Ruili, a border city close to Myanmar, was not originally planned. When I saw the map, it was not far from Tengchong, so I decided to take a look. This is the benefit of self-driving tour, and you can adjust the itinerary at any time according to the actual situation. The weather is so good today, big white clouds are floating in the sky, once again passing the Longjiang Bridge, China Super Engineering, was shocked by its majestic momentum.

From the intersection of Wanding Expressway, along the 320 National Highway westward for about 5 kilometers is the "Lonely Tree Forms a Forest" scenic spot.

On the left hand side of the gate of the scenic spot, there is a wonder of the world - a horizontally long tree, because the longer it grows, the heavier it is, and the lower part is supported by tree stumps.

Continuing to walk into the scenic area, you can see a towering tree from a distance, with bearded and curly branches, and there are no less than a hundred roots hanging down to the ground. The single tree forms a forest, which is very spectacular.

It is an ancient banyan tree more than 900 years old. Because the trunk of the mother plant grows to the surroundings, aerial roots grow from the branches, and the aerial roots grow into thick trunks after entering the soil, and then develop further, forming this banyan forest. , becoming a breathtaking spectacle of a forest full of trees.

The trunk of the big banyan tree is thick, and it takes many people to spread their arms to encircle it. The branches are luxuriant, the crown is like a giant umbrella, and the canopy is like a shade. After countless aerial roots hang down to the ground, they grow into a thick trunk and connect with the mother tree.

In the 1950s and 1960s, Yang Fei, a military lyricist, wrote the song "There Is a Beautiful Place" here. This popular song has been widely sung by people until now. The song is determined to be the city song.

The unique tree forms a wonderful forest, which has been favored by many film and television playwrights, poets and film artists. From the earliest films "Menglongsha", "Bianzhai Peak Fire", "Peacock Princess" and "Under the Moonlight" filmed in Ruili County, Dehong Prefecture In more than 30 film and television films such as "Fengwei Bamboo" to "Journey to the West", you can see the figure of a single tree forming a forest.

Banyan tree, commonly known as Daqing tree, is called "Tunhong" in Dai language. In ancient times, the Dai people used the lush forests and giant trees beside the village as their community. So far, there are sacred trees in every village and area, and a small house is built under it as a symbol. Flowers, paper flags, water bowls, incense sticks and other things are placed on the altar in the house.

In addition to the forest of single trees in the scenic area, there are also many Buddha statues, fortune trees, and a few peacocks for tourists to watch.

The Lone Tree Forest Scenic Spot is not big, and it took half an hour to visit, but because it is located next to the national highway, many tourists who drive by themselves will still stop to take a look.

Ruili Jiegao Port, located at the junction of Yunnan and Myanmar, is the port with the largest flow of traffic among the border ports between China and Myanmar. The national gate of Ruili Port is a must-see point. The opposite is Muse City, Myanmar. The national gate is divided into three magnificent buildings, built along the border. The middle is the main national gate, the right is the cargo passage, and the left is the personnel passage.

Near the port, there are people who dress up as Burmese girls and take photos with tourists. Of course, there is a fee.

The border trade at the port is prosperous, and there are several duty-free shops where tourists can buy imported goods according to the regulations. The world's first-line big brands have lower discounts here, attracting an endless stream of tourists to shop here every year.

Jiegao is the end point of National Highway 320. It starts from Shanghai and ends here, with a total distance of more than 3,600 kilometers. Known as "The End of the World", it is closely connected with Muse Town in Myanmar. It is the largest border trade port in Yunnan Province, and about 50% of Yunnan's border trade materials enter and exit from here.

Walking into the nearby alleys, most of the shops are written in Burmese. Most of them are shops selling jade, jade, mahogany and handicrafts, which are relatively deserted.

Ruili has two special products, one is wood and the other is stone, and the "stone" is jade.

Jiegao Jade City is also a must-visit point for tourists to Jiegao. It mainly sells jade wool and tree jade. Every day from 8:00 am to 10:00 am is the busiest time in Yucheng. People gather here to buy and sell jade wool. Jewelry engravers often come here to "scoop" wool at this time, and then take it back to resell or carve.

Located in the China-Myanmar border area of Ruili City, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, the "Two Countries in One Village" attracts tourists from all over the world for sightseeing every year. It is a typical geographical wonder of "Two Countries in One Village". The national border divides a Dai village into two. The Chinese side is called Yinjing, and the Burmese side is called Mangxiu.

