Depart from Kunming by car in the early morning and arrive at Mojiang at noon. After entering the city, go to the restaurant Hani's family in Twin Town for lunch. The local specialties include beef steak and so on, but there are too many people to eat, so I ordered stir-fried lamb and a few wild vegetables.
After dinner, go to Mojiang Tropic of Cancer Sign Park, a few hundred meters away from the restaurant. The pure humanistic landscape, borrowing the Tropic of Cancer to build gardens against mountains, can be considered to have its own characteristics. At that time, the park was being renovated, and some roads were difficult to pass.
There are two wells under this sculpture, which are called "twin wells". It is said that twins will be born after drinking the water in the well. If you need it, you may wish to try it here, haha.
In the evening, stay at Mojiang Lantingyuan Hotel. The hotel facilities are very new, clean, hygienic, and considerate service, especially the breakfast variety, and Mojiang's famous purple rice eight-treasure rice.
The next day, after breakfast, drive on the expressway, pass through Ning'er County, and arrive at Jinggu Mangkaxi Kangyunshe Health Hotel at noon, and soak in salt water hot springs in the hotel for two days. This process has been described in another travel note published before, so I won't repeat it here.
On the fourth day, I went to Shuangjiang County after lunch. The road sections I passed were all provincial roads and rural roads, and the roads were narrow. When crossing the Lancang River, there is a checkpoint at the head of the bridge, and then uphill to the top of the slope, there is a viewing platform on the side of the road. You must stop to watch the beautiful scenery of the Lancang River flowing under the steep valley.
Although it is still cold in winter in other places, it is already full of spring here, and golden rapeseed flowers are blooming in the terraces along the road.
Arrive at Shuangjiang County, the origin of one of the most valuable Pu'er teas, Iceland tea, at about 5:00 p.m., and stay at the Platinum Hotel on the side of the old town. For dinner, eat stinky tofu boiled fish made by ethnic minorities. To be honest, the taste is not my favorite.
Because it is the place where Pu'er tea is produced, there are so many tea business shops on the street. As long as you stop at the door of the shop for a while, the shop owner will warmly greet you to go in and drink tea. It really makes you feel the kindness and enthusiasm of people in ethnic minority areas. .
On the fourth day, go to the Najing Dai Village introduced by the locals in the morning, and then arrive at Shuangjiang Yunding Nest Tea Manor Hotel at noon.
Shuangjiang Najing Dai Village
Najing Dai Village is a rural tourism development project in Shuangjiang County. The hotel's travel brochure has a special introduction, and the front desk staff of the hotel also recommend it. It is located in the same direction as going out of Shuangjiang County to the Tea Manor Hotel, except that one goes out of the city to the left and the other to the right, and both are not far from the county. It was not in our plan for this trip, so it was considered a drop by.
There are obvious signs at the intersection of the provincial road entering Najing Village. The road is very narrow and only allows one car to pass. There are sugar cane fields on both sides of the road, and there are only passing lanes in the slightly wider terrain. There is a special parking lot for tourists at the head of the village, but when we went there were few tourists, so the car can be driven directly into the village. Park your car and just wander around.
The stockade is very clean, there are flowers planted on the roadside, and there are flower stands at the door of every house, which are filled with various potted flowers. There are tables and stools in the small courtyard at the door, which seem to be able to receive tourists. Seeing that one of the family was slaughtering pigs, I went over to ask if I could eat, but the owner responded that he did not sell food, but was preparing to treat guests, and warmly invited me to be a guest at their home, which made me deeply feel the simplicity and enthusiasm of the Dai people again .
There are not many villagers in the Dai Village, and the land area is not large. There is a small river beside the village with clear water. The vegetation on both sides is dense. There are trails along the river for tourists to walk. There is a Burmese temple on the higher ground, which has been dilapidated. There is a small square in the village, where the symbol of Najing Village - the king of banyan trees grows. The surrounding area is full of ethnic gardens, fountains and small stages. This is a place for villagers' activities and gatherings, as well as a place for tourists to gather. Many villagers set up stalls here to sell food and fruits to serve tourists. The two of us ate the Dai meal "Sapao" with shredded beef jerky, which was very cheap, only 12 yuan.
Although it is a Dai village, there is no traditional bamboo house of the Dai people. While regretting, we also saw the great changes in the living and living conditions of the ethnic minorities in the frontier.
Shuangjiang Yunding Nest Tea Manor Hotel
The hotel is about 13 kilometers away from Shuangjiang County. Although the road to the hotel is very good and there are not many vehicles, it has big bends and steep slopes. As the so-called "eighteen bends of the mountain road", you should be very careful when driving. At the entrance to the tea garden at the top of the mountain, the hotel needs to call the doorman to confirm that it is a hotel guest before being released.
The tea garden is a valley surrounded by three sides, the east side is the valley mouth, the other three sides are mountains, the gate and the hotel are at one end of the valley mouth. To enter the gate of the tea garden, you have to detour along the road in the park for almost 270 degrees in the valley to reach the hotel.
From the check-in process at the front desk, you can experience the well-trained service provided by the waiters and the hotel grade: leading the guests, delivering mineral water, helping the guests pack their clothes, and turning the bed down one by one.
There are not many guest rooms in the hotel. They sit in a row facing east and west along the small courtyard. When entering the room, they find that the area is quite large. The decoration materials are mainly wood, which looks simple and luxurious. The place where the sofa and coffee table are placed is a platform. The tea table is equipped with tea and tea sets, which fully reflects the characteristics of the tea manor hotel. The tea leaves are three varieties produced by the tea house.
Each guest room has a balcony, facing the cliff, sitting on it, condescendingly tasting tea and watching the mountain scenery, just like climbing a high place and looking far away, drinking wine in the wind.
Sip a cup of tea, and after a short rest, stroll around the hotel courtyard and tea garden.
The hotel has complete facilities. In addition to the lobby, tea room, restaurant, and guest rooms, there are also swimming pools and various functional rooms, and there are also some houses that are not hotel rooms. All the buildings embody the strong Dai architectural style, and they are all built on the only small flat land on the top of the mountain. There is a large garden in the middle, planted with various tropical trees, flowers and plants, and the doors of all the houses around are facing the courtyard. One circle, below (to the east) the balconies of the guest rooms and special premises is the cliff. There is a tea processing factory at the entrance of the hotel.
The tea garden is a valley in the shape of a "concave" with an opening on the east and hillsides on the other three sides. There are terraces on the hillside, full of tea trees and a few coffee trees. In addition to the road around the mountain into the hotel, there is also a several-kilometer-long pedestrian plank road built around the tea garden. Walking on it, looking around, you can have a panoramic view of the green tea garden.
The tea garden is planted with ecological tea. There are chickens looking for food under the tea trees, and colorful sticky insect boards are inserted in the crown of the trees.
In this paradise with fresh air and quiet environment, you will never forget to return. When the sun goes down, I don't think about returning until the mountain moon returns with people.
The hotel is independent from the top of the mountain, and there are no villages and towns around. Three meals a day can only be settled in the hotel, of course, the price is higher. If you want to save a little, you can prepare some pastries and convenience foods in advance.
The next day I wanted to take pictures of the sea of clouds and the sunrise. I got up at the first dawn, but there was no sea of clouds, but I managed to capture a beautiful sunrise.
In the morning, I wandered around the tea mountain for a few hours, and then went down the mountain to the next planned scenic spot - Wengding Ancient Village in Cangyuan County.
