Balin Zuoqi Liao Shangjing Museum is located in Chifeng City, covering an area of 4696 square meters. The layout of the exhibition bureau covers an area of 1,800 square meters, with a total of 6 exhibition halls. Using utensils and pictures as illustrations, it introduces the history and value of Liao Shangjing in a narrative way, and at the same time shows people the unique nomadic culture of the Khitan people. It is a special museum integrating national culture, historical research and sightseeing. Among them, Liao Dynasty stone carvings, Khitan large characters, Khitan small characters inscriptions and epitaphs and Liao Dynasty murals are more distinctive, with more than 2,000 sets of artifacts on display.
