Travel route: Kunming - Maitreya - Mengzi - Yuanyang - Jianshui - Kunming
Travel traffic: self-driving
Attractions: Keyi Town, Jinping Mountain, Dongfengyun, Bisezhai, Hani Terraced Fields, Jianshui Ancient City, Zhujia Garden
Fee: 1500 yuan per person
Yunnan is an excellent self-driving paradise, and the magical and beautiful southeastern Yunnan is a beautiful self-driving route. Fuxian Lake, the largest deep-water freshwater lake in China, Jianshui, a famous historical and cultural city, Yuanyang Terraced Fields, a masterpiece of Hani people for generations, and the intoxicating Maitreya Hot Spring...History and culture have left a deep imprint on this land, The landscape and humanities complement each other, making the self-driving trip to find seclusion and fun extraordinarily pleasant.
During the golden autumn season, we planned this trip by accident. Due to time and season constraints, we only plan to take a small loop. This can be regarded as our first experience and attempt for the grand goal of "traveling all over Yunnan".
This 5 days and 4 nights self-driving tour of the small ring road is tight, and all the places are the best attractions in various places, and basically hit the essence of each attraction. The purpose of our travel is very simple, that is to go out for a walk at will, to relax the nerves that are tense due to work.
D1: Kunming - Maitreya (place: Maitreya)
Maitreya, the only small town with the same name as Buddha, is located in the southeast of Yunnan Province and is the northern gate of Honghe Prefecture. The traffic in the county extends in all directions, with good location and traffic advantages. Maitreya is an outstanding person, with the aura of heaven and earth, and the splendor of the sun and the moon.
The south of Kunming is about 120 kilometers away from Maitreya, and it takes less than 2 hours to drive. We set off at 9 o'clock in the morning. According to the geographical location, the first stop was the Keyi Town Scenic Area in Mile.
Keyi Town is located in Keyi Village, Xisan Town, Mitreya County. "Keyi" means "auspicious place" in Axi language. The town is hidden in the forest, and the air quality is very good. It is also a good place to learn about Yi culture.
Tickets for Keyi Town Scenic Area: 35 yuan/person, sightseeing car 20 yuan/person. Due to the epidemic and the off-season, there are very few tourists in the scenic spot. There are four scenic spots in this scenic spot: Mizhi Fairyland Acacia Bridge, Tiger Roaring Mountain Forest, Ancient Village and Keyi Yi Nationality Museum.
It is a pity that we did not catch up with the welcome ceremony at the gate of the village (9 am). The two folk song and dance performances in the afternoon were also not watched due to time constraints. However, the originality, pure ecology and lack of excessive commercialization of Keyi Town left us an excellent impression.
Walking into the scenic spot, the first scenic spot on the left is Mizhi Fairyland Acacia Bridge. There are signposts along the way, first take a wooden plank road, and there will be some mountain roads behind, the terrain is not high, and there are also some viewing pavilions for rest. The entire scenic spot can only be walked on foot, about 2 kilometers. When we visited this attraction, it was just the two of us the whole time.
(Mizhi Wonderland Plank Road)
(The sun shines among the leaves, the light and shadow are blurred)
(Acacia Bridge)
(Dangling on the bridge, friends who are afraid of heights should enter carefully)
Under the Acacia Bridge is Yuexin Valley. There is a resort hotel in the valley, and there are small attics one after another. They look very good! I fantasize about staying here for a few days if I have a chance in the future. The valley is cool and pleasant, and it is a good place to escape the heat.
At the exit of the Acacia Bridge scenic spot on the Mizhi Plank Road, you can take a sightseeing bus to the second scenic spot: Tiger Roaring Mountain Forest.
(Flying Magic Carpet)
This is the means of transportation to the top of the mountain: Flying Magic Carpet (tickets are already included, no need to buy tickets). Sitting on the top of the flying magic carpet, it is the landmark of Keyi - Tiger Roaring Mountain Forest. A huge stone tiger is condescending, roaring at the entire mountain forest in the distance, showing its domineering and domineering, I think it got its name because of it.
(mighty stone tiger)
There is a place to burn incense in front of Shihu, but we did not find a place to invite incense. Whether there is any money in the Suixi Gongde box is unknown. After the tour, take the flying magic carpet down, and wait for the sightseeing bus to take you to the third scenic spot: the ancient village.