As soon as I entered the gate of the scenic spot, a large area of dragon fruit was planted, and the harvested fruit brought people joy and peace.

The Ruili section of the China-Myanmar border is tortuous and criss-crossed. A small ditch or a field ridge is the border between the two countries.

In "One House, Two Countries", you can enjoy the ancient Burmese-style all-bamboo and wood buildings, and even the roof is made of the almost lost "bamboo tile" craft. It is a masterpiece of Burmese architectural style!

Isn't it a strange feeling to sit down and drink a cup of tea from the two countries?

There is also a bridge spanning the two countries, and a bridge paved with emeralds, spanning the two countries of China and Myanmar. The bridge deck is inlaid with 7,777 pieces of Burmese emeralds. It can be called the richest jade bridge in the world.

The villagers drink from the same well, walk the same road, drive the same street, intermarry and visit each other, and have the same ethnic group and similar customs. It is a rare cultural and geographical landscape in the world.

The border in the village is bounded by bamboo fences, village roads, ditches, and ridges. There is a swing in the village, and you can cross the border between China and Myanmar when you sit on the swing. The back and forth between China and Myanmar can be described as very interesting.

There is a well with a long history and clear well water, connecting the "Paukphaw" friendship between the people of China and Myanmar. In front of the wells in the two countries of Yizhai, there are two stone buckets for filtering well water. The stone buckets are carved with ripples and there is a faucet sticking out from the bottom, implying to protect the water source from pollution. The words "China" and "Myanmar" are engraved on the stone barrels respectively.

There are many temples that have been built in the scenic area of Yizhai and Two Kingdoms, all of which are resplendent and magnificent, surrounded by phoenix trees. In particular, "one tower blesses two countries" is even more meaningful....

According to reports, this pagoda is a miniature version of the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Myanmar. In the breeze, the golden bell on the top of the tower will make a clear wind chime. Although it is soft and slow, it reaches between the sky and the earth, and it protects the people of the two countries and lives endlessly....

Walking through "One Pagoda Blessing Two Countries", what catches our eyes is a group of magnificent buildings, filled with strong Southeast Asian religious color and architectural features, I believe that the future will attract much attention....

Although I did not go abroad to Myanmar, I can also feel the exotic customs of Myanmar everywhere in the "One Village, Two Countries" scenic spot.

In Yinjing Village, I saw a long-necked woman wearing a neck ring. The Budao nationality originally lived in the mountainous area at the border between Thailand and Myanmar. There are less than 200 people in existence. This ethnic group also has a name known all over the world-the long-necked tribe. In order to escape the war, they scattered around, some went to the Mae Hong Son refugee camp in northern Thailand, while the other went to the villages on the border between China and Myanmar.

Although they left their hometowns, the women of the Budao ethnic group insisted on retaining their national identity. Budao women have strange decorations. There are as many as ten copper collars on their necks, and more than twenty of them, weighing about twenty catties. The neck under the copper ring is absolutely forbidden to long-necked girls, and even the husband has never seen it. But this is not a kind of natural beauty, it needs to be continuously put on heavy copper rings, and the neck is artificially stretched. It is said that once the copper ring is put on, it cannot be removed for life. If it is removed, their necks will be brittle and even broken due to lack of support.

In their lifetime, they only took off the copper ring three times, namely when they got married, gave birth to children, and died. Some people may be curious, what do long-necked people do when they take a bath? In fact, when taking a bath, the long-necked man can only stuff the straw into the copper ring and scrub like a saw, which is very painful.
It is estimated that there are no more than 40 long-necked women wearing neck rings in the world, and some of them live in Yinjing Village.

But the current custom, with the changes of the times, the long-necked people rely on this feature to attract curious tourists from all over the world to visit, and tourists can also accept it as a matter of course. In order to maintain their basic livelihood, they performed for tourists and took photos with tourists, which became their main source of income. Taking off these copper rings not only means abandoning the habits left by the ancestors, but also means losing economic income and unable to survive.

There is also a song and dance two countries, which is a performance where visitors can enjoy the dances of the Dai people in China, as well as the performances of the top pot and long neck people in Myanmar. In short, in this village, we can fully experience the cultures of China and Myanmar.
