1. Yuanyang Rice Terraces

Yuanyang Terraced Fields, located in the south of Ailao Mountain in Yuanyang County, Yunnan Province, is a masterpiece left by the Hani people for generations. Yuanyang Terraced Fields is the core area of ​​Honghe Hani Terraced Fields. The Honghe Hani Terraced Fields is a spectacle of terraced farming civilization jointly created by the people of various ethnic groups, mainly the Hani nationality, using the special geographical climate. It is grand in scale and magnificent.

The terraces cultivated by the Hani people in Yuanyang vary with the terrain of the mountains. Large fields are reclaimed on gentle slopes; As big as a dustpan, there are often tens of thousands of acres on one slope.

The Honghe Hani Terraced Fields are located in the south of Yunnan Province and spread across the four counties of Yuanyang, Honghe, Jinping, and Lvchun in Honghe Prefecture, with a total area of ​​about 1 million mu. Yuanyang County alone has 170,000 mu of terraced fields. The Yuanyang Rice Terraces are landscape and pastoral paintings that have been "sculpted" by the Hani people for more than 1,300 years. On June 22, 2013 (the Year of Guisi), the Honghe Hani Rice Terraces were successfully included in the World Heritage List at the 37th World Heritage Conference, becoming China's 45th World Heritage Site, making China surpass Spain as the second largest World Heritage country, only next to Italy.

2. Luoping Huahai

Luoping Flower Sea generally refers to the spectacular rapeseed flower field in Luoping County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province. The annual Rapeseed Blossom Tourism Festival in Luoping, Yunnan will make you feel the harmony between man and nature, and enjoy the picturesque scenery.

The core scenic spot is located in the Jinji Peak Cong in the northeast of the county. Climbing up to Jinji Peak, you can see the rapeseed field stretching as far as the eye can see, while the lone peak in the distance is uprooted, which only adds to the ups and downs and shock of the picture.

Luoping screw field is located in Niujie, ten kilometers northwest of Luoping County, Qujing, Yunnan, so it is also known as "Niujie" rapeseed. The terraces here are circular, looking like swirls on a screw from a distance.

3. Dongchuan Red Land

"Dongchuan Red Land" is located in the north-east direction of Kunming City, and it belongs to the Red Earth Town under the jurisdiction of Dongchuan District of Kunming City. It takes about 250 kilometers to drive from Kunming to the scenic spot center, and the main scenic spots are between 1800 and 2600 altitude. The area with a radius of nearly a hundred miles here is the most concentrated, typical and characteristic red soil on the Yunnan laterite plateau. Backed by the blue sky, white clouds and unpredictable light, it constitutes a spectacular view of the red land.

Yunnan is located in a warm and humid environment, and the iron in the soil is slowly deposited through oxidation, gradually forming dazzling colors.

From September to December every year, part of the red land is ready to be planted, and the other part of the red land has been planted with green highland barley or wheat and other crops. From a distance, it looks like a color patch painted by the sky, with gorgeous colors and blue sky. , white clouds and the unpredictable light beams constitute the spectacular scenery of the red land. Palettes live up to their reputation.


4. Lugu Lake

Lugu Lake is located at the junction of Yunnan Province and Sichuan Province, under the jurisdiction of both Sichuan and Yunnan.

The Lugu Lake scenic spot is surrounded by lofty mountains, and there is a snow accumulation period of more than three months a year. Rich in forest resources, beautiful mountains and clear waters, fresh air and charming scenery, Lugu Lake is regarded as the "Mother Lake" by the local Mosuo people. It is also known as "Penglai Wonderland".