Here we must praise the sightseeing car service in the scenic spot, and we did not deliberately delay the time and not carry passengers because of the small number of people (sometimes there are only two of us on the sightseeing car). And the waiting time for the sightseeing car at each scenic spot is very short, like it!
The houses in the ancient village are very distinctive. They are all earthy yellow walls with some colorful pictures painted on them. There are scenes of labor and joy of celebration. This place should be rich in corn, so almost every household hangs the joy of this harvest!
(Murals and flowers everywhere)
There is a canteen called "Sen Sanli" in the ancient village. The decoration is fashionable and fresh, which is in sharp contrast with the ancient village. The dishes are fresh and the prices are reasonable. Later we found out that there are Yishe, bars, etc. in Sensanli, which are a series of services. Friends who have time and money can experience it.
(Just look at the appearance of the dishes and tableware, is it worth 100 yuan?)
The ancient village retains its original simplicity without too many commercial things, which makes us feel very comfortable. Feel free to walk in the ancient village, blue sky, white clouds, breeze, very comfortable!
In the ancient village, there is also the Ah Xi Tiaoyue Biography Museum and the Cultural and Creative Market. "Axi Jumping to the Moon" is the most artistic and national folk dance representative of the Axi people of the Yi nationality, and is a classic of Chinese folk dances of ethnic minorities. "Axi Jumping to the Moon" is called "Gasibi" in the Axi language of the Yi nationality, which means "happy jump".
Behind the ancient village is the Keyi Yi Nationality Museum, which contains the texts, pictures and items of the Yi people. You can learn more about it. There are two folk song and dance performances at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. .
On the same line as the Keyi Town Scenic Area, there is another scenic spot of Maitreya - Jinping Mountain Scenic Area.
Jinping Mountain Scenic Area is the most famous Buddhist resort in southeast Yunnan. The Maitreya Buddha with an inscription written by Mr. Nan Huaijin was completed in December 1999. It is 1999 cm high and is the largest laughing Buddha in the world. Jinping Mountain presents the majesty of a large jungle, supports the height of the 1999-centimeter Buddha, and extends the length of 1999 steps. .
Since we are not Buddhists, and we really don't have the courage to climb the 1999 steps, we chose to take a drone tour.
(If you come to the foot of the Buddha in person, it should be very shocking)
We stayed at the hotel that night: Maitreya Green Baolezhi Hot Spring Hotel. Due to the impact of the off-season and the epidemic, the room rate was very cheap at 150 yuan/night. Almost all hotels in Maitreya have their own hot springs (Mitreya is also known as the hometown of hot springs), so be sure to bring your swimsuit in advance. Here, what we really enjoy is the VVVVIP treatment, and the two of them will monopolize a big bubble pool (because there are no other tourists at all).
We chose "Old Maitreya (Lijing Store)" for dinner. It is said to be an old Maitreya store. It is opposite the court in the middle section of Wenquan Road. There are snacks, barbecue, and stir-fried dishes. It may be an old restaurant brand, but it has no special features. We feel that it is very ordinary.
After dinner, we took a casual walk, but inadvertently walked to another place where Maitreya’s Internet celebrity checks in-Honghe Water Town.
The planning of the Honghe Water Town is grand, and the central core water area is subdivided into the architectural styles of the six major factions of the water town. Relying on the five elements of water, streets, bridges, shores, and green islands, the Jiangnan water town landscape of "little bridges and flowing water" is formed. A model of integration of culture and tourism, industry and city.
(It happened to be a total lunar eclipse that night)
D2: Maitreya - Mengzi (place: Mengzi)
After eating the hotel's buffet breakfast, we went straight to Dongfengyun, the most popular scenic spot in Maitreya after checking out. Dongfengyun is south of Mile City, so according to our itinerary plan, there is no turning back. Navigation is really a good thing, it is convenient to go anywhere, along the beautiful "Grape Sightseeing Avenue", you will directly arrive at the gate of the scenic spot.
