyu Bridge. According to legend, this bridge has nine holes and is called "Nine Eyes on the Shazhou". But it's a pity that I can only see seven holes. I heard that the two holes were buried when Linhe was building a road. I think it's really a pity.

Next to Jiaxiu Tower, there is a Ming Dynasty building "Cuiwei Garden" more than 560 years ago. This forest garden, which was built in the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty, was originally just a temple and garden. Because Wang Yangming wrote in the poem "Two Poems of Nan'an Ciyun": "The pine forest reflects the rain of thousands of peaks at night" and "The first collection of fisherman's net boat" was then rebuilt into "Cuiwei Garden".

It is said that there is an exhibition hall of calligraphy works of Kang Youwei's disciple Xiao Xian in the garden. She is a famous female calligrapher in China. Her handwriting is even more beautiful in the magnificent brushstrokes, but it is a pity that due to the rush of time, I admired the lights here at night but did not have time to go in to appreciate the interior. Almost all of Guiyang’s historical heritage lies in Jiaxiu Tower, and Jiaxiu Tower stands on top of a boulder like a giant pillar supporting the universe. If you want to experience Guiyang’s cultural heritage, Jiaxiu Tower is a must-see.

Day2: Qingyan Ancient Town-Silian Red Tangsi Doll (Nanguo Huajin Store)-Sixiang Season ((Nanguo Huajin Store)-Binhe Park-Lianghuanzhai (Miaochong Road Store)

【Qingyan Ancient Town】

I have stayed in Hangzhou for too long, and I am used to seeing the gentle and delicate towns in the south of the Yangtze River. I have felt too much sadness of "asking you how much you can be sad, just like a river of spring water flowing eastward." When I came to Qingyan Ancient Town in Guiyang, I felt Arrived in a different style. Not to mention the emotional charm, the thick and simple architectural style alone makes me feel equally bold.

A path paved with stone slabs leads to the ancient town in a winding way, and the monuments that appear from time to time on both sides make me feel the vicissitudes of the ancient city before I reach it. Approaching the gate of the ancient city, the sense of vicissitudes of the mottled city walls increases sharply.

The ancient city should walk slowly and savor carefully. I walked on the trails in the city and looked at the houses and buildings on both sides full of antique flavor. The ground of the ancient town after the rain is a little wet, which is more suitable for summer tours. This kind of weather has neither annoying high temperature nor sweat soaked clothes.

Walking on a small road, there are layers of stones on both sides of the road. The green grass stubbornly squeezed out from the cracks of the stones has been washed by the rain, and it is more green.

Temples can be seen everywhere here, and what surprised me the most is that there are two foreign churches besides Chinese temples. One is Qingyan Christian Church and the other is Catholic Church. Compared with the Catholic Church, the Christian Church is slightly taller, while the courtyard of the Catholic Church is more elegant. This is also a place where the rare oriental temples and western churches in China coexist harmoniously.

I thought the buildings here were just flat buildings, but when I walked on the city wall, I realized that the undulating buildings here are built according to the terrain. The green hills in the distance are lingering with immortality, coupled with the melodiousness of the ancient town, a landscape painting spreads quietly in front of you.

Looking down from the city wall, the low houses cannot block the roads in the ancient town. Thus, one can clearly see the white roads exposed in the gray roofs, and the green trees emerging from the gray roofs add tenderness and color to the monotonous and domineering stone buildings.

After the rain, the sky is blue and gentle, melting the green mountain peaks into my arms, I feel that the whole ancient town at this moment has an extra melancholic temperament. Although the temperament is very elegant, but it can't be full! For a foodie like me, there is nothing more satisfying than a braised pork knuckle. One sip leaves a fragrance on my lips and teeth, and I couldn’t help but bring one for supper when I left.

The ancient town in the green water and green mountains is not too commercialized, and it still looks like the ancient town I like. Just this ancient rhyme that has not dissipated is enough.

【Silian Red Tangsi Doll (Nanguo Huajin Store)】

When mentioning Guiyang’s snacks, the first thing that comes to mind is Silian Red Tangsi Doll, which is a specialty snack in Guiyang.

As a person who regards travel as shopping and eating, I will naturally not miss it. The cartoon images of its logo pepper and tomato look naughty and cute when they cuddle together. Black steel pipes are placed horizontally and vertically on the roof, integrating simplicity and practicality.

The red sour soup shredded doll here has a long-standing reputation. The thin dough is wrapped with various cold dishes (ps: there are more than a dozen kinds of side dishes alone), just like a child's baby. After the cold dishes are rolled, pour some red and sour soup, and then add the seasoning made by yourself. The hot and sour taste tastes very refreshing. Because this dish is very delicate, you won't feel too full if you eat too much.

