The rocks in the Alsophila protected area are red sandstone exposed in the Jurassic period. The valleys in the area are in the south subtropical landscape, some south subtropical plants, such as spinosa, wild plantain, calla lily, Fujian Guanyin lotus, and south subtropical animals, such as red-headed cuckoo, fork-tailed sunbird, muskrat, yellow-bellied weasel, Weasel badgers, echidnas, etc. grow and inhabit here. So experts call it a "South Asian enclave". It is very rare for people to enjoy the south subtropical landscape here. The mountains in the area are high and steep, the valleys are deep, and the vertical difference is large. After the rain, the stream pours down from the top of the mountain. There are silver waterfalls all over the mountain, which is called "the district of thousands of waterfalls", and its scenery is intoxicating. The forests are lush and beautiful, the peaks are strange and beautiful, the water is clear and colorful, the valleys are quiet and quiet, the flowers and trees are fragrant, the singing of birds and cicadas are in harmony, the exotic flowers and plants, and the birds and animals are fascinating. Alsophila spinulosa is an ancient descendant fern that co-existed with dinosaurs in the Jurassic era 180 million years ago. It is now mostly extinct on the earth, and only a few survived because of the "refuge". Its habitat is ancient In the past, there are about 60,000 spinosa plants in the area, and the outside world calls this place the "Kingdom of spinosa". Therefore, the National Tourism Administration has established an authentic "China Jurassic Ecological Park" here, where people can return to nature, get back to basics, cultivate their sentiments, and increase their knowledge.