Dongfengyun Scenic Area was built in 2014. The entire scenic area covers various industries such as ecological agriculture, art culture, leisure and health care, including Lavender Manor (Lavender Theme Park and Lavender Service Exhibition Center), Wine Manor, Artist Manor, Rose Manor, Lily Manor Manors, forest parks, lakeside wetlands, quiet valleys, agricultural and sideline tourism product processing bases, etc., are a national AAAA-level modern agricultural tourism complex integrating high-end leisure and health resorts.
Considering our physical problems, we did not hesitate to buy a two-way sightseeing car, tickets + sightseeing car: 75 yuan / person. When I was doing a guide on the Internet, the high scores of this scenic spot gave me very high expectations, but the result was a big disappointment.
(kaleidoscope)
(Chop Shop)
(Lavender field)
(Colorful Flower Field)
The first thing to complain about is the sightseeing bus in the scenic spot. The bus stop is next to the gate, and it runs every half an hour. After waiting for more than 10 minutes, the sightseeing car finally started and drove towards the scenic spot. However, it didn’t stop when passing by various scenic spots, and it was pulled directly to the farthest place, which is also the place where Internet celebrities check in and take pictures—kaleidoscope. The driver didn't say a word the whole time, let alone explain. The most amazing thing is that after we visited this scenic spot, we couldn't wait for the sightseeing car to pick us up. We called the service center of the scenic spot to complain, and it took more than half an hour to wait for one. I asked and said that I only sent it and didn't care about picking it up. The reason was that there was a reception task that day. I would like to ask, is my two-way ticket bought for nothing? In the end, in order not to miss the attractions introduced in the guide, we had to walk back by ourselves. Here is a special reminder to friends who want to go for a trip, never buy a sightseeing ticket, because you can stop and take pictures at each scenic spot by walking along the way.
Secondly, the scenic spot has such selling points as "fairy-tale-like art town" and "moving with your heart without even drafting red brick buildings", but the inexplicable piles of red bricks, the so-called kaleidoscope, seal workshop, etc., are just to see Buildings that look like decorations, and ordinary people without high artistic attainments, I think they should not be able to appreciate them. It really makes people think that the 60 yuan ticket is not worth it. The "Colorful Flower Field" with no flowers or even a little barren, the "Lavender Flower Field" without the feeling of a sea of flowers at all, the waterscape that has dried up without a drop of water, and the indescribable service of the scenic spot completely wiped out our original interest. I don't even bother to experience wine estates, artist estates and other estates in depth.
Finally, what makes us most incredible is that the entire scenic area actually restricts the use of drones!
If it wasn't for flying in with a drone on the side of the road after leaving the scenic spot and taking a picture of the entire Dongfengyun, we really think this scenic spot is too deceitful!
After visiting Dongfengyun Scenic Area, we drove directly to Mengzi, with a journey of about 140 kilometers and about 2 hours.
Arrive at 'Mengzihong Hotel' in the evening. The hotel is near Nanhu Park, and the location and transportation are very convenient. The most convenient thing about off-season travel is that you can book hotels on the day of your itinerary. Hotels are cheap and have many choices.
When I was doing the guide, I arranged dinner in the rice noodle town, but I was told that the rice noodle town was closed at night. Thinking that I just heard from the hotel front desk that the free breakfast the next day was rice noodles, so we chose other food that night.
After all, Mengzi is the capital of Honghe Prefecture, so it is much more prosperous than Maitreya. At night, there is a lot of traffic, so it is very lively. When we were looking for dinner, we gave up on several restaurants because we couldn't find a suitable parking space. In addition, the road around Nanhu Park is one-way, so we had to go around Nanhu twice that night to find something to eat. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that friends go out for food, and never drive by yourself!
Finally, I found this 'Yaxin Garden·Halal' restaurant on the Internet. My husband who had a good drink thought that there was no alcohol in the Halal restaurant. He never thought that they not only sell alcohol, but also barbecue. This gave my husband a big surprise. !
This table group was originally a three-person meal, and an additional 20 skewers of barbecue and a bottle of 2 taels of gin wine were purchased. We were all wiped out by us who did not eat lunch. Even the little girl from the waiter was amazed by the two of us. appetite.
A special reminder here is that the next door to this restaurant is the "Wuji Liuxiang Chrysanthemum Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles" recommended by the front desk of the hotel. Due to our limited time schedule, it is a pity that we did not go to taste it.
