Alu Ancient Cave is located in the southeast of Yunnan, 2 kilometers west of Luxi County, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is known as "the first cave in Yunnan". "Alu Ancient Cave" is Yi language, which means "a tiger's cave with a flat grassland in front".
Alu Ancient Cave National Geopark is a medium-sized geological and geomorphic geopark with scientific and aesthetic value, with karst cave landscape and karst landform landscape as the main body, supplemented by paleontological fossil group sites, ancient human remains, natural ecology and human landscape. , consisting of the main park of Alu Ancient Cave and 8 surrounding scenic spots (Baishuitang Karst Platform, Karst Depression Lake, Wuzhe Hot Spring, Pijiazhai Karst Spring, Huangcaozhou Karst Ecological Wetland, Chengzi Ancient Village, Smoking Cave Cave Group, Liancheng Karst Cave, Tiankeng group, Maoshuidong karst cave group).
