Ancient Wudang Mountain is located in the northwest of Wu'an City, Handan City, about 70 kilometers by car from Handan City. It is a famous historical Taoist mountain. Nowadays, visiting ancient Wudang Mountain is mainly to climb the mountain and visit the many Taoist temples in the mountain. The Wudang Mountains are steep and strange, with water flows, ponds, and many huge rocks and cliffs in the mountains, which are very beautiful. The Taoist temples are mainly distributed in the two places at the bottom of the mountain. The early Taoist temples were built in the Tang Dynasty, and there were also large-scale constructions in the Ming Dynasty. It is very good to visit ancient times and pay homage.
There are two ways to visit ancient Wudang Mountain. One is to walk the whole way, which takes about 4-5 hours. Among them, it takes about 1.5 hours to climb the mountain one way. You can visit the Sanfeng Bridge, Sanfeng City, Wutianchi, and Our Lady Attractions such as caves, and then reach the top of the mountain to visit scenic spots such as Jinding Ancient Temple, Skyscraper Bridge, Yuhuang Pavilion, Peach Blossom Peak, etc. Most of them are Taoist temples. Very dangerous on the bridge. If you are not physically strong enough, you can also take the cableway up the mountain, just to enjoy the mountain top scenery, the whole journey takes less than 3 hours.