After dinner, I drove to the "Mengzi Crossing Bridge Rice Noodle Town". Sure enough, there were no businesses in operation. It's just the dim lights at night and the rehearsal of a song and dance by a certain club that makes this rice noodle town worthwhile.
D3: Mengzi-Yuanyang (Location: Yuanyang)
The most comfortable thing in Yunnan is that every day when you wake up, you will wake up to a sunny day, and the occasional white clouds in the blue sky are always fascinating, which is very different from the climate in Chengdu, Sichuan.
The hotel's free breakfast - rice noodles, really amazed us, and we couldn't help but sigh: it is indeed the birthplace of Guoqiao rice noodles!
(This soup bowl is comparable to a washbasin, even the big belly of Maitreya Buddha can't drink it)
After breakfast, I accidentally found that the tire was flat. After inspection, I found that a nail had been driven into it somewhere yesterday. Fortunately, there is an auto repair shop in the alley next to the hotel, and the tire repair fee is a flat price of 30 yuan.
After packing up our luggage and checking out of the hotel, we went directly to Bisezhai, a famous scenic spot in Mengzi.
Bisezhai is located in the center of the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway. This quiet small mountain village built on the mountainside was once a prosperous place where merchants gathered. The red tiles and yellow walls of Bisezhai in the setting sun glow with a warm and harmonious color. , making people seem to have traveled to another time and space. Bisezhai Station is one of the earliest railway stations in the modern history of China. It has infiltrated the blood and sweat of many Chinese laborers and witnessed a period of history. The station still retains the French-style railway building, the weather-beaten clock hanging on the station wall, and the English words Paris (Paris) are still clearly visible, reminiscent of the prosperity of the year. This is also the filming location of the movie "Youth".
The scenic spot is free of tickets, the parking lot charges 10 yuan/time, and the round-trip sightseeing car is 20 yuan/person. The weather was fine, we wanted to go on foot, so we didn't take a sightseeing bus, and the distance on one side was just 2 kilometers.
The scenic spot is not big, and many people rent military uniforms and cheongsams to take pictures. The rails and platforms are very suitable for taking pictures, and it is easy to make a big movie. We met some tourists here, but not too many, and we can avoid taking pictures.
There are shops and restaurants in Bisezhai Scenic Area, but most of the food is rice noodles. We only ate it when we thought of breakfast, so we didn't have lunch here. There happened to be dry food and fruit in the car, and we wanted to go to Yuanyang to watch the sunset on the terraced fields as soon as possible, so we drove there directly after the tour.
The navigation shows that from Bisezhai Scenic Area to Yuanyang Terraced Fields Scenic Area, the journey is about 160 kilometers and takes 3 hours. The reason for the time-consuming is that after getting off the expressway at the 'Gejiu South' station, the national road has been winding up the mountain road, rising from an altitude of more than 200 meters to more than 1900 meters, about 90 kilometers.
The terraced fields reclaimed by the Hani people in Yuanyang vary with the terrain of the mountain and adapt to local conditions. Large fields are reclaimed on gentle slopes, and small fields are reclaimed on steep slopes. Yuanyang Terraced Fields is the core area of Honghe Hani Terraced Fields. The best months for the scenery of Yuanyang Terraced Fields are from November to April of the following year. During this period of time, the terraced fields are filled with water, and the layers of terraced fields are rippling with silver waves, and the shooting effect is the best.
Yuanyang Terraced Fields is a large area, including four scenic spots: Bada, Duoyishu, Laohuzui, and Qingkou Folk Village. Among them, Bada and Laohuzui are the best places to watch the sunset, and Duoyishu is the best place to watch the sunrise. best location.
There are two types of scenic spot tickets found on the Internet: one-day ticket (100 yuan) per ticket and multi-day pass (180 yuan per ticket), and the prices are not cheap. Since we contacted the innkeeper in advance to see if the terraces would be filled with water, we were still hesitating whether to stay for one night, so we considered not buying tickets for the time being.
It was less than 5 pm when we arrived at the inn. Seeing the layers of terraced fields had already moved our hearts, so we booked a room without hesitation. The boss is a gentle little girl who enthusiastically introduced us to places to watch the sunrise and sunset.