In the midsummer season, there is nothing more powerful than iced drinks. A plate of rose brown sugar ice powder can not only dispel the summer heat, but also make me feel sweet. The melon seeds and black and white sesame seeds make my lips and teeth fragrant, and the smoothness of the ice cold powder makes me linger on for a long time.

Silianmi sauce potatoes are their specialty, and I had great expectations. The potatoes were cut into cubes and looked chunky, I don't know if that soaks the flavor into the cubes. Pick it up and taste it, the potatoes are covered with a layer of sweet taste, it tastes good, and it lived up to my expectations.

Almost all the food in this store can be related to sour soup, and even fried dough sticks can be made into sour soup fried dough sticks. For me in the north, deep-fried dough sticks have long been commonplace, but this is the first time I have seen sour soup. The freshly fried fritters dipped in sour soup has a unique taste and is very authentic.

Roasted brain flower is especially suitable for customers who like heavy taste, full of spicy taste. It didn't work for me, but I tried it anyway. The smooth and tender brain flower is still very refreshing with the domineering spicy taste, but it's a pity that I can't eat spicy food.

I think, the cake porridge with a faint rose fragrance; the soft and glutinous pan-fried brown sugar glutinous rice cake; the refreshing and spicy silk love sour soup rice and other delicacies are the reasons why this place is so attractive!

【Thinking Season ((Nanguo Huajin Store)】

If you want to eat Nanchang’s special snacks, you must go to Weifuji, if you go to Beijing to eat special snacks, you must go to Wangfujing Snack Street, and when you come to Guiyang, you must come to Sixiangji to taste authentic Guiyang special snacks.

I chose the Sixiangji Nanguo Huajin store nearby. Although the store is small, it has all the internal organs. The overall black design shows the serious attitude of the boss, and the bright lights illuminate the happy mood of the customers. The store is already full of people, and there are still a few people waiting.

While waiting for my meal to be served, I looked around boredly, and the menu on the wall caught my attention. I didn't expect such a famous place to be so cheap, not even a single serving of food cost more than 20 yuan.

When I was in Nanchang, I ate many noodles, but it was the first time I ate special noodles like sweet potato noodles. The powder tastes very chewy, and the zheer root tastes crisp, tender and refreshing. Coupled with the aroma of the marinade, it is simply a trip for the tip of the tongue.

The fried two pieces of cake is the "top brand" here, and every customer who enters the store will order it. Erkuaiba is very soft, glutinous and delicious, and the crispy zheergen and crispy whistle are wrapped inside. I didn't expect that these ingredients can collide with so many delicious foods.

I have to say that Guizhou people are really good at making rice milk. The processed roll skin is crystal clear and looks beautiful. After processing, the Silian fried roll skin is even more beautiful and delicious. It looks very good in color and tastes glutinous. I actually felt a gentle breath.

I still remember the taste of Changsha stinky tofu, and here I met Guiyang stinky tofu. On a whim, I wanted to compare the difference between the stinky tofu thousands of miles away, so I ordered a fried stinky tofu. Stinky tofu has always been stinky, fragrant in the mouth, and this place is no exception. It's just that the stinky tofu here is paired with the secret chili noodles, which is spicy, hot and refreshing.

The moderately sweet beef rolling, the sweet wine cake with a slight alcohol taste, the sweet and delicious bayberry soup that quenches thirst and so on are all fascinating delicacies. When you come to Guiyang to eat authentic special snacks, you still have to go to Sixiang Season.

【Binhe Park】
Every city has a park that carries the memory of history. Just like Beihai Park in Beijing and Cuihu Park in Kunming, Binhe Park in Guiyang is endowed with the function of carrying the memory of the people of Guiyang. Many tourists who come to Guiyang will come to Binhu Park to relax, stroll leisurely, and get close to nature.

I heard about Binhu Park long before I came to Guiyang, and I couldn't restrain my curiosity and wanted to find out here. Before arriving at the park, I saw a five-star red flag fluttering in the wind on the arched gate from a distance. When I walked to the gate, I was still a little surprised when I saw the arched door standing on the steps. Because the gray sky is used as the background, the arched door looks beautiful and gentle in contrast.

I was walking on the path in the park, watching the sky slowly turn into azure blue, matching the seasons that are most suitable for visiting Binhe Park throughout the year, everything complements each other. The Ferris wheel under the blue sky is waiting for those who are destined, and the green trees bring a modern atmosphere.
The quiet park path meanders on the surface, covered by green on both sides, and the artistic conception of "the winding path leads to a secluded place, and the meditation room is deep in flowers and trees." comes quietly. Taking the children on a small train, swaying slowly in the air, the rhythm of slow life accompanied by the happiness of parent-child time creates a wonderful picture.

