Sunrise is one of the five wonders of Alishan. The steaming mountain mist drifts away in the morning light, dyeing an endless sea of clouds; the graceful sunrise rising from the darkness on the top of the mountain attracts tourists from all over the world. Since many tourists come here every day, there are even more people who come to Zhushan to watch the sun during holidays. In view of this, the local forestry bureau built four observation decks, 1 large and 3 small, for everyone to enjoy the sunrise. Compared with the original viewing platform, the environment is quieter and the view is much better.

This is the place to watch the sunrise in Alishan. Due to the high terrain and wide field of view, the effect of watching the sunrise is excellent. Now there is a large platform built at Zhushan Temple, which is just a short walk from Zhushan Railway Station. There are some shops around the platform selling souvenirs and food.