Because the landslide in the Laohuzui Scenic Spot has not been repaired so far, we went to the Dawazha scenic spot about 6 kilometers away from the inn. This is a free viewing platform recommended by the boss for sunset.
The terraced fields under the setting sun have a strong three-dimensional sense, a strong sense of color layering, colorful, and are as beautiful as an oil painting.
After sunset, the temperature in the mountains dropped sharply, and with the perfunctory lunch in the car, we suddenly felt hungry, cold and hungry. Since it is the off-season, we stayed at the Duoyishu Terrace Yunshang Xiaoyuan Inn, and we were the only tourists. The beautiful boss said that there was no meal (fortunately, there is a free rice noodle breakfast), so he recommended us to go to the "Hani Huotang".
Hani Huotang should be the largest restaurant in Duoyishu Scenic Area. There are cooking, barbecue, hot pot, soup pot, and many choices of dishes. The dinner for the two of us, two dishes and one soup is 112 yuan, especially the 'Lemongrass Fried Pork Ribs', which is very delicious! By the way, I would like to remind my friends that each dish in Yunnan restaurants has ample portions, so you must order according to your own food intake to avoid waste!
The Yunshang Xiaoyuan Inn we stayed in has a lot of rooms with a view. Of course, the price is not cheap. In this off-season, it costs 200+ yuan/night. It is the most expensive one we stayed in during this trip. Because of the limited time, we only stayed for one night. The so-called viewing was just a photoshoot, and we didn't have much time to spend in a daze in the inn.
(The viewing platform of the inn)
There is also a platform on the roof of the inn, where you can see the stars and the moon at night. Think about how romantic it is to count the stars with your beloved! But you must keep warm. Yunnan has a large temperature difference between morning and evening, so you can wear thin down jackets in the morning and evening, and you can even wear short-sleeved jackets at noon during the day.
Considering that the beautiful boss saved us tickets for the scenic spot this time, we 'forgive' her high room rate (I met another couple of elderly travelers on the way, and the inn they stayed in was within walking distance of the Duoyishu Sunrise Viewing Spot A few minutes, the price of a standard room with the same view is only 150 yuan/night).
D4: Yuanyang - Jianshui (House: Jianshui)
At 6:30 in the morning, we got up early and drove to another free viewing platform 1 km ahead of the Duoyishu Sunrise Viewing Spot according to the recommendation of the beautiful boss. There are no long guns and short guns mentioned on the Internet, the entire viewing platform is just the two of us, and the sunrise we photographed is not only in an excellent location, but also beautiful (thanks to the good weather and good character, hehe...)!
Breakfast: rice noodles + white water eggs, although very simple, the taste is acceptable, but it is better than going out to find it yourself. After checking out the room, we drove to the nearby Ai Village between 9 and 10 am to watch the famous blue terraced fields.
Among the screens of Yuanyang's blockbuster photography, Duoyishu is the most seen place. In the early morning of Duoyishu, mist filled the sky above the terraced fields, and the houses and woods in the distance were a little hazy, and there was an indescribable celestial spirit all around.
I thought that the drone would take pictures of the spectacular blue terraces, but it turned out that when the drone took off to shoot, the angle of refraction of the light was wrong, so it couldn't take pictures. The formation of the blue terraces is a combination of the clear water in the fields, the angle of the terraces, and the blue sky. In the large area of terraced fields with scattered heights and meticulous lines, the blue water, the golden field ridges, and the Hani village in the distance form a magical picture!
Although it is not the best viewing period for the Hani Terraces, the terraces have already presented a colorful picture, which is worthy of the title of "the palette overturned by God".
(Hani terraces under the lens of drone)
Walking to the terraced fields, I was pleasantly surprised to find that red duckweed has grown in some terraced fields, which is also the reason for the formation of red terraced fields. Generally, it is only in December that you can see the red terraced fields.
Throughout the year, Yuanyang Hani Terraces are beautiful. The Hani people are used to planting rice seedlings in June every year, so Yuanyang in summer is full of lush green rice waves. In October, with the harvest of the crops, the mountains and fields turn golden yellow, but the most beautiful season to see the terraced fields is always winter, because the terraced fields will shine silvery white after water injection, thus highlighting the graceful and winding outline of the terraced fields.
