On the morning of September 20, 2020, the reporter and his party left the Dalongjing Pusu Biancheng Inn where they stayed, and drove to the first stop in Tengchong to pay their respects at the West Yunnan War Memorial Hall located at the foot of Laifeng Mountain in the southwest of Tengchong. On July 7, 1945, during the Second World War, the people of Tengchong built a martyr's cemetery to commemorate the 20th Group Army of the Chinese Expeditionary Army who died in the anti-Japanese war and the people who died.
It is mainly composed of gates, corridors, martyrs' shrines, martyrs' tombs, memorial halls, and memorial towers. Among them, the memorial hall is divided into five parts: the broken mountains and rivers, the tragic expedition, the years of the enemy, the sword sweeping the beacon smoke, and the sun and the moon. Through a large number of old photos, documentaries, historical facts, oil paintings, comic strips and a series of cultural relics in the museum, it truly records the tragic war that took place in Tengchong against the Japanese invaders.
The reporter and his party first paid homage to the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall in West Yunnan, which is located indoors, and then walked along the corridor to the National War Cemetery. We visited the Shrine of Martyrs and the Memorial Tower one after another. Go up along the stone steps to the second step retaining wall embedded with the inscribed stone of "Green Blood and Thousand Years" in Jiang Zhongzheng's Li Gengen's book.
The collection of historical pictures of the surrender of the Japanese invaders
On the eaves and under the eaves of the Temple of the Martyrs, a plaque inscribed by Chiang Kai-shek "Heyue Heroes" is hung; on the main entrance of the ancestral hall, a plaque of "The Shrine of the Martyrs" written by Yu Youren, a veteran of the Kuomintang and a great calligrapher, is hung. The inscriptions of the generals of the division; on both sides of the corridor, there are inscriptions such as "Proclamation of the Military Commission of the National Government" and "Summary of the Tengchong Battle" protecting the National Cemetery. On the front of the temple is the statue of Sun Yat-sen and his will, and the walls on both sides are inscribed by the fallen soldiers, with a total of 9,618 people.
The memorial tower is built on the top of the slope. On the slope are green pines and cypresses, green grass and yellow flowers, accompanied by 3,168 neatly arranged and erect steles. Each stele is engraved with the name, place of origin, military rank, and position of a martyr who died in the siege that year. To the west of the cemetery, the Daying River rushes wildly, and the huge roar of the Dishui Waterfall responds to the sobbing of the pine waves in the cemetery; on the Longguang Terrace opposite to each other.
The four characters "Sword Sweeping Wind and Smoke" written by Deng Zilong, a general of the Ming Dynasty, can be vaguely seen; Fengling Qinggang is on the east side of it, and the towering Wenbi Tower corresponds to the Memorial Tower; It is sunny; looking far north, the cage is facing the clouds, and the auspicious auspiciousness is shining; the famous Stilwell Highway-the "main artery of the War of Resistance" that the brave men have defended with their lives, winds past it. In front of the slope is the Memorial Hall of the Anti Japanese Heroes. In the hall, there are inscriptions on the "Prime Minister's Will" and the motto "The world is for the public".
The Anti-Japanese War in Yunnan and Burma was an important part of the World Anti-Fascist War. It was the battlefield where the Chinese Expeditionary Force, the Chinese Army Garrisoned in India and the US and British allies annihilated the Japanese invaders. It was the first time in modern history that the Chinese people drove the invaders out of the country. Battle of the country. Paying homage to the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall in West Yunnan made the reporter revisit a period of Chinese people's indomitable history of the Anti-Japanese War.
Leaving the West Yunnan Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall to continue the second stop of the third day of the Tengchong Tour, the famous Dieshuihe Waterfall Scenic Area is not far away by car. The Dieshuihe Waterfall, known as the only urban waterfall in China, is a natural landscape that Tengchong is proud of. The Dieshui River Waterfall system originates from the Daying River in the northeast of Tengchong County. It belongs to the Irrawaddy River system.
