Alashankou Port is located in Bole City, 73 kilometers away from Bole City, opposite to Almaty State of Kazakhstan. Alashankou Port is the largest land port in Northwest my country and an important gateway for my country's westward development. On September 12, 1990, the new Asia-Europe Bridge was completed.

Alashankou Port is the border port between China and Kazakhstan. It is in the Bortala Mongolia Autonomous Prefecture and is the bridgehead in the west of the Chinese section of the second Eurasian Continental Bridge. In 2013, the cargo volume at Alashankou Port reached 29.829 million tons [1]. It includes railway ports, road ports, and crude oil pipeline transportation. It is a national first-class port.