Nanming Lake hugs Binhe Park like a jade belt. Leisurely old men and old ladies often take a walk around the lake, and innocent children play happily here. Sometimes you can see fishermen here, not because of the number of fish, but only for a leisurely state of mind.

The busy figures in the high-rise buildings around the park are in sharp contrast to the slow pace of life in the park, as if they are two worlds. One is fame and fortune, and the other is seeing Nanshan leisurely.

The benches in the park are the favorite places for the elderly and children, and they can take a rest here when they are tired from walking. Covered by green trees, the sun shines a little bit, and the summer sun also shows a gentle side. The old people in twos and threes chatted casually, and the child who was having fun didn't pay attention to the sun at all, and still played with himself.

As a young man, looking at such a leisurely life, I can't help but think of the People's Park in Chengdu. But what I think more is that when I get old, there should be such a park in the place where I live. Waking up early to practice Tai Chi, and taking a walk with my wife in the evening, how pleasant it is!

【Lianghuan Village (Miaochong Road Store)】

When you mention fish in sour soup, you will definitely think of Guizhou. But many people don't know where the fish in sour soup comes from? Here I would like to share with you that the fish in sour soup originated from Kaili, and is now very common in Guiyang. It has a long history and originated in Lianghuanzhai.

When you come to Guiyang, you will naturally choose to go to Lianghuan Village to experience it. From a distance, the appearance of Lianghuanzhai glows all over, and its architectural style is very unique. The tiles are shining with silver, and the decorations on the eaves are also very exquisite, which undoubtedly reveals the Miao and Dong architectural style in Southeast Guizhou.

Walking into Lianghuanzhai made my eyes shine even more. The entire interior decoration style is very natural, full of strong life flavor, so that I can intuitively feel the ethnic atmosphere here.

My first impression of the interior is that it is very festive. Not only the bright red wooden pillars, but also the closely connected red lanterns bring me a kind of New Year's joy.

The dishes are served one by one, accompanied by "mountains and flowing water". Gu Liang, a beautiful ethnic minority, came to persuade the wine with the unique enthusiasm here. My heart was already ready to move, so I took the initiative to join in. Still, it's a step behind. The companions took the lead, and saw a wine bowl placed directly to his mouth, and four mushrooms dressed in national costumes held the wine pots and placed them step by step, and kept sending wine into the bowl. Have fun!

The last thing you should miss when eating here is the fish in sour soup. After all, this is a delicacy from 1088 years ago. The fish meat in the sour soup fish is white, it tastes very fresh and tender, and the soup is also very fragrant, I really want to drink it all at once.

The color of the ant fried egg is very beautiful. There are a few ants lying on the golden fried egg, which looks like they are looking for food. Looking at food with such a good color, how can you stop chopsticks?

Dong-style lamb flatbreads and rice-flavored pork ribs are delicious foods worth trying here, especially the Miao-style rice tofu with ethnic flavors.

In this place with strong ethnic customs, graceful dances and moving folk songs are produced together with the delicious food, which are presented on the stage while drinking and eating meat, and stay in the long river of memory together with the happy time.

The strong ethnic customs and food here have always been the housekeeping treasures that attract many tourists. In the modern era of tourism, it has added countless cultural heritage to the beautiful natural landscape of the local area, and has become the object sought after by everyone.

Day3: Qianlingshan Park - Malatang on the side of the road (Huguo Road store) - return to Chengdu

【Qianling Mountain Park】

Is there a mountain that can let the soul escape into Buddhism; is there a piece of water that can make the body never be contaminated by dust after bathing? I think there will never be such an ideal place in this world. If you want to find a place closest to it, it should be Qianlingshan Park!

The weather in Guiyang is really suitable for sightseeing, especially Qianling Mountain Park. When I came to the park, I felt very comfortable looking at the green hills behind the gate of the park. Walking into the park, the dense forests and trees around bring bursts of shade, and it is hard to imagine that this season is still midsummer.

Walk along the "nine winding path" like a snake, and the "zigzag" bend makes this road worthy of its name. The green trees here are different from those in other places. I don't know why they look green and shiny, which gives people a refreshing feeling. For people like me who have broken our eyes in the reflective mirrors of high-rise buildings, looking at these green trees is very comfortable.

The Hongfu Temple built by the Chisong monk is still full of incense, and the antique buildings make it a rare and quiet place. Looking at the piles of ashes and the pilgrims around, one can imagine the devotion of good men and women, and feel the rich Buddhist culture here. For me who worships every god, of course this place will not fall here.

