July 31st, cloudy to light rain
9:00am, the train took us to Dali (Xiaguan),
Dali usually refers to the ancient city of Dali, which is 20 kilometers away from Xiaguan City.
Take the No. 8 bus at the entrance of the railway station, 1 hour's drive, the terminal station is the east gate of the ancient city,
We got off at the intersection of Caicun, changed to No. 2 bus and arrived at Caicun Wharf.
I chose Erhai Lake for my 3-day stay in Dali.
Cai Village is the seaside village closest to the ancient city.
This sea view inn has a resounding slogan: "I rely on Erhai Lake!"

Dali Ancient Town
In the afternoon, go to Dali Ancient City. Caicun is 5 kilometers away from the ancient city, 20 yuan by taxi.
The first thing I did when I came to the ancient city, Donggua did what a young literary and artistic youth must do—weaving colorful braids!

The second thing in the ancient city is to eat my favorite rose roasted milk fan,
The slightly sour milk fan is wrapped with rose sauce, which is super delicious when baked, and it costs 5 yuan each.

The ancient city of Dali has a history of more than 1,200 years, and the center of the ancient city is Wuhua Building.
Looking down during the peak season, everyone is everyone in Dali.
Going further, it is the most lively south gate of the ancient city, on which there is "Dali" written by Guo Moruo.
Caicun Wharf
On August 1, cloudy turned to light rain. At the entrance of the inn is Caicun Wetland Park.
I especially like these stones in the Erhai Lake. They are the places I must visit every time I come to Dali.
These stones will present different scenery with seasonal water changes, and there will be new harvests every time.
This year the boats in the Erhai Lake are banned,

West Huanhai Road
Playing in Caicun all morning, after lunch, take the car to the hotel in Xizhou to put luggage,
Then I rented a small electric donkey, Donggua drove me to take pictures, and started cycling around the sea!
Erhai Lake is not a sea, but the best scenery in Dali is by the sea,
A circle around the Erhai Lake is 125KM in total, Xizhou-Caicun round trip is 40KM,
Stop and go along West Huanhai Road, no matter where you stop, it is very beautiful.
Dali's weather changes faster than me.
Although the weather is not strong, there is no blue sky and white clouds,
There is still light rain from time to time, but the temperature is just right,
The Erhai Lake under the dark clouds also has a unique charm.

Xizhou
The groom who drives the carriage and pulls the guests,

PS: Xizhou Ancient Town requires a 60 yuan ticket to enter from the main entrance, and you can go around for a few hundred meters on the Dali Line for free.
We live in an inn 10 minutes drive from Xizhou Ancient Town,
Although a little remote, the scenery and environment are very good.
The owner is an art collector, and the entire layout of the hotel is artistic.

Lijiang
A must for a visit here, the big waterwheel at the north gate of the ancient city,
It is the first thing that everyone will see when they come to Lijiang Ancient Town.

The Dongba wishing wind chimes next to the big waterwheel are hung in a dazzling array,
Carrying the desire of everyone's heart.
Sifang Street is a small square in the center of the ancient city.
It is also the busiest place in the ancient city.
I like the ancient city at 7 o'clock in the morning, it is not so commercialized and looks much quieter and simple,
The wet bluestone road is surrounded by mountains and clouds in the distance.
However, apart from getting up to catch the car, I fell asleep in the leisurely morning time.
The ancient city is quaint, with small bridges and flowing water running through it

I haven't watched "The Wind and Cloud of Mufu", but I know Mufu
It is the palace of the chieftain of the Mu family, who was ruled by the Naxi people of the Tudi Emperor.
It was burned during the Cultural Revolution, this one was rebuilt later, so I didn't go in
Dongba hieroglyphs, the sacred ancient totem of the Naxi people,
The ancient city and Dongba culture add a bit of quaint mystery.
Lashihai
Lashihai is about ten kilometers away from Lijiang. It is a wetland natural landscape located on the ancient tea-horse road.

Waiting on the road closest to the inn, a small car will pick you up,
After half an hour's drive, we arrived at the racecourse on the Lashihai Ancient Tea Horse Road.

But maybe because of the bad weather, there is no scenery on the road at all,
