Aqiong Nanzong Temple is located in the Danxia Landform Center Scenic Area of Kanbula National Forest Park. It is a Nyingma Temple of Tibetan Buddhism. It is a historic site where an eminent monk once lived, and it has a history of more than 1,100 years.
Here the peaks protrude, the mountains are strange, the forests are green, the springs are gurgling, and the scenery is very magnificent. On the northeast side of the temple stands a towering and steep Nanzong Peak, which is as unique as Huashan Mountain. On the north side of her, there is a stone-step mountain path that can reach the peak, most of which are dug from the cliff. Passing through, some sections are almost straight up and down from the cliff, as precipitous as climbing a ladder. From the stone path to the top, you can see an ancient temple hidden in the pines. This ancient temple is composed of five small grottoes. Some of these grottoes are formed naturally, and some are excavated. The velvet is trimmed, the cornices are close to the mountains, elegant and beautiful. When climbing Nanzong Peak, you can have a panoramic view of the magnificent Cambra.