There is also a zoo here, which surprises me the most is the red panda. Climbing down from the tree upside down, his naive look looks very cute. I didn't see its face clearly until it was completely down. It is completely different from the giant panda in my impression, and its coat color looks shiny.

Qilin Cave is named for the stalactites resembling a unicorn, and the inside looks colorful under the illumination of lights. I feel very cool walking in it, much more comfortable than the air conditioner.

The monkeys on the mountain are very cute, but don't feed them at will! Because the monkeys here have attacked tourists more than 5,000 times, it is necessary to keep a safe distance of two meters.

The monkeys here are probably still wary of the arrival of people, and they stared at the tourists and the camera with their eyes wide open. Some monkeys are peeling peanuts by themselves, and enjoy a delicious meal after peeling.

The monkeys all over the ground seem to be interacting with tourists, and some courageous monkeys jumped directly on the girl's body, tearing as if they were looking for food. There are also some monkeys breastfeeding the baby monkeys, and the baby monkeys are obediently sucking milk in the arms of their mothers. They look so sweet that tourists can't help taking pictures.

The mountains and rivers here are cool; the environment here is quiet; the air here is fresh; everything here is just as I like.

【Ma La Tang (Huguo Road Branch)】

For me, a foodie, every encounter with food makes my heart beat. Of course, this encounter is artificial. I heard from a friend that the taste of Guiyang's curbside is very good. His introduction made the curbside all the flowers, and said that since the opening, there has never been a day without queuing.

Because I was afraid of queuing, I found a time that was not a meal. During this time period, without the scrambling of office workers, the place is considered clean.

Walking into the interior, I feel a bright feeling. The simple blue and white decoration makes the whole shop look very clean. The blue sky and white clouds here have turned into blue clouds during the day, so rest assured that there will be no sudden storm. There are many Hong Kong and Taiwan stars on the walls, which is very old-fashioned. Although this wall is just for decoration and not for scenery, people who come to the store can't help but take photos together, which shows how precious the good memories are in their hearts.

Before the bottom of the pot is served, the dipping materials have already been brought up, and the dipping materials can be divided into oil dishes and dry dishes. But everyone's preferences are different, you can choose according to your own taste. The dry dish is ground peanuts and bright red chili powder, and the oil dish is the hot red soup pot bottom on the dry dish.

After a while, all kinds of ingredients were ready, and I was moved before I started. The antimony pot for the hot pot base, the pot handle that was intentionally broken, and the specially made old enamel bowl and other cooking utensils all brought back good memories of my childhood. I remembered the lively scene of the family sitting around the pot eating, and I remembered the scene of myself watching the pot boil.

The classic dishes of Chuan Chuan are tender beef and small sausages, which are must-haves in almost every family. Anyway, this restaurant has a lot of varieties. For me, I chose a variety of meat, which is very delicious. In addition to skewers, there are also various maocai here. I recommend roadside tender beef, duck blood and so on.

The appearance of duck blood makes me very appetizing, and it tastes smooth and tender. The combination of enamel bowls and antimony pots evokes memories, and the harmonious coexistence of food and seasoning brings the taste of childhood.

The maojiao is very clean, the meat is fat and delicious, the brain flower on the side of the road is delicate and tender, and the thousand-layer belly tastes very crispy. What these delicacies have in common is that they are delicious and delicious, but they are a bit spicy.

I don't know what kind of magic this shop uses, but all kinds of delicacies fished out of the antimony pot are oily but not greasy. It is recommended to stagger the meal time, otherwise you will need to queue up.

【About traffic】

Guiyang, as an excellent tourist city, can be described as extending in all directions with very convenient transportation.

Airplane: You can fly to Guiyang Longdongbao Airport from all over the country. The airport is relatively close to the city center, only 10 kilometers away. The airport bus can reach the city in 20 minutes.

Train: Guiyang's currently operating railway stations mainly include Guiyang Station, Guiyang North Station, and Guiyang East Station, which are very convenient. However, from the direction of Chengdu and Kunming, it is recommended to choose Guiyang North Railway Station. In addition, there are as many as 20 bullet trains and high-speed trains from Chengdu to Guiyang, which take about 4 hours.

Self-driving:

It takes about 8 hours to travel more than 700 kilometers from Chengdu to Guiyang. If you like to drive by yourself, you can think about it more, but it is not necessary to go to Guiyang just to play, because the high-speed trains are very convenient nowadays.

Bus:

The city of Guiyang is not big, and there are many bus lines, covering most of the city. However, a warm reminder is that there are a lot of black car drivers in Guiyang, so you should pay special attention if you go there for the first time.