Azheke is one of the key villages protected by the Honghe Hani Terraced Fields World Heritage Site. It is a well-preserved original Hani village. There are 51 traditional mushroom houses listed for protection in the village. The mushroom house is divided into three floors. The lower floor houses livestock, the middle houses people, and the upper floor is used as a warehouse. The roof is covered with neatly woven thatch. It looks like a mushroom from a distance, so it is called "mushroom house". The movie "Wuwen Xidong" was filmed here. Tickets: 30 yuan.
(Azheke's Mushroom House)
According to the viewing map of Hani Terraced Fields in Yuanyang, I always feel a little regretful in my heart if I don’t go to several other viewing spots since I have already arrived. So we did not turn back according to the advice of the beautiful boss, and went forward again. We passed Bada, Qingkou Folk Village and other scenic spots, and we happened to go to Nansha Town for lunch.
(The picture comes from the Internet)
It cannot be said that this is a bad decision, because if you want to take the expressway from Nansha Town to Jianshui, you have to detour to Gejiu South Station where we got off the expressway yesterday. If you go directly from Nansha to Jianshui, you have to take the provincial road, which is about 80 kilometers. In order to save costs, we chose the latter. Unexpectedly, there was a traffic accident on the road, and the traffic jam lasted for more than an hour. It was already 4:30 pm when we arrived in Jianshui.
(Nameplate of Harney Township)

Jianshui, known as Lin'an in ancient times, has been an important town in southern Yunnan since ancient times. It was built as early as the Tang Dynasty, Confucianism rose in the Yuan Dynasty, and the Ming and Qing dynasties flourished in writing and business. After hundreds of years of cultural infiltration, it has left a rich heritage and has a unique The ancient houses, ancient wells and ancient bridges in the old city can still appreciate the style of "Zoulu in southern Yunnan" in the past when you walk in the old city. Like other ancient cities, Jianshui also has four gates. However, the south, north, and west towers of the ancient city were all destroyed by the war. Although they were restored, they were damaged again. Only the Chaoyang Tower at the east gate, which has survived many wars and earthquakes, still stands tall for nearly 600 years.
This time we chose to live in the inn in the ancient city - Jianshui Yirui Chunqiu Inn. The standard room is particularly large with 40 square meters. It follows the ancient style design of the ancient city and is very distinctive. After checking in, the boss kindly gave us a small map of the ancient city, marking the locations and distances of various attractions, and on the back there were recommended restaurants for three meals and their specialties.
Putting down my luggage, I thought that I hadn’t done a nucleic acid test that day (we will do nucleic acid tests every time we go on this trip, and most of them will be stopped when we get off the expressway before arriving at the destination, because we didn’t take the expressway from Nansha to Jianshui this time. , so it didn’t work), and immediately went to the nearby nucleic acid testing point.
I especially like the stone-paved roads in the ancient city. When I was doing nucleic acid, I also stopped by the Lin'an Government Office and the Xuezheng Examination Shed.
There are many street archways in the ancient city, which has a strong sense of history.
Walking and walking, we came to the most famous landmark in Jianshui - Chaoyang Tower.
Chaoyang Tower was first built in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. It is said to be 28 years earlier than Tiananmen Square. It is a symbol of the old important town on the border of the motherland. Although the scale of the building is not comparable to Tiananmen, the overall shape is the same as Tiananmen, so it has the title of "Little Tiananmen". The tower is three stories high, with triple eaves. The wooden screen doors on the tower are exquisitely carved and the figures are vivid.
(On the back of Chaoyang Tower, there are four characters of "Feixia Liuyun" with great momentum)
In the evening, the purple swallows under the eaves return to their nests, flying around the building, and the sound of bells and wind chimes is like a melodious melody of nature. The "Jianshuizhou Chronicle" in the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty praised it so much: "The Dongcheng Tower (Chaoyang Tower) is a hundred feet high, with the sky piercing into the sky, overlooking the city below, thousands of fireworks, endless scenery, the rising sun, and the brilliance far away. Ying, looking at the city tower in the distance, it looks like a yellow crane, like Yueyang, which is really a grand view in Nanzhong."
For dinner, we chose Jianshui's specialties - steam pot chicken and Jianshui grass sprouts in Lin'an Hotel, which are very delicious! The beef jerky is slightly salty, so friends with bad teeth should be careful.
