The Altar of Worshiping Generals is also known as the Platform of Worshiping Generals. It consists of two earthen platforms, the north and the south, on the south side of Nanhuan Middle Road. The platform is more than 3 meters high and covers an area of 7840 square meters. According to legend, it was built when Liu Bang was stationed in Hantai to worship Han Xin as the general of Han Dynasty and held a grand seal awarding ceremony. It is a proof that Liu Bang used talents to win the world.

The altar of worshiping generals is located outside the south gate of Hanzhong City, about 200 meters southwest of the ancient Hantai. It is built by two rammed earth platforms separated from the north and the south. The two towers are more than three meters high each.

A tall stone tablet stands on the west side of the South Terrace. On the front, there are eight big characters "Han General Han Xin Worships the Altar of Generals", and on the back there is a poem: "Being loyal to the lonesome, the Weiyang palace, the moon and the sword are bright and cold. Where is the career of Emperor Peigong today?" , less than the Altar of Generals in Huaiyin. A stele about 2 meters high is erected in the east, which is inscribed by the calligrapher Shu Tong on the altar of worship. On the back of the stele is engraved a dialogue between Han Xin on the altar and Liu Bang, which is excerpted from Sima Qian's "Historical Records Huaiyin Marquis Biography" ".

On the pavilion on the North Terrace, there is a couplet written by the patriotic general Feng Yuxiang during his stay in Hanzhong: "Gai Shixun is famous among the three heroes, and his prestige on the altar is astonishing." Fight for this big military stage, fully demonstrate his talents, and help Liu Bang conquer half of the country. In a sense, the Altar of Worshiping Generals is actually the foundation of the Han Dynasty.
