Hami Huiwang Mansion is located at the southern end of Hami City, and it can be reached by bus from the city. Huiwangfu used to be a palace building with large scale, magnificent architecture and unique style in Xinjiang. It was a veritable "Little Forbidden City of the Western Regions". Today's Huiwangfu Scenic Spot is an antique building complex reconstructed based on the former Hami Huiwangfu. Here you can feel the majestic and exquisite Hami Huiwangfu, visit the architectural style combining Han culture and Islamic culture, and understand Hami's rule in Huiwang period history. The gate back to the palace is located on the north side. The entire palace is small, about two to three hundred meters long and wide. It can be visited on foot, and it takes about one to two hours to complete the tour. There are a total of 28 buildings in the park, which are mainly divided into three parts, namely the courtyard, the station of soldiers and the station of princes. After entering through the gate on the north side of the scenic spot, you will be greeted by a road in the center of the scenic spot. The buildings are distributed along the roadside. After entering the gate, the courtyard area is on the left hand side. Here is a courtyard about 30 meters long and wide. The post station where the palace receives guests. The buildings here are not much different from the general Chinese courtyards, so you can simply visit them. About 60 meters along the avenue, you will come to the entrance of Wangyetai area, which is on the right. Wangyetai is the main and largest part of the scenic spot, and it is also the place where the king returned to work, worship and live. Wangye Terrace is a large courtyard with a length and width of about 100 meters. There are buildings such as the office hall, Huiwang’s bedroom, and a mosque. When Huiwang built it, it imitated the architecture of the Forbidden City, and added Islamic style, so the buildings inside are very distinctive. The first is the mosque. The main hall of the mosque is a typical Han-style building, while the Xuanli Building is an Islamic round-arched and pointed building. The contrast is great. When visiting the courtyard, it should also be noted that there are no statues of animals and figures in the courtyard pavilions, only flowers and various geometric patterns, which are also Islamic style and very distinctive. In the main office hall and bedroom, the office facilities and living utensils of the Hui kings of the past are also displayed. There are also portraits and descriptions of the Hui kings of the past dynasties. You can learn about the history and stories of the Hui kings during the visit. After visiting the scenic spots near Wangyetai, you can go eastward and you will come to the Dianbingtai area. There are military training grounds, tall watchtowers, barracks and other buildings. You can go in and visit. After visiting Wangyetai, you can go north along the avenue in the middle of the scenic spot and return to the gate to leave the scenic spot.
