The Badaling Wildlife World is adjacent to the Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area and is one of the famous zoos in Beijing. There are hundreds of species and tens of thousands of animals in the park. It is a good place to take children to see animals. You can drive around the whole zoo by car, which is convenient for close observation and feeding of animals.
Park overview
The main entrance of Badaling Wildlife World is located on the north side, and at the end of the south side is an ark square. There are animal performance areas, viewing areas, etc. in the square area, as well as a temple. There are two roads leading from the main entrance on the north side to the square on the south side, one passes through the area of fierce animals (mainly carnivores) and the other road is the area of docile animals (mainly herbivores). The animals in both areas are free-range , Visitors can observe animals at close range, and in the docile animal area, they can also open the car window to feed.
tour route
The tour route in the park is to watch the beast area first, then reach the square from this road, visit the animal performance area and viewing area near the square, and then return from the docile animal area to visit and feed the docile animals along the way.
The zoo can be entered by car, which is very convenient, but a certain fee is required for self-driving. If you are not a self-driving tourist, you need to take public transportation in the park. There are bus viewing cars on the road in the beast area, or you can take a relatively open iron cage feeding car. After arriving at the square, you can return from the docile animal area on foot, or you can return by battery car.
beast zone
The beast area is the first place for tourists to play when entering the zoo. There are White Tiger Park, Wild Wolf Valley, Wild Boar Forest, Lion Tiger Park, Malay Bear Park and other parks. There are iron gates between each park to prevent animals from getting mixed up. The iron gate will automatically open when the vehicle arrives in front of the gate.
You can watch these animals along the way when you drive or take the transportation in the park. If you take the zoo's iron cage feeding car, you can also feed the animals. It should be noted that if you drive through this area by yourself, you must close the windows and lock the doors (some animals will drive the doors by themselves) to prevent accidents.
Ark Plaza
Ark Plaza is mainly for performing arts and entertainment. There is an animal performance field on the square. There will be animal performances on weekends and holidays. You can see bears riding bicycles, elephants dancing, etc. It is very suitable for bringing children to watch.
There are several animal viewing areas on the east side of the square, where the animals are kept in cages and can be fed. In some parks, you can hug baby animals and take photos with small animals. On the hill behind the square, there is also a small Buddhist temple, and those who are interested can go to visit and worship.
Docile Animal Area
On the way back, we will pass through the docile animal area, which is dominated by herbivores, including sika deer, zebras, alpacas, camels, etc. You can get off the car and feed them. Many animals will come to eat, which is very interesting. There will be a lake on the way, where you can watch egrets, swans and other animals.
In addition, there are Peacock Garden, Monkey Mountain, Panda House, etc., which can be visited, and individual viewing gardens and feeding gardens may charge additional fees.