Entering the Dieshui River Scenic Area, you can hear the huge roar of the water not far away. Walking along the sound of the water, you will first pass a fairy temple, and then walk along the waterside road to a stone bridge. Under the bridge, the water of the Daying River flows through here, falling from a high rock of more than 30 meters, the sound is thunderous, and the water splashes in all directions, forming a magnificent landscape of "the flowers scatter without bows and bullets".
When I came to the stone bridge, I saw the torrent rushing under the bridge, breaking through the green cliffs, wearing white clothes, like the Milky Way pouring down, snow spraying clouds and flying, and the wadding was scattered; the jade rinse was flying, and the valley echoed, which could be heard hundreds of steps away; The water vapor is transpiring, and the sun shines, often showing colorful rainbows; the bead foam splashes in all directions, like drizzle, flying around, all year round. Local people often use "dragon cave curtains" and "long rains" to summarize its characteristics.
On the west bank of the Dieshui River, there is a temple on the top of the peak, named Longguangming, which is the middle peak of the three peaks. Go up from the middle peak at the front of Taiji Bridge, pass the power station to the mountain gate. On the front of the gate is the inscription "Longguangtai" by Li Yuanhong, President of the Beiyang warlord government, in regular script and with little knowledge. On the back is the three characters "Longguangtai" in seal script written by the famous calligrapher Wu Changshuo, which is simple and elegant, and is a masterpiece in the book.
After passing the mountain gate, the stone path has three turns to the waterfall viewing platform. The platform is semicircular, with a stone railing in front, a huge pine cover in the middle, and a stone table and bench under it for a rest. Poets, poets and literati in the past dynasties often leaned on the fence to watch the waterfall, drink wine and compose poems, and left a lot of poems and songs. After passing the viewing waterfall platform, you come to the main temple, which is a Chinese-style courtyard. There are 12 stone carvings embedded in the walls of the corridors on both sides, all of which are poems about Longguangtai.
Xu Xiake, a great traveler in the Ming Dynasty, also visited here. According to the data, on April 16, Chongzhen Jimao (1639), Xu Xiake wrote in his travel notes: "The water falls from the left gorge through the sky; the cliff is more than ten deep. Zhang, surrounded by walls on three sides.
There are three schools of water flying: the middle is five feet wide; the left parallel cliff is four feet wide; the right embedded cliff is five feet wide. The middle of the cover is like a curtain, the left is like a cloth, and the right is like a pillar, which is extremely majestic. "From the West Cliff around the South Cliff, standing on the same level, the droplets roll upside down, and the shavings of jade fly away, and sprinkle people's clothes in the distance. It is like rain and snow in the daytime." "It can be seen that the magnificence of the Tengchong Dieshuihe Waterfall is extraordinary.
At noon, Xiao Huang drove us to the Tengchong Dadi Chahai Camping Base on the side of Tuofeng Airport for lunch. The scenery here is pleasant. The restaurant is a hut hidden in a thousand acres of tea sea. Mr. Dai Jun, the owner of the base, made us deeply feel the caravan culture while dining.
Built in early 2019, the Dadi Chahai Campsite is a comprehensive tourism project integrating education and research, unit and team building, party building, special catering, field camping, forest aerobic hiking, and scenic spot development. It is based in Yujiaying, Linked with Zhongzhai, Dazhai, and Lichaiba in Qingshui Township for common development, it strives to build a 4A-level tea culture experience town scenic spot and a demonstration base for Tengchong's "rural pastoral complex".
The delicacies such as caravan barbecue, hump beef cake, tea mountain yellow stewed chicken, and caravan glutinous rice roasted tea after the meal are very impressive. In particular, the restaurant in the shape of a thatched cottage in a thousand-acre tea garden reminded the reporter of Zhuge Liang's thatched cottage, which is like an idyllic scene...
