The Arden Botanical Garden located in the urban area of Baotou is known as the green lung of the city. Arden North Street runs through the middle of the park and divides the park into East Garden and West Garden. The landscape in the park is unique, with a wide variety of plants and dense vegetation. It is an ideal place for citizens to exercise in the morning to enjoy the cool and tourists to visit the garden.
The botanical garden includes a botanical science tour area, a scientific research experiment area, an artificial lake area, a production greenhouse and a flower garden. Among them, the botanical science tourist area is divided into eight gardens: Rose Garden, Peony Garden, Desert Desert Botanical Garden, Shrub Garden, Arboretum Garden, Climbing Botanical Garden, Perennial Flower Garden, and Grass Garden.
Every July, Baotou City will hold a three-month flower exhibition in the botanical garden.
