The ancient salt well site refers to the Nuodeng salt well, which has been mined for more than 2,000 years since the Han Dynasty. There are existing buildings such as salt wells, well houses, and large salt cooking stoves.

The salt well is a 21-meter-deep vertical well. In ancient times, the method of manually drawing water was used to extract brine from below and distribute it to various "stove households" to cook salt. Nuodeng Salt Well is Tsutsui. There are 2 wellheads at the salt well. One eye draws brine and boils salt, and the other eye draws fresh water.

Among the salt wells in Yunlong, Nuodeng well has high brine content and high output. Due to no one taking care of them, the two wellheads have been submerged by groundwater and abandoned. Only the wetland next to the salt well still sees spots of white salt stains, indicating that there was salt production here not long ago, and the brine here has not been completely exhausted.