After lunch, in the tea room of the restaurant of the Chahai camping base, the reporter and his party sat around a kettle on an iron tripod that was blackened by the charcoal fire. Listening to Dai Junjiang's legendary history of the caravan culture: During the tea harvest season in Gaoligong Mountain, when busy, there will be a strong and intoxicating tea fragrance from the main room of the Feng clan. We are tasting the taste of "Fengjia Leixiang Tea" now.
Leixiang tea is actually caravan tea, which is named "Leixiang" because of its production process. When the host is entertaining guests, he takes out the best Pu'er tea, puts the tea in a clay pot, adds glutinous rice during the roasting process, and roasts it on a charcoal fire. The faster the shaking, the purpose is not to burn the tea leaves, but to roast them thoroughly.
Afterwards, boiled hot local spring water was poured into the pottery pot. At this time, thunder bursts sounded in the pottery pot, like spring thunder rolling. Suddenly, the fragrance of tea filled the courtyard. Look at the tea soup, the color is red, taste once, the tea taste is strong and fragrant, the slightly bitter is full of burnt aroma, and after a few seconds, it returns to sweetness. The eloquence is fragrant and wonderful.
Tasting the aroma of the tea roasted by the caravan, reminiscing about the sound of rolling thunder, this sound implies happiness and well-being, the prosperity of domestic animals, and expresses awe of nature and good expectations for the coming year. At this time, listening to Dai Jun talk about the witty caravan roasted tea culture is really enjoyable. In a trance, the old and new times intersect each other, making people inadvertently feel the vicissitudes and aftertaste in the depths of the years.
After bidding farewell to Dai Jun's Dadi Tea Sea Base, the third stop of the reporter's day trip to Tengchong came to the Simola Wa village in Zhongzhai. It was the place where Chairman Xi visited not long ago, so it became famous and attracted a lot of tourist groups who came to Tengchong. It was very lively.
Zhongzhai is located in Sanjia Village, Qingshui Township, Tengchong City, Yunnan Province. Simola means "happy place" in the Wa language. This place is a village inhabited by the Wa people with a history of more than 500 years, an original ecological ancient village with a well-preserved national culture. On the afternoon of January 19, 2020, President Xi came to Simola Wa village. In addition to inspecting the local poverty alleviation situation, he also experienced Wa folk customs such as beating rice cakes and beating wooden drums.
In recent years, the "happiness" of Wa villagers in Zhongzhai has been continuously improved. The local area strives to create a tourist village with Wa cultural characteristics, integrating production and villages, helping villagers get rid of poverty and becoming rich; building beautiful villages, hardening roads, ensuring drinking water, and beautifying the village appearance, the lives of villagers have been greatly improved. On the big banyan tree square at the head of Zhongzhai village, people are singing and dancing, and there is a happy and peaceful scene everywhere.
Tengchong Atami was the last stop of the reporter for the day. This is a famous geothermal scenic area in China. There are 64 geothermal active areas in the whole area, more than 80 hot springs, and the highest water temperature reaches 96.3 ℃. Among them, the one with the strongest heat and the most wonderful external display is Tengchong Rehai, which is inlaid about 8 kilometers west of the city.
Yunnan is rich in geothermal resources, accounting for a quarter of the known hot springs in the country, and Tengchong is the most concentrated. Tengchong is one of the three major geothermal areas in my country. There are more than 80 hot springs and boiling springs all over the place, among which Atami is the most representative. It is the second largest hot field in China.
Rehai Scenic Area is composed of Rehai Stone, Big Rolling Pot, Bathing Valley, Pregnancy Well, Pearl Spring, Beauty Pool, etc. The highest water temperature reaches 102 degrees, making it the best place for geothermal recuperation in China. Rehai Scenic Area is centered on Cucumber Qing, Zaotang River, and Sulfur Pond. There are many gas springs and hot springs, the most spectacular of which is the Big Rolling Pot.