After dinner, we wandered casually in the square in front of Chaoyang Building. There are many people dancing in the square, and there is a food street on the right side of the city tower, where there are many kinds of snacks, barbecues, bars, etc., and there is an endless stream. It turns out that Jianshui's nightlife is here.
(Jianshui Xiaogui Lake)
At 8:30 in the evening, there is a large-screen projection on the Chaoyang Building, telling people the long history of Jianshui in the ancient city. Sitting under the tower, blowing the evening breeze, eating snacks, and admiring the night scenery of the ancient city, I haven't felt such a relaxed and comfortable feeling for a long time.
D5: Jianshui - Kunming
The inn in the ancient city is the only one without breakfast on this trip, and the breakfast in Lin'an Hotel is quite satisfactory. The ancient city is very small, and many scenic spots can be reached on foot. The Zhujia Garden is definitely the highlight of Jianshui.
The Zhujia Garden is a house and ancestral hall built by the local prominent family in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, the brothers Zhu Weiqing, a local gentry in the late Qing Dynasty. It is located in Hanlin Street, Jianshui County. The main building is divided into two parts, the residence and the ancestral hall, in a layout of "four vertically and three horizontally", which is a typical side-by-side combination of houses in Jianshui. The spatial landscape is rich in layers and endlessly changing, like a "maze". There is a Huaiyuan Hall in the southeast corner of the garden. In the hall, there is an "Exhibition of Materials on the Zhu Family's Centennial Rise and Fall", which shows the fate of the Zhu Family Garden with various text and pictures.
The entire compound covers an area of about 20,000 square meters, with a total of 42 patios and 214 houses. The courtyards of old houses and the details of carved beams and painted buildings will inspire the spirits of ancient architecture fans. What's more special, the round arches that write the family motto of "follow the rules, be careful in words and deeds", four small courtyards with plum, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemums, the doors and windows of poetry and paintings that condense the owner's elegant taste, and the exquisitely carved ancient stage are the essence of the old house. place.
Tickets for Zhu's Garden: 35 yuan. For this kind of historic ancient building, according to our old habits (like ancient buildings, don't want to go sightseeing), a guide is invited for 50 yuan, and the whole journey takes about 40 minutes.
After visiting Zhu's Garden, it's almost time for dinner. According to the recommendation of the inn, we chose the nearest restaurant - Qiweixuan. 'Jianshui fish' is cooked with unique local spices, which is more distinctive. My husband also tasted the Jianshui baked tofu that he has been thinking about.
After lunch, I asked the boss for the direction of the inn, only to find that the place to eat is at the back of the inn, and I saw it when I looked up. Go back to the inn to pack your luggage, check out and drive to the next scenic spot: Shuanglong Bridge.
The Shuanglong Bridge was built in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. It is commonly known as the Seventeen-Arch Bridge. There are three pavilions on the bridge. It is simple and beautiful. The long bridge spans two rivers. The long reflection in the water looks like a painting.
After swimming the Shuanglong Bridge, we took the road back to Kunming and ended the journey. It is about 170 kilometers from Jianshui to Kunming, and it takes 2.5 hours to drive.
In fact, there are still many places worth visiting in Jianshui Ancient City, such as Jianshui Confucian Temple, Tuanshan Residential Houses, Xianghuiqiao Station, etc. It is also a good thing to find an ancient well in the old city and encounter the ordinary life here. .
(Note: Jianshui is a place full of wells. Since the Yuan Dynasty, digging wells and drawing water has become a part of the local people’s life. Various wells have also become a unique landscape in the ancient city. Single-eyed, twin-eyed, triple-eyed, There are four eyes, round and square, so people say that Jianshui is a "Museum of Ancient Wells".)
The time of this trip is relatively tight, and it can only be regarded as a light trip for every city and scenic spot, but it is very suitable for friends who don’t have much time, want to check in more scenic spots, and drive easily. The entire itinerary, including all expenses, is less than 3,000 yuan, which should belong to the popular consumption level. Make a strategy in advance, plan the itinerary, leave enough time for browsing each scenic spot, and explore the local delicacies. Do you like this leisure, economical and easy way of travel?
