The museum collects the equipment used in the early reclamation of Alishan, such as the skidder model in the early development stage, the planning model of the Alishan Forest Recreation Area, the early cross-cut saws produced by the United States, Britain, and Japan, etc.

There is also a miniature "Wu Feng Temple" in the museum, and many exquisite models of houses, assembly halls, warehouses, etc. are built next to it, and many daily necessities are displayed, such as bows, guns, pipes, spring rice wooden pestles, and harmonicas …wait, there are even old telephones from the olden days.

The museum also exhibits specimens and ecological backgrounds of alpine animals such as wild goats, wild boars, sambars, clouded leopards, and lynx in Taiwan, as well as infusion specimens of various birds, snakes, and amphibians. Other specimens such as butterflies, insects, alpine rats, bat spokes, and wax leaf specimens of various alpine plants in Alishan are also abundant. In addition, there are also complete specimens, models, and diagrams of Alishan's geology, soil, and tree species.