The reporter and his party took a sightseeing car and walked into the scenic area. They saw hot air and water mist rising in the air. Standing on a high place overlooking the bottom, they were scattered in basin-like depressions throughout the scenic area, gurgling like boiling water. The blisters are gushing. Such a spectacle is truly breathtaking.
Tengchong Rehai covers an area of about 9 square kilometers. There are more than 80 large gas springs and hot spring groups, of which 10 hot spring groups have water temperatures above 90°C, and hot springs can be seen everywhere. There are many places with hot springs in the world, but it is rare to have such a large area and so many springs as Tengchong Rehai.
Taking a photo in front of the Hot Sea Boiling Pot
The most typical landscape in Atami is the "big rolling pot". It has a diameter of more than 3 meters, a water depth of 1.5 meters, and a water temperature of 96.6°C. It boils day and night and steams in four seasons. In the Zaotang River, there is a geological fault zone and a big river intersecting to form a roaring waterfall. There are more than a dozen hot springs and steam springs gushing out day and night. Now there are many sanatoriums, bathrooms, and some entertainment facilities in Atami, and there are many tourists and healers coming here every day.
There is also a beautiful myth and legend about Atami: In ancient times, the weather in this area was cold and the people suffered unspeakably. A kind old man went through hardships and found ways to make this place a warm and fertile place. . Later, his sincerity touched the gods, and the gods gave him a precious pearl to hold in his mouth. He felt so hot that he drank several rivers in one go, and finally he turned into a little dragon spitting hot water. Wherever he has rested his feet, there are countless hot springs. Since then, it has been warm in all seasons, the cattle and sheep are fat, and the grains are plentiful.
From the perspective of geological structure, Tengchong is located in the world-famous Alps-Himalayan structural belt, on the junction line of the sharp convergence of the Indian plate and the Eurasian plate. The special structure makes the underground fault magma activity in this area very intense. The geothermal hot springs release helium and methane gas, which shows that the underground magma activity has not stopped, and there is a continuous source of volcanic supply. This phenomenon is a dormant volcano. typical sign. Therefore, the geothermal spectacle in Tengchong is the result of the heat flow from the center of the stratum rising to the surface and erupting along the crustal fracture.
Tengchong Rehai not only has a unique landscape, but also is very beneficial to people's life. Surrounded by green hills and turbulent water, it starts from Sulfur Pond in the north, Songshan Qing in the south, Zhongxiao Temple in the east, and Banana Garden in the west. After arriving at a certain location, people wandered along the hills. The high-temperature geothermal water gushing out and the accompanying pungent sulfur smell reminded the reporter of the intermittent geothermal fountain seen in the Maori Cultural Village in Rotorua, New Zealand. scene……
Although the reporter did not soak in a hot spring in Tengchong Rehai, after the day's sightseeing trip, Xiao Huang drove us to Tengchong Bailian Hot Spring Village. On the way, he passed by the Heshun Ancient Town, which was about to go, and just took a picture of the distant view. rural beauty. It's very pleasant to soak in the hot spring here after a tiring day. At the same time, I also swam for a while. Unfortunately, the swimming pool here is too small to use, and the water temperature is relatively low. Relatively speaking, the hot spring is really refreshing.
It is one of the reporters' hobbies to taste the local specialty snacks wherever they go. In the evening, the reporter came alone to a snack bar in a street opposite Zhongzhou Yihe Hotel where he stayed, and tasted the local fried bait. A bit like fried slices in Beijing. But it is made of rice noodles, and the taste is not bad. A bowl of soup is also served with the staple food. I thought the soup was shredded radish. When I asked the shop owner, it was a kind of Fushou melon. The little boss also enthusiastically took out three melons for me to see, which is very interesting. The itinerary of the third day of the Tengchong tour made the reporter and his party feel that it was another very fulfilling day. (Photo: Feng Ganyong)
